@muzykawraju Thanks for posting. This a most charming performance I will surely listen with some regularity. I'm not a musician at all, but I feel Couperin has a special gift to make his music introspective, intimate and solemn at the same time. There are other recordings of this suite in TH-cam and I wonder why they are considerably longer. Is it a matter of speed (cedence) or just edition?
@@manonpapasergio6846 Thanks to you! One hardly ever gets an answer from artists and you DEFINITELY do deserve being called an artist. Best wishes for your career, Manon!
It is a pleasure to listen to you. I am nearly obsessed with this piece and really love the intimacy of the tiorba making the continuo part. I wonder if you are improvising it! As a cellist myself I've been trying to make some reduction for cello and guitar (im constantly wondering how it would work). In the case you have a developed basso you are playing with, did you compose yourself? I wouldn't mind to buy it! Congratulations!
A beautiful piece of Couperin and an awesome performance, thanks for sharing!
Tão lindo que a alma vibra! 💖
Une des plus belles sonates pour viole de gambe de l’école française merveilleusement interprétée par ces deux artistes. Vraiment bravo.

Thank you for your kind comment ! The suite is not entire here, we didn’t play the last movement (Passacaille). This is why :)

Thank you for your kind comment ! Gabriel is improvising the realisation of the basso continuo, according to the figures on the score. :)
