Tip: Toy Freddy in this game is kinda like foxy where you can ignore him the entire night and still win. After he loses his game, he has a 1/11 chance to kill you at every .5 second interval that you're in the cameras. So if you are fast enough with ventilation resets there's actually a decent chance he won't be a problem.
yeah but with how often ventilation errors happen and him spending like a second and a half or so each ventilation reset he's bound to actually get that lucky. He'd have better luck switching to toy freddy cam and setting a keybind for each of TFs doors, as that's 1 in 3
Not true actually, with good timing you only have to do 5 vent resets in a night (lets just assume 6 for a blindfold run). With practice and a better keybind setup he could easily spend about 0.3-0.5 seconds in the cameras for each vent reset, giving toy Freddy maybe 4 or 5 chances of killing him, so about 40%. Closing the door for toy Freddy at the start is actually pointless, since it only holds him off for about 10-20 seconds, and there's only a 1/3 chance you get it right each time.

If I recall correctly Scott was against balancing UCN to make it easier but I'd argue adding some additional key binds and/or expanding the sound library would be a fine super late update.
I'm gonna be real with you, Scott Cawthon probably threw away the source code for this game ages ago. It was very much just a meme project he did for fun (and probably because he wanted to give a more satisfying karmic punishment to Afton.)
@@SissypheanCatboy That's an atrocious excuse to throw out an entire projects' source code and/or assets and a horrible mindset to get into, every bit of code and every project is invaluable even if it's only for the sake of archival, we don't live in the early age computers(relatively speaking) either so wasted storage space is completely invalid too given how readily available and cheap even the biggest devices are. I have heard of far worse reasons for people destroying their own work however so I wouldn't be surprised but I am super doubtful all the same.
Spiff should have Twitch chat call out what he needs to do. It's Just Keep Talking and No One Will Explode but with 50+ threats Twitch chat needs needs be trusted to manage
With Twitch's delay to the actual stream it would be hard to communicate at the same time, even impossible. The only way I could see this working is if the twitch had a set delay like lets say 15 seconds. They could potentially tell him the time if they say 30 secs when the time for them is 00:15. Anyways it kind of ruins the point because at that point he could just use the help of a friend of his being right next to him, and that would mean he technically isn't blindfolded

I mean, DougDoug's setup is different than most streamers. Instead of listening to donos, like one would assume, he sets up a program that reads out random Twitch messages in real time. Multiply that by the number of threats Spiff would need to deal with, just a lot of TTS in your ear.
I love that chat still spams "HE'S NOT TAKIN' ENOUGH DAMAGE! GET SOME HEADSHOTS!" Another legendary running joke. You should do a stream where you do the "Save Eugene" run but you also have to hit 10 successful clowns (not in a row) within the time frame to complete a run. It would be absoultely legendary. Again, I love your videos and the crazy challenges you do. P.S. The Lee Sin cosplay was a surprise, but a welcome one to be sure

