can someone please explain who Eva is? I’m new to the WoD, and recently finished vtmb. I’m trying to educate myself on the lore as much as possible before vtmb2 releases!

They already tied the werewolves in, now I'm only on the epilogues of season 2, but I bet we're in for surprises later on.
They tied everything in, it's in the corebook
you'll need a vacuum cleaner with a brush head after the Garou gets through with it
But the problem is that mage most people don’t even know it exist, while werewolf is not even nearly as popular as vampires.

@Coldest of nights 56 To be fair, she says "tyrannical" and "more inhuman." She doesn't say "vampire bad guys" or anything like that. I will agree, however, that it gives a positive spin on Anarchs, though. As for "tyrannical," that IS accurate, though. Each city has one vampire who can order the death of any of his/her citizenry, without that vampire having done anything wrong or even without being accused of doing anything wrong. Even if it's a fair or just killing, there's no trial unless the Prince wants one. That's the power of the Prince, and the major downside of the Camarilla: that one person dictates whether everyone else lives or dies, and can establish, bend, or break rules as he or she pleases. With a just ruler, the Camarilla is - in my opinion - far better than the Anarchs. Without a just ruler, however, it's positively awful. You can be ordered at any moment to do ANYTHING your Prince asks of you, even if it jeopardizes the life of yourself, your friends, your loved ones from when you were alive, etc., regardless of the reason why, or you risk giving the Prince public justification for your execution.

The Anarchs are only a shadow of the true free sect, the sabbat, while the camarilla serves those same ancient ones, that will rise to destroy every one of us in their hunger. Pathetic! Omfg why did I never think of replacing the room lightbulbs with blacklight bulbs??? My table has always struggled with balancing light levels for vampire while also being able to see everything well
I did that once in college; I can confirm that it works. I can also confirm that it's a really fun touch to put one in your fridge where the drinks are, thus creating Spooky Fridge.

I am very late to the party and all of this has blown my mind. 1st Ms. Ishii becomes the voice of one of my favorite characters in Destiny and then Eva switches from Tremere to Brujah. Very trippy times indeed.

Going on 30 years since I first got into this amazing game.......still love it to this day, though I watch people play it more than I play it myself these days.
man, that takes me back, havnt played VtM since second edition, still to this day, the best character death ive ever gotten at the end of a long campaign that stretched 700 years

Makes sense. Both are grim and dark, but Vampire in particular focus more on personal stories and social interactions, while 40K focus more on combat at the battlefield/army level.

I miss the covenants from the previous edition. Circle of the Crone was always my favorite. Maybe we'll get them in the players' guide that supposed to be coming out sometime late this year.

I hope they do this for each IP in the WoD. And then expand on it with clans and Lore done the road!
There's going to be a players guide that will cover the other clans at some point (and hopefully explain the Sabbat in more detail), and they're currently working on Werewolf. I'd figure they'll do something similar for Mage, Changeling etc, but not for a while.
Ah the modern nights, things have changed and yet the eternal battles are eternal.
And nobody is truly a hero.
I want to return to this game.

Been running a V5 campaign this year, finally coming to an end in session 32 as the party fight a fallen angel. I'm hoping it will be an epic finale :)
It's been quite a ride, I highly recommend people give the system a go.
Jeez, a Fallen is a really formidable enemy. If it is a Namaru with Lore of Flame, or Halaku with Lore of Death, to name a few, they are in big trouble. Those will turn the Kindred into dust in moments. Best to try and use the same method Lucifer used to beat Earthbound -- drain the Faith.
Two shots of rolling dice following eachother seems like a miss in editing - otherwise this was probably the best commercial for VTM I have ever seen. Good job!

Must admit I prefer the Dark age setting but maybe Bloodlines 2 will prompt me to run a modern game (would be fun to bring forward those Dark Age characters ;) )
I was actually in a game like that once. We played a Dark Ages chronicle all the way through, then transsitioned those characters to Modern Nights. We had a few who wanted to play new characters, and we let them, however, a few kept their DA characters, and it was pretty awesome. It's where I developed my infamous "Brukavian." She was a low gen elder whom was touched by Malkav, himself. I made a symbol and everything. Cracked mirror of Malkavians, but with the Brujah symbol in the reflective part, so it was symbolism that my Brujah was fractured! Fun times!

I'm seriously keen to get into this as I've only ever played the videogame (which I adore) but never actually tried the original tabletop game. It's always intrigued me very much

I've been playing the WoW Tabletop since I was ten. I started Dming it when I was 18. I'm just now at 24 playing through the first Vampire Bloodlines game (how have I made it so long), I'm beyond excited for the next, it's going to be on preorder asap. I should be able to play through three or four clans before the next comes out or I get bored
Is there instruction video or tutorial on how to do a solo campaign for people like me who dont have friends to play with :(? I got the book recently

Yeap! This is a good introduction to WoD. V5 has the same spirit as the old Vampire: The Masquerade had.
Still waiting on Bloodlines 2
I'd rather wait for a complete, good game than have a repeat of Bloodlines 1. If that game had been released when it was actually finished, and the ending hadn't been rushed, we might not have had to wait a decade and a half for the next one.

@@williuslibert3324 Sabbat is a lot weaker now because they were decimated by Second Inquisition or they have left for The Beckoning. They are working on Sabbat add-on now.
