Twins is only one ghost that has two ranges of interactions, one "normal" and one "extended." If it chooses to hunt from the normal range, it will be the fast "twin." Likewise, if it chooses from the "extended" range, it will be the slow one. As someone else somewhat pointed out, it can randomly choose between the two ranges each time it hunts, though it's less likely to choose a single range over and over and over like it did to you; possible, but less likely. Also note that the two ranges aren't just for hunting. The ghost can interact with items (like throwing things or flipping light switches) from either range and it's ability (twin-teractions) allows it to interact from *both* ranges in quick succession.

I got 3 back to back Mares and the first 2 did it’s ability the second I turned on the light on it’s room
they should make it so one of the difficulties makes it so the battery in the flashlight dies after time and a goast can make it die faster or blow the globe in the light
