I’m a catholic and it is Saint Valentine .Valentine was a Holy man. This is our start of lent.Ash Wednesday and this is a time of fasting until Easter Saturday ,Easter Sunday.

My day will be spent taking my husband to a hand surgeon. He almost cut his index finger off. He cut his flexor tender, so we have to see if they can reattach the ends back together.

Tomorrow will be our 54th Valentine's Day together. We will be married 53 years in October. But we've known each other all our lives. We are going to make ourselves a chocolate cobbler and enjoy it together. He made one for my 71st birthday in January. But I only got a little bit since it was shared with family. And i love chocolate and him 🥰🥰

My son had his front teeth pulled out when he was 5 all o his front teeth were black. I never found out why so they were pulled . He did fine. He’s 50 now with beautiful smile. I made the rightdecision 45 years ago.
Did you take sulfa sorry, probably not spelled right, while you were pregnant? I was told it could discolor my babies teeth. I think that was it.

Leighton catch of the bobcat was awesome! We won't be doing to much tomorrow cause today we had to rush our cat Rufus to the emergency vet. He is going to be ok the pocket book is hurting a bit but that's ok too. I will fix a nice meal and keep a eye on the drugged up kitty he is pretty funny and very lovey dovey when drugged. I'm glad that you plan to keep Dixie and Toby separate until Dixie is spayed. Just remember that Toby may be able to jump a tall fence if he has motivation.

I usually will just enjoy my day and look through family pictures and have memories. Growing up my Mom would put a little Valentine by our breakfast plate at our place at the table. Nothing big or expensive but us girls usually got a little necklace, or hair accessory
, maybe heart earing etc. It was just a lovely gesture. Hope your little girl does well and yes she will remember it a long long time.

I wish I had a kitty but with the prices of food & cat litter I can’t afford a cat. Plus I’d have to pay extra rent for a pet & a deposit. No I’m alone wish I could do something. My son & Daughter in law’s 10th anniversary so they are going out of town.💞. First real vacation my son has had. Any way I’ll make myself a nice dinner & watch TH-cam videos.

Hi Stephanie, when I was a child in School, we would pick a name from the List and give that Person a Valentine. My teacher would have us make cards for our parents at home too. My Parents saved those cards. My Parents would go out to eat. And I agree that treating your loved one with love and respect should be all year long.

I'm a valentines baby! Steph any spare old hay and leaves in the low pasture and it'll break down in to dirt any time you clean out chicken pens the whole thing can fill up the lower spots!😊🕯🧡💜🧡

For Valentines Day i get out the things the ids made me and show them I still treasure their gifts no matter what. I also go hubby Lemon Marine Pie his favorite and a hand made card. We are married 50 yrs this August 2024. I sent my family Valentines cards for their mantle.

Hoping Braylee doesn't have too rough of a time tomorrow, its hard on little ones (and Mama. I have worked with dogs for more than 45 years and never heard of a dog getting pregnant soon after having puppies. Average dogs will come into heat around 4 months after whelping a litter.....check the date from the last litter Dixie had, think she is normal. Thanks
❤ Steph, you walking around checking on the animals is very important to taking care of your animals. You are able to keep a close check on them for their welfare. I commend you for doing that. This Valentine’s Day is the 53rd anniversary of my husband’s and my first date. We saw the movie “Love Story” and the rest is history. Unfortunately, he has dementia and doesn’t remember this, but I reminded him at dinner last night. His response was, “Oh”. Thought my daughter-in-law was going to choke on her dinner.😂 We will be spending the day at the dentist, then picking up his new eyeglasses, followed by a quiet dinner at home.
Don’t worry about Braylee remembering Valentine’s Day with getting dental surgery. The first boyfriend she has that gives her a. Card or sends roses will wipe out anything negative she may have about the day. Kids are resilient, much more so than parents give them credit for, so stop worrying, Mama. She’ll do just fine.
