Love your channel. I can’t get over how much you sound like Lisa. Such a sweet group of sisters. Your parents should be so pleased with the wonderful ladies you are.
As I am almost 68 years old I think it's fabulous you encourage sewing and all things home made. It's sad this generation is all about instant gratification. You rock, live the hat and the light.
I’m so happy how you make being a homemaker a wonderful thing!!! I’ve sewn my whole life and feel it’s becoming a lost art. So seeing you as a wife, mother, at a sewing machine after gardening, making meals, making sourdough bread and decorating, it’s so refreshing!! Love the lamp!!!!
What a nice video! I used to sew a lot, when I was younger. Learned on my mom's treadle machine, and was a 4-Her. You make me want to sew again. Your lamp looks great.
Hi Andrea, found your channell from Lisa and Laura's channels....I'm 45yrs old, amd just getting into sewing, and all things vintage! I absolutley love your kitchen, and ADORE the new light fixture! What a great find!!!
Your sewing room is very inspiring. I used to sew a lot several years ago. My skill level is moderate at best; and the fabric has gotten so expensive and wow can't believe how much a pattern costs that I don't sew anymore. The small town we live in only has a Joannes and its very pricey. Our Walmart has a very small fabric section these days, and not much variety. Love your recipes, and always enjoy how beautiful your kitchen is.
I don’t think I have ever used a sewing machine.. it is very intimidating to me! And knowing I would have to buy so much to get started is a deterrent because what if I’m not good at it or I don’t like it? Ha!! Thanks for the encouragement though, I’ve always thought it would be fun to do things like curtains, pillow cases, tea towels..
You might check if your library has a makerspace (or something similar). They often have sewing machines and other equipment you can check out so you can try it for a bit. There might also be a fabric store near you with a beginner class so you'll have a little help to get started.
I get so excited when ever I see a new video pop up! I used to sew so much when my girls were little. I've sewn a bit for my grand daughter. At the moment i am wirking on a roman shade for my kitchen window. Also your kitchen is so dang cheerful.
Wow, you are so brave to use a mandolin without a safety gard! My fingers would've been sliced off! Your salad looked great, brave girl! Your hat turned out so cute!! Loved your video!
I love doing ground beef/venison bowls! They’re sooo easy; I sauté thinly sliced carrots, onions, and garlic, and then throw in ground beef or venison or both and cook until that’s browned, and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and Italian seasoning. You can add some cayenne powder if you want a kick. Add tomatoes and cook them down, or a splash of whatever tomato sauce you have open in the fridge 😆 serve over rice
That light is so perfect! Great find!!! The salad looks really yummy. I love balsamic dressings. Your hat is so cute, I can see that in many many different fabric choices. I don’t know what that ice cream name is.
You have such a calm way of doing your household chores. It's easy to see you love what you're doing. I see the same thing in your sisters as well. You must have gotten that from your mother. I love seeing your husband and baby girl every now and then. It shows us tha there are real people you are cooking, sewing, shopping and caring for. ❤
The hats are so cute, and the material is really pretty too! I agree on using google , I google everything and without google I'd bee so lost lol😄 I've been seriously considering buying a insta pot, i love how quickly they cook. I'd much rather eat a meal cooked at home than eat out! Its just me and my husband so i don't have to cook much and with the insta pot i think it would be super easy. That light is so cute! And it looks really good in that space. Your trip looked like loads of fun😊 I've never had an Affogato but it looks delicious! I've never seen it at the Starbucks but I'll definitely ck it out next time i go.. if they don't have it I'll look up a recipe! Enjoyed the video TFS😊
I’ve been fighting with my sewing machine. It either sews perfectly then out of nowhere it all jumbled up on the bottom. Like the thread all jumbled up but you don’t realize it happens as you are sewing. I’m not sure if this is from threading wrong (which I don’t know if I’m doing) or is this a machine issue? This was my grandmothers machine and I do not have a manual for it unfortunately.
sounds like the tension setting is off. Look on line for the manual. You can also take your machine to a shop and have a check up on it. They can show you how to thread it and make sure the tension is correct.
@@denisejones1863 thank you so much. I’ll have to see if I can find the manual. I was avoiding bringing it in incase it was something silly I should know better that I was doing 🤣 but I may have to do that.

Have you googled the make and any numbers on the machine you may be able to get a new manual

All good responses you've already gotten! :) it probably needs to be serviced!

Love your videos! How can I reach you?
Don't need the straps and the rim could us some stiffening .
Hi! It was a bit hard to hear your voice over your music about half way through this fun video… (just an FYI) 🙂
The music is too loud at times. You really don't need any music.
It was up and down.
