where did you enroll?
I have been hearing alot about multiple choice elimination techniques for the exam.
From my experience with testing I usually only have used the process of elimination as a *last resort* in situations where i just am unsure of the answer, but it seems like with medical coding this technique is almost essential if you want to pass due to the time constraints.
On the practice exam every single question is like this almost and it is exhausting for me knowing that i can't do most of them quickly and sometimes I have trouble finding the correct answer.
If you're implying that the longer documentation are saved for 10 questions towards the end while the rest may be anatomy, terminology, and straight forward coding questions like : What is the CPT code for laryngoscopy?
That would be a relief if so..😅 but if it's going to be like this or the practice test all the way through within 4 hours I'm definitely going to have to condition myself for speed.

Without looking at the choices first the scenario i got 59151-LT. I'm kind of uncertain as to why this wouldn't be the more specific code choice as to 58661-LT.
I know that 58661 says partial or complete removal, but it's just unbelievable that the index would have subheadings 'for ectopic pregnancy' for no reason. Medical coding really makes me feel dumb 😅

question sir regarding online exam. Is pdf books allowed or only hard copy books? Would greatly appreciate your answer to this.
Hardcopy books only 2021/2022 edition
Just took the CPC exam and there were a lot of case studies and not so much short answer questions. I am focusing on the case studies more.
How did you do?
I am confused about the Case 1 you have RT but it states LT and the answer D you chose is an add on code 58611.

So what if you fail the exam, do you get to repeat without paying extra?
One payment covers two attempts, but I'm not sure if you get to take your second attempt at your own leisure or not.
I also don't know how long you have to wait or how much you have to pay if you happen to fail two times.
The modifier should be LT, not RT for left fallopian bube
