Thank you for coming to Manistee and checking our race out! Really enjoyed your perspective and insight. Congratulations on a great race too heck yeah!!!
Congratulations on stepping up to the longer distances. I haven't raced as much has i had thought and im staying with the mid distances. I'll advance next year tho🚵🎉🏁
I'm really happy with it! I've added a chain guide to prevent the chain from coming off the front sprocket and swapped the seat. Other than that, I haven't modified anything else. Planning on racing it again for 2023. I will say that I do plan on my next bike being carbon just for the feel and weight. However, the value of the Grail 7 is tough to beat.
@@thumbcyclist I want to support my local bike shop (they are Trek), but Canyon value is tough to turn down. The Checkpoint SL5 2022 is beautiful but is $600-700 more than the Grail 7 CF and has worse wheels/tires. It's a tough choice. Are you coming to Vet's park CX in Ann Arbor?
@@MrHatt7777 Ahh yeah, that's tough! The consumer direct model saves quite a bit of cash up front, but you also don't get to test ride which can be a deal breaker. I won't be at Vet's park unfortunately. I do want to do a full CX season next year though.
I've never heard of this until I saw this video yesterday. I'm signed up for this year now, super excited 😊
This race looks awesome.
Great vid. Never done any gravel or any road race event ever. Hope to do some this year. New to gravel world. Subbed
My grandson Hunter won 1st place last year in 127 miles in the Rusty Fish. Hunter Bromley. I’m so proud of him.

Tom’s a boss.
I love riding around Manistee. Beautiful part of the state
When i rode 100mile in Ludington the sand was a surprise. But now i am better prepared for next year's 100 mile.