Hey Spiff, amazing work on the video! As someone whos beaten 50/20, I think some more characters could be added. Scrap Baby will show up every run, but the need to shock her is really low. The chance that you would need too could ruin a run, but it is very very very unlikely. Withered Bonnie and Rockstar Bonnie operate on a 13 second timer, meaning if you never open up the camera on an interval of 13 you will never see them, though this just adds more luck to the pit unless you can find a way of tracking the time. Maybe an audio device that counts what second it is throughout the night? Toy Freddy actually would be possible, but it is just another pile of RNG. The only reason you stall him once at the start of the night is because he can only kill you if you are on cams, and since you flip the camera up for less than a second for vent reset, it is very unlikely he will kill you later on during the night, but it is possible. I think setting a hotkey for Helpys location depending on what office you use would also be beneficial for Music Man, though if you were to add Nightmarionne I recommend playing anything but the first office has the first office has 3 locations for NightMarrionne that overlap while most others have two, though I have not fact checked this. Also for Phantom Freddy, theirs two solutions, but one of them won't work. He only lets vent animatronics in, so BB and JJ, and those that come from the W vent, theoretically meaning you could have them closed for when he attacks. Although a better solution would to be flash when you change from Music To Fan and Vice Versa, as well as when you come off cams. Also to add on to the chica discussion, both her and the Marionette operate on a 15 second interval of when you should be using the Global Music Box, albeit it does come down to a lot of RNG despite this. Most if not all 50/20 strategies start with fan off, 15 seconds later music box, then 15 seconds after at the 30 second mark power generator and fan. But without a way to tell time, chica might as well be impossible. For FunTime Foxy, it would be almost impossible unless you set up specific hot keys to change camera to Camera 07, then buying the death coin, then Camera 06, then Deathcoining FunTime Foxy, then back to Camera 02. Though it is important to note the camera moving could screw this up, but buying the coin and deathcoining FunTime Foxy DO have a sound que. To get the 10 coins needed, you can do a trick with spamming cameras to spawn in BB and JJ and Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear since they spawn if you have your cameras up at any interval of the 5 second mark. Keep in mind if they both spawn on top of BB and JJ, closing all doors at the same time will only grant you ONE coin, instead of the three that should be granted due to a bug. Though it isn't a problem normally, closing both doors at random times can make Jack O Chica go away just in case the heat gets to high. On a power saving note, closing the left door periodically will make it so you don't have to keep it closed when you open your cameras, though this is a very high risk strategy as Freddy is the only threat on the left as long as you keep the Wet Floor Sign on the left as well. With these in mind, I think 49/20 is possible! Just removing music man. Amazing work! Can't wait for a follow up. Good Luck!

Fun fact, Rockstar Bonnie can only show up if you're on the cams at a multiple of 13 seconds, which is unlikely if you are able to reset ventilation within a fraction of a second (easy enough with hotkeys).

Closing your eyes to get the full immersed experience, trying to understand how you could possibly interpret all that shit, is honestly more sensory overload than just watching the video normally.
Alright. Here’s some stuff that hopefully will help: - Close all doors before you open the cameras. This is because: A: Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare only attack you once you pull up your cameras. Similarly, Freddy and the vent bastards wait until then, and so do the balloon children. B: I’m 99% sure Foxy can’t throw his limbs into the room if all of the doors are closed. (Including vents if I have to guess.) (And also it’s probably easier to do all at once rather than just a few.) - Chica can be soothed via the Global Music Box. And if I recall correctly, it’s based off of a rhythm/timing not do dissimilar to the Puppet’s own. Sterf has a video going into detail on it. - Once you get the mask key set up, add Golden Freddy. He gets shut down by the mask as well as the cams. - You probably also could set up a Rockstar Freddy keybind, and even one for the far right vent snare; the latter is because Withered Chica always goes the far route, and will just be feeding you coins that way. That should be all for now, though I’d also suggest finding a way to set an audio lure in the ducts, since that will practically cut down the Mediocre Melody count from 5 to 1.5 (since Ned Bear is only sometimes affected, so he might break free on occasion.) I’ll update this if I remember any new tips, and probably will change the top of the comment so you don’t have to open the whole comment to check. (Never mind, guess that was already thought of lmao.) Alright. Good luck. (Also, you should probably do some practice without blindfolding yourself lmao.)
Supposedly there're two safe spots from Nightmarionne on the very left and right of the screen, roughly placed somewhere in the middle of either side. Hotkeys to Middle Far-Left and Middle Far-Right could help here For Phone Guy, if there's (theoretically speaking) only a set number of places the "Mute Call" button can be, you might be able to hotkey to them (though, if that's true, that would require a lot of clicks in rapid succession). Note that this is just a theory, I have no idea if it actually has a set routine for button placement Funtime Foxy would need to be checked on the hour every hour, but given the counting-while-blindfolded issue, maybe you could set a timer for every 43 seconds or so as an auditory warning Toy Freddy is a bitch. "i HaVe ThEsE fAt PlAsTiC fInGeRs AnD cAn'T pReSs ThE bUtToNs!!1!" Just get a bigger keyboard then, ffs man. The only solution I can think of involves coding other elements into the game (like adding an alert sound for Mr Hugs that differs depending on the door and removing the camera movement). Happy Frog is content to just stick near the audio lure (as you've already said). Having a hotkey for a spot on the vent map would be ideal. The lure also nabs Pigpatch and Mr Hippo (supposedly) 100% of the time, although Nedd Bear and Orville would need the heater still
As a vodder it’s crazy how Spiff managed to blaze to 8,000 before hitting what feels like a glass ceiling trying to get any higher, but I’m nothing if not a viewer with faith in the Spigg endurance!

