Peter Beckett's lead vocals and lead guitar playing are amazing! Great harmonization by the band! It has a funky feel too! A BIG #1 smash for Players! A wonderful song from 1977...brings back so many fond memories!
Bless you Connie - I know - it is absolutely fantastic isn't it? As you can see I am determined to bring back the 70s gently - I have a 60s/70s/80s playlist which is growing slowly as my playlist is 'very' broad to make it inclusive as possible to a wider audience- this gives people a chance to hear 'real' music and music they have perhaps never heard and a lot are loving it. Onwards and upwards for my channel. Thank you so much for your support. have a wonderful weekend and may it be everything you would wish for and more. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️🌹✨
This song 1. is the epitome of that 70's sound 2. It's just a fantastic song about being wrong, admitting it and begging for another chance 3. DAMN they were good? classic and raw talent
Wow thanks for that information. It's like the other 70s band The 'Average White Band' -they were Scottish. A lot of people thought they were Black and from the 🇺🇸 US. And Christine McVie who wrote and sung with Fleetwood Mac - I believe she was Scottish too. Its good that this kind of info is surfacing. Educational and inspiring. Thanks Eduardo. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️🌹
@@psycheinc-theSLC check out a band from the 70's called "America" the members we Americans and British, They had hits like "Horse With No Name" and "Ventura Highway" and many more.
Yes I liked it very much‼️ this song is very special to me and I have never tired of hearing it since it first came out. Thank you for this selection today Psyche🌹. Blessings sent your way✌️✨💫🌟
Hello dear Harriet, thanks very much for checking in. Hi Timothy, lovely to see you - Ooh I feel dreadful at the moment, but you've made me feel like a Queen now - so thank you very much 😁🌹x - my poor little head is spinning - tired! Thank you so much for turning up and your unwavering support - just so kind Timothy. I'm really doing this my own way and don't want to be like anyone else so mixing it up! So glad you like it. So glad yo liked it - I pick all the songs, and people are getting it and liking it now. I am being inclusive of as much tastes as possible. This is a fabulous track. 🌹🙋🏽♀️✨
Music around that time was really put together well. I mean they had so many things incorporated in the music. Today music feels pretty...well I mean it feels like songs today are mostly made by one or two people and made on a budget while the rest of the budget goes towards marketing the song. Very complex compositions back then and yes, back in the day no one could fake it till they made it. Everyone had to be a great singer. Heck back in the 60's and earlier even the actors had to be able to sing and dance. Oh and one thing I always notice in songs or film is when I hear a singer say "anythin". Right away it tells me they're British. No American ever says anythin'. Just something I notice.
This is a STUNNING set of comments. I will definitely pick this out and give you a shout out which will be a first for me channel. Seriously wonderful points. Fantastic - I couldn't have said it better myself. Wow. ❤🙋🏽♀️ x
@@psycheinc-theSLC Woah, thanks! I comment a lot on reaction-music videos and rarely ever get much of a reply, so I appreciate it for sure. I listen to a pretty wide range of music but mostly country. I'm a Texas guy so I know a lot of stuff that most people never get to hear. Let me know if you ever want to hear anything, like a certain style, mood, era etc. I just know a lot of songs. haha
My Dear...Led Zeppelin live 1973 Madison Square Garden. They were as influential as the Beatles were to the 60’s. They influenced the 70’s, and beyond. Every hair band of the 80’s were trying to be them...but sadly there was only one Led Zeppelin.
Oooh I luv this they sound like hall and oats or is that the other way round ... you've great taste in music one of my all time faves this ... thanks for the review x
This wasn't the video I was searching for, but I took one look at the lady and thought yo myself she's the real deal, only after part of the video I'm posting this and I can see it in her eyes ❤
Interesting note here: one might think that the most significant line in the song for the woman to hear was “I just can’t live without you.” That would be incorrect. Ask any woman today what the most important line that the girl heard here was, and the answer is as simple as three words. “I WAS WRONG” Hearing those words from a man probably a first.

1. Baby Come Back
2. When She Comes Back Blame It All On Her
Both are timeless Player classics!
This great song number one 3 straight weeks in the U.S. and only hit number 30 in the U.K. go figure
Old school is the best

What a great couple of decades...the 60’s and 70’s will never be duplicated! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
100% true. We need to rewind to that and start 'again' back to basics. Music has kind of lost its way a bit!
