The best thing I've found for raccoons is granular fly bait and a little coke in a dish. They will be peacefully sleeping about a foot away. Just make sure that there aren't any other animals that you want peacefully sleeping if they get into it.

Once upon a time, a little bit of Furadan mixed with some ground corn would take care of both rodents and pigeons (feathered rodents). But alas, such remedies are not available now. The carcasses didn't even smell after they succumbed to the treatment. 👍

Andy speaking of replacing broken knives I was outside mowin the lawn and I happened to be looking down to make sure the guard was still in place and I happened to notice the Spindle on the far left side of the mower was acting like it was a bit off balance so I just dismissed it as my eyes playin tricks on me so the next time I noticed it I just dismissed it again but on the third time I finally decided to shut the deck off and get off the tractor and check the situation out. So i reached my hand under the deck to see if the one of the blades was slipping I even checked the nut that holds the blade on and that felt fine so I just dismissed it again then when my father went out to start mowin I heard something that sounded like it broke but he and I had no clue what the Heck it was so he had me take the mower off and we loaded it in the back of the truck and he took it to a couple of different dealers one of which was the dealer that we bought it from. So they took a look at it and come to find out one of the almost all the Spindles had shit the bed so he priced out a brand new mower and what it was going to cost to get the old one fixed it was going to cost more to get the old one fixed so he just bought a brand new one not to sure what the lesson was supposed to be I'm thinking maybe we should have done some digging or called the dealer.
If you can get a part number for the spindles, just plug that into a search engine. Or, just enter the make and model and "Parts." You might be able to find what you need to fix it your self, especially if the rest of the machine is worth saving.

I am not a farmer. that being said. I do not have a problem with skunks. They did up my lawn looking for grubs. I am not afraid of them. if you walk around at night, they are docile. The holes they dig allow native species of plants to take root. As far as the squirrels. I have an old rescue farm cat that loves a good squirrel.

Red led headlamp, bees can't see it, I used on with a 12 inch hornets nest and not one came after me, that was with cutting the side of the nest open.
We don’t even know where the nest is we just seen hundreds of them flying around up there