I know this is an older video but rewatching this reminds me of the setup me and my friend managed to play with We called it the Multiplayer UCN mode where I had the keyboard and she had the mouse, and thats when we learned most threats with the keyboard are all audio threats- it ended up with me barely watching the screen and her not caring about audio cues at all, I highly suggest trying it because it is INCREDIBLY chaotic (as long as you dont add Nightmare BB, that one just fucks up your runs)
As a 50/20 victor this is very cool. I want to try to max out blindfolded myself at some point. Also a side note for ventilation resets, you could technically get the muscle memory for the button by putting your cursor in the bottom right

An easy way to get rid of El Chip quickly is to have an extra keyboard at your feet so you can press enter without moving your hands like what Dawko did in his runs

@@SissypheanCatboy That's an atrocious excuse to throw out an entire projects' source code and/or assets and a horrible mindset to get into, every bit of code and every project is invaluable even if it's only for the sake of archival, we don't live in the early age computers(relatively speaking) either so wasted storage space is completely invalid too given how readily available and cheap even the biggest devices are.
I have heard of far worse reasons for people destroying their own work however so I wouldn't be surprised but I am super doubtful all the same.
Spiff should have Twitch chat call out what he needs to do. It's Just Keep Talking and No One Will Explode but with 50+ threats Twitch chat needs needs be trusted to manage
With Twitch's delay to the actual stream it would be hard to communicate at the same time, even impossible. The only way I could see this working is if the twitch had a set delay like lets say 15 seconds. They could potentially tell him the time if they say 30 secs when the time for them is 00:15.
Anyways it kind of ruins the point because at that point he could just use the help of a friend of his being right next to him, and that would mean he technically isn't blindfolded

I mean, DougDoug's setup is different than most streamers. Instead of listening to donos, like one would assume, he sets up a program that reads out random Twitch messages in real time. Multiply that by the number of threats Spiff would need to deal with, just a lot of TTS in your ear.

Hey Spiff, amazing work on the video! As someone whos beaten 50/20, I think some more characters could be added.
Scrap Baby will show up every run, but the need to shock her is really low. The chance that you would need too could ruin a run, but it is very very very unlikely.
Withered Bonnie and Rockstar Bonnie operate on a 13 second timer, meaning if you never open up the camera on an interval of 13 you will never see them, though this just adds more luck to the pit unless you can find a way of tracking the time. Maybe an audio device that counts what second it is throughout the night?
Toy Freddy actually would be possible, but it is just another pile of RNG. The only reason you stall him once at the start of the night is because he can only kill you if you are on cams, and since you flip the camera up for less than a second for vent reset, it is very unlikely he will kill you later on during the night, but it is possible.
I think setting a hotkey for Helpys location depending on what office you use would also be beneficial for Music Man, though if you were to add Nightmarionne I recommend playing anything but the first office has the first office has 3 locations for NightMarrionne that overlap while most others have two, though I have not fact checked this.
Also for Phantom Freddy, theirs two solutions, but one of them won't work. He only lets vent animatronics in, so BB and JJ, and those that come from the W vent, theoretically meaning you could have them closed for when he attacks. Although a better solution would to be flash when you change from Music To Fan and Vice Versa, as well as when you come off cams.
Also to add on to the chica discussion, both her and the Marionette operate on a 15 second interval of when you should be using the Global Music Box, albeit it does come down to a lot of RNG despite this. Most if not all 50/20 strategies start with fan off, 15 seconds later music box, then 15 seconds after at the 30 second mark power generator and fan. But without a way to tell time, chica might as well be impossible.
For FunTime Foxy, it would be almost impossible unless you set up specific hot keys to change camera to Camera 07, then buying the death coin, then Camera 06, then Deathcoining FunTime Foxy, then back to Camera 02. Though it is important to note the camera moving could screw this up, but buying the coin and deathcoining FunTime Foxy DO have a sound que.
To get the 10 coins needed, you can do a trick with spamming cameras to spawn in BB and JJ and Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear since they spawn if you have your cameras up at any interval of the 5 second mark. Keep in mind if they both spawn on top of BB and JJ, closing all doors at the same time will only grant you ONE coin, instead of the three that should be granted due to a bug.
Though it isn't a problem normally, closing both doors at random times can make Jack O Chica go away just in case the heat gets to high.
On a power saving note, closing the left door periodically will make it so you don't have to keep it closed when you open your cameras, though this is a very high risk strategy as Freddy is the only threat on the left as long as you keep the Wet Floor Sign on the left as well.
With these in mind, I think 49/20 is possible! Just removing music man. Amazing work! Can't wait for a follow up. Good Luck!

