I have to say, this is one of the most original ideas I’ve seen in a while. I use Eurorack as an inspirational playground to start song ideas. This looks like it has that same exact mission. Very cool.
I had been toying with getting into Eurorack for the longest time. This was what pushed me over the edge and I'm getting one ASAP. Not a terribly useful module for a nearly blank rack, but I don't mind. It's worth supporting.
Genuinely blown away at the value proposition you have created for us, mine arrived today, I was not expecting a genuinely nicely printed premium feeling manual and little treat being included, thank you so much!
That's dope AF. I want to throw all the moneys at you, I just don't have any. Doing this at cost (ABSOLUTE LEGEND) earned you a sub, at the very least. I wish I could buy 2 or 3, because generative modular breakcore speaks to my soul. A melding of moon and machine. I wish you well.
Bro you’re a G! Soon as these are back in stock I’m gonna buy at least a couple. The concept of aligning music with the moon or other planets and with the Schumann Resonances has been my active project for quite some time now, this is the perfect accompaniment to that goal. Thank you
What a novel idea for a module. It seems to lean into the "now" aspect of modular/eurorack (once the patch is gone so is the music) I love the design too :)
I was looking at this admiring how charming it was and how it was a really neat idea, but yanno, I dont need to be spending a bunch of money on super niche modules that I dont really *need* per se. Then I saw it cost $35. So anyway, mine should be arriving in 3 to 5 weeks. Ive been trying to make a new patch every day this year, and this will be great at helping to facilitate that.
haha yes yes, made that mistake early on with prototypes, my friend was like "dude you know there's lead in all of your stuff" since then everything, pcb, faceplate, etc. is all lead free HASL, all lead free solder used in assembly, no cross contanimatino, full ROHS type deal
there's a small real time clock powered by a cell battery inside - just like a wristwatch, comes with battery, and you can change it yourself. but should last a few years each, just like a wristwatch
Why there are two clock inputs? Maybe for self patching right? Also how are you going to be sustainable selling at cost? It looks like you don't even factor in the cost of your time manufacturing it. Congrats on the launch!
Jonah! I want one of these and you better hit me up when you have more damnit! hahahah we are friends on facebook and im going to harrass you every day until i get one haha
Wow. So like, I see there's an actual clock inside, are the rhythms pre written and then loaded? or is it some kind of algorithmically generated thing? Very cool stuff bro. I want one for sure.
This is a fascinating module! I assume there's a real time clock in there handling things? Also, kind of an unrelated question, when you patch channel B into the hat sample the first time, it was triggering some accent sounding stuff. Was that just something you had configured on the Squid Salmple? I'm not super familiar with that module.
yep, and yep - that's just some squid salmple random sample triggering which I had left on in the high hat and forgot about - I realize that it's slightly confusing - the module in fact only outputs gates, not any variable cv or accents
@@jonahsenzel7307I thought that might be the case. Can you weight random sample changes or something? It sounded like it was only changed every now and then.
I love the creativity of this module. Just picked one up today!
Congrats on the awesome little friend
Modules like this is what eurorack was created for. /salute

Rogue-like moon-based Eurorack module is a brilliant description!

I love the design too :)
The concept of this synth module is Very clever and astronomically oriented!!
This is so cool. Congrats man!
Very inspiring concept for other synth builders. This is really neat :)
This has to be one of the most creative modules I've ever seen. Amazing work!
This is such a sweet module! Much love for your DMG scores! Loved Inscryption! Can’t wait to grab one of these
Truly amazing, love this all around. Can’t wait to pick one up.
Really, really neat idea! Suggestion: a fluid change of beat; marginally progresses over a day.
super affordable and out of stock already. I want one. This might be the most outwardly creative module I have seen yet.
That's really clever (!)
Because if you don't like the rhythm, you're stuck with it for 24 hrs.
Yay !
I love how creative eurorack people are
Wow. That jam with the volca/Op1 ❤
Missed getting one at KC-2023 last weekend.
suitably and perfectly bonkers
I want you to know that I constantly walk around the house singing the why we bleep theme song like an idiot
@@jonahsenzel7307 😂thanking you retrospectively
so glad to grab one just now, so, so fantastic.
Love this little guy. Beautiful thing.
What a cool module! Big fan of the concept lol
Just ordered two. Congrats - this is brilliant!
very cool, this is what eurorack is all about. gotta get me hands on one
Just placed an order for one!! I can't wait 🙌
Got mine today, thanks so much. beautiful thing
Ordered!
Love this idea.
Can’t wait. I’m on the mailing list - thanks for your creativity. Can’t wait to see what wacky sh!t you come up with next!

This is so incredibly clever!
what a novel idea for a module!
This is so inspiring. I must have it!
way way way lush at the end! - keep using your powers for good
Love this concept! Can’t wait to get one.
3:54 was a BOP
I love the concept and design! I hope you ordered lead-free HASL on that panel!

@@jonahsenzel7307 Have you considered ENIG? Could look really sleek
Well thats bloody clever, a cv version for melodies would be cool too
incredible work
This is neat! cool concept.
This is fantastic!
This is really cool.
amazing, i neeeeeeed this
Damn new video after 5 years!!!
Oh HELLLLLL yeah 😩😩
This is cool as hell
hell yes. i barely understand it and i love it
i love this
cool concepts.. plz can you send this to an E.U. webshop?
Pretty f***ing cool!
Love this
Physically forcing several people who *love* the Shin Megami Tensei series to look at this module and listen to the examples. Holy shit.
So cool!
love it but never in stock :(
Really cool idea! Too bad I missed the opportunity :)
How weird and quirky. Fuck yes.
wow this seems more complex than enigma. I think you could turn this into an endcoder ring system also.
This is so cool!!
this is magical as fuck and i want it
Is there anywhere I can read about the algorithms?
It's diffrent I'll give you that! Not sure I'd have the patience!!
I guess I just do not understand. I can do that on my old Sequencer I use to run my Modules.
When will these be back in stock?
How does this module keep track of time when the power is off?
there's a small real time clock powered by a cell battery inside - just like a wristwatch, comes with battery, and you can change it yourself. but should last a few years each, just like a wristwatch
dope dope dope
Engagingly weird- and I’m a sucker for moon phases (in Eurorack!). Sold- in due course.
Just ordered- woo!
neat! want one now
Well this is neat. ^_^
SALMPLE?
31 days? So not the real lunar cycle, then?

I'll pay $45-$50. Have bookmarked the site, how do I order?
love
So cool
Nice little module! Wondering how you keep it at sync without power, is there a 'lifetime' small battery/capacitor in there?
Yes, it has a watch battery.
Where and when can i get it? 🤩
Do you have any ETA on when you might be distributing these? This looks like a really fun module to play with
first batch is sold out, I'll be making a second batch as soon as possible, hopefully be ready in several weeks
@@jonahsenzel7307 Where would I sign up to get one of the second batch?
petrock.site @@Xalnop
Jonah! I want one of these and you better hit me up when you have more damnit! hahahah

The only possible comment is "yes please!"
Yes yes
i love pete rock (no relation)

Because rhythms are so hard to create.
Good beat
Great idea,,I want one ASAP...GAS again....
This is brilliant!
