Just got mine in the mail today. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U The corners of the box was a little smashed but I think that’s more of the shipping’s fault. iPad was in perfect condition though. I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.
I’m going to break that screen for sure! I was quoted 75 bucks to replace it. Sounds cheap to me!
This is an incredibly detailed guide! I have done a full ipad screen replacement in the past and Had i the time to do this repair it would be invaluable, insta subbed!

$130 at my local repair shop to replace this charge port. New (refurbished) one on Amazon is $200 🤷♂️

Hi, i got a swollen battery that wont charge ect BUT also the touch is playing up. Can bad battery ever effect touch? or do i have a bad M/b too? I could jump power to the connector and try with nominal voltage but every time other ipad i have worked on when touch stops or is trouble, m/b chips ect are too blame. Ask what you think?

Halfway through the video and I already know I can’t pull that off😱
I can’t even solder big and bulky stuff together.
The solder never seems to want to stick to the surface I heated and instead I have to melt it on the tip of the Iron and rub it on the material.
So this kind of Micro-Soldering is just Not happening👎
Only 4 years Old tablet with that problem tho…SuperGreen 😡.

I tried it and pulled off a some pads.😒 Make sure your soldering skill ain't rusty like mine.
Which pads did you pull off mate?
This is a difficult repair, I would recommend not attempting this unless you have a good amount of experience soldering. Or of course if you can afford to mess it up.
Exactly my situation , good to know on my sons old ipad which we are replacing anyway.
So basically I just need to buy a new iPad 😅

Hi. I don’t know how TH-cam displays on other things, but if you’re using an iPhone you can use the bolt in the upper right (next to “cc”) to open a control panel, and Playback Speed to slow down or speed up. I hope that helps.
