@@MrSlvr2000 They definitely have to change that or nobody is going upgrade their ships. Or offer different kinds of insurance. Like full coverage, coverage of certain parts for an extra payment, or just the base ship. But it doesn't even matter since the game will never release anyway 💀
@@JohnnyDoom Currently they stay.....from my understanding they are covered under the hypothetical "insurance". In the future I can see them changing this.
@@MrSlvr2000I can't figure out why they think players losing their load outs after getting blown up, is a good or fun thing. I bought armor from the pledge store and lost it after a ship explosion to an invisible wall. I get the realism thing. But, I'm not trying to grind out, every single time I die. Seems crazy to me. Maybe it's just me.
@@Randaddy25 No no no don't worry it's very common practice in alpha testing stage games to have you grind for any minor in-game commodity instead of providing players/backers/investors/testers (well okay, usually these aren't the same people) with means to entirely and thoroughly experience, benchmark and provide feedback on the -alleged- game systems and mechanics.

@@MauroQenkGamer thanks for the comment!
Does your upgrades carry over after the ship is destroyed and/or after patches?
After it's destroyed yes, but not between patches. When insurance comes out you will have to have it to keep your upgrades.

After I equip my module, it disappears immediately and I have to equip it again, duration loop.
Now I no longer have a mining laser
@@DerSmily it's buggy as hell right now
If I buy these components and then manage to instantly blow myself up - does it all disappear like gear/storage or is it persistent after death?
