Yesterday they finished the Europe Tour but so far this song wasn't part of the setlist.
This was the 1st single out of five released in October 2022, part of the new album "The Other One" released later in March 2023 and is totally a banger. SuMetal got the lyrics credits on this and all of us are proud and happy she reached one of her dreams. She totally rocks!❤️

_Trascending many barriers and creating many legends, where will BABYMETAL head next? The power and dynamism of the song depicts a cavalry preparing for their future battle._
"Divine Attack - Shingeki" got some drum&bass combined with the heavy riffs of metal sound.
They're giving us a new lore and a metalverse with 10 different worlds and songs that are connected in this concept album.
We can say that this song carry the spirit and message of songs like Road Of Resistance but this is more like a call to arms and fight for your future.
This footage was taken from BabyMetal Begins - The Other One Clear Night, PIA Arena MM, Yokohama in April 2nd, the Black Night took place in April 1st and you can see that clip in MAYA official live MV. This was the first night with MomoMetal as the new official member, the night prior to this they're wearing the old battle dress from Metal Galaxy era while in this you can see them with the new iridiscent costume. MomoMetal (Momoko Okazaki) was one of the three avengers (or backup dancers part of the lore) since 2019. We all proud of MomoMetal being finally part of this group.
The backing band at PIA Arena MM was the West Kami Band and after that they didn't stop playing along with them.
There is an official visualizer with the album studio sound released the same day in October and you can see only the two of them back then, these new shows on DVD/BD they're promoting are part of this historical event when MomoMetal was crowned as the third official member.

Yes! The intro is incredible, teasing the song's orchestral bits. It sets the perfect atmosphere for the rest of the song. So, good job choosing this one.
"Divine attack" is a great song, well structured, elegant, with a smooth drive, cool drum & bass parts, nice orchestral touch, some heavy riffing and, of course, Su-metal's amazing vocals. Not to mention that she is credited for the lyrics on this one for the first time. That's a really big achievement for her and (in her own words) a "dream" and "a final goal in life".

I used to have to wake up ridiculously early for practices, I swear this song is the only thing that kept me motivated and awake some days... in fact, Babymetal kept me sane 😭🤣
Nice reaction. This is a special song for 3 reasons.
It marked the return of Babymetal after the hiatus, it marked Su's first writing credit and it also showed they were not trapped by kawaii-metal.
It's an unusually structured song. It has the opening riff halfway through the song, and where there should be a breakdown or a solo there is a dave gilmore like clean guitar riff with a Prodigy like beat behind it. Which shows BM also experiment with structure as well as genres.
Nice reaction. Love this song. First release from the Other One album. For me some of their songs are about joining them on their Road of Resistance. But this song is the opposite. This is them supporting us as we go are own way. Babymetal will always be there for you. They're so humble and supportive. Not just of each other but of their fans as well. I hope they do more songs like this one. It has a real drive to it. and Moa harmonies. Which means now we can have Moa and Momo harmonies when they perform this live. Wooh Wooh. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

Great reaction! This is my favorite song off "The Other One" album, which is their most recent album. This was also the first song that they released. I remember we were all in shock because this was nothing like anything they made before. 🤘🦊🤘

Divine Attack is an awesome song, and this was an awesome performance that I was fortunate enough to be there to see live. It's kind of a shame that they don't play it live very often, as it's only been performed live ten times.
Awesome guys! This is such an incredible song and performance. Even more so since Su-metal was the lyricist here!
Also, their newest album, “The Other One” is an amazing album of modern metal styles, and blends metal and pop seamlessly. Just amazing!

Hi guys another great reaction, I’ve been a big Babymetal fan part of ‘The One ‘ from day 1 of BM I love them they are fantastic, been to 2 BM concerts.
Love the catalog. But the songs off the latest album especially live are fire. It just feels more mature and I think fits with them better at their current age. It's kind of hilarious seeing these now mid-twenties women performing "gimme chocolate" .

I think your sentiments mirror many others. Babymetal has always been wonderful. But somehow the maturity and power in Su's voice in particular really "matches" the metal in a way it couldn't before. Definitely different flavors of wonderful. But I'm with you the new songs are such awesome bangers.

I chose this song to play while I Was going on stage to get my Abitur certificate. (right befor the start of the thierd chourus 2:20 in the studio version) EVeryone had some pop or rap song so everyone was quite suprised when mine started playing put it was sooo epic. Needles to say that Devine Attack is one of my favourite songs from Babymetal.