Fun fact, Rockstar Bonnie can only show up if you're on the cams at a multiple of 13 seconds, which is unlikely if you are able to reset ventilation within a fraction of a second (easy enough with hotkeys).

Alright.
Here’s some stuff that hopefully will help:
- Close all doors before you open the cameras. This is because:
A: Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare only attack you once you pull up your cameras. Similarly, Freddy and the vent bastards wait until then, and so do the balloon children.
B: I’m 99% sure Foxy can’t throw his limbs into the room if all of the doors are closed. (Including vents if I have to guess.)
(And also it’s probably easier to do all at once rather than just a few.)
- Chica can be soothed via the Global Music Box. And if I recall correctly, it’s based off of a rhythm/timing not do dissimilar to the Puppet’s own. Sterf has a video going into detail on it.
- Once you get the mask key set up, add Golden Freddy. He gets shut down by the mask as well as the cams.
- You probably also could set up a Rockstar Freddy keybind, and even one for the far right vent snare; the latter is because Withered Chica always goes the far route, and will just be feeding you coins that way.
That should be all for now, though I’d also suggest finding a way to set an audio lure in the ducts, since that will practically cut down the Mediocre Melody count from 5 to 1.5 (since Ned Bear is only sometimes affected, so he might break free on occasion.)
I’ll update this if I remember any new tips, and probably will change the top of the comment so you don’t have to open the whole comment to check. (Never mind, guess that was already thought of lmao.)

Supposedly there're two safe spots from Nightmarionne on the very left and right of the screen, roughly placed somewhere in the middle of either side. Hotkeys to Middle Far-Left and Middle Far-Right could help here
For Phone Guy, if there's (theoretically speaking) only a set number of places the "Mute Call" button can be, you might be able to hotkey to them (though, if that's true, that would require a lot of clicks in rapid succession). Note that this is just a theory, I have no idea if it actually has a set routine for button placement
Funtime Foxy would need to be checked on the hour every hour, but given the counting-while-blindfolded issue, maybe you could set a timer for every 43 seconds or so as an auditory warning
Toy Freddy is a bitch. "i HaVe ThEsE fAt PlAsTiC fInGeRs AnD cAn'T pReSs ThE bUtToNs!!1!" Just get a bigger keyboard then, ffs man. The only solution I can think of involves coding other elements into the game (like adding an alert sound for Mr Hugs that differs depending on the door and removing the camera movement).
Happy Frog is content to just stick near the audio lure (as you've already said). Having a hotkey for a spot on the vent map would be ideal. The lure also nabs Pigpatch and Mr Hippo (supposedly) 100% of the time, although Nedd Bear and Orville would need the heater still
As a vodder it’s crazy how Spiff managed to blaze to 8,000 before hitting what feels like a glass ceiling trying to get any higher, but I’m nothing if not a viewer with faith in the Spigg endurance!
There’s nothing like opening TH-cam and seeing a fresh almost hour long video from Spiff that I can already tell from the name and the thumbnail alone is going to be FANTASTIC😌

I know this is an older video but rewatching this reminds me of the setup me and my friend managed to play with
We called it the Multiplayer UCN mode where I had the keyboard and she had the mouse, and thats when we learned most threats with the keyboard are all audio threats- it ended up with me barely watching the screen and her not caring about audio cues at all, I highly suggest trying it because it is INCREDIBLY chaotic (as long as you dont add Nightmare BB, that one just fucks up your runs)

Also a side note for ventilation resets, you could technically get the muscle memory for the button by putting your cursor in the bottom right
