If charger is taking 10 Amps of 75 volt, it's 750 watts per hour. For 3 hours it will take 2250 watts. That is 2.25 units. Even if you take a higher tariff of 5 RS per unit, it will cost 12 RS approx for 3 Hour charging. If vehicle gives even a lesser range of 80 Km per charge. 12 Rs / 80 Km comes to 0.15 Rs. Per km. Cost...
15 paise per Km. Even if you charge in commercial tariff of 15 RS per unit, your cost is still 45 paise per Km. If you compare a petrol scooter, no scooter gives more than 45 km milege per litre. 105 Rs pet litre / 45 Km is 2.3 Rs per Km. So on net you are saving close to 2.15 Rs per Km by using an EV....Hope your doubt is clear. Even if the battery comes for a minimum of 40000 Kms you would have saved 86000 Rs. Even in case you have to change battery at 40000 Kms, battery price will not be more than 45000. You still save another 41000.
Since service chargers are very negligible, it's a total win win for you. If you are planning for a EV buy the brand's which gives LFP battery. They have longer life. Close to 2000 Charging cycle. 2000 x 80 Km is 160000 kms battery life...Also LFP is safe and will not catch fire....
I stay in.Tambaram surrounding... I use to travel lit on bypass and ECR and some village roads around chwngalpet ...what if the bikes goes dead or not starting ...how will the company give a solution... Bcoz fir a petrol bike i can find a mechanic very easily ...but for EV VEHICHLES HOW BRO...DO WE WANT TO DEOEND ON COMPANIES SERVICE OR HELP ALWays ...all these things makes me to withdraw from EV vehichles
@@kvc2008mag EVs in current scenario is not for people going out of town and rural areas. Once govt setup Charging centres in all bunks, you people can go for EVs. Otherwise carry the charger, and extra battery if possible if you are planning to use for outstation and rural trips. You can ask any shop or petrol bunk for a normal 6 amp socket for charging and you can pay them what they ask for. Tradional EVs are more reliable than the modern software driven Olas and Athers. Software can go wrong any time. So choose a vehicle independent of softwares, you will not regret... If you buy a reliable brand with LFP battery and long range ( 130 + Kms ) you can go for EVs now itself. There are places where there are no puncture shops nearby, no Ice engine mechanics nearby. These are unavoidable for both EV and ICE engine vehicles...There are people who bought EVs 12 years back when range was only 30 kms and only Lead acid battery was used. It depends on your mentality and preparedness for change. Nothing else...

Basic non feature EVs are available even for 65000. But people look for unwanted features and complain of the price... I own BattRE one model scooter for more than 3 years. It has safest LFP battery from Okaya. Range close to 55 Km real life....Absolutely no issues. I serviced only once.. Okaya supported with battery replacement when I had some range issue...I bought that for close to 85 K. Charger auto cutoff feature available. So no worries about over charging...It has dual disc brakes. I replaced brake pad recently myself.. Had to replace the lockset as someone damaged the lock in a public parking. That too I did myself.
If you know basic idea you can easily maintain EVs yourself... ( Not for Controller/ motor/ Battery. They need professional maintenance knowledge).

Many people here buying ola and TVS can't understand that Vida comes with removable battery. In flats, you can't keep charger in night safely and installing charger in car park is not feasible. This is the only EV which allows charging at home safely in the night. With such features and PMSM motor, the price will be reasonable. BLDC motor used by TVS is cheaper and so they offer at less price.
Hero and Ather have common charging station. That's another advantage. I don't want to compromise on plastic single fork suspension of ola by paying less with no service stations. Hero brand and reach is way ahead of others. Vida v1 the 🌟
I saw one news one person died in kerela due to rear wheel broken due to pmsw motor struck in highway and he died .another one more person recently same issue wheel broken but safe.In tamilnadu one youtuber son got accident due to limp home issue.
