Did u notice Kathy Bates? She is really thrilled.
But Al did not give a simple kiss to Foster. Allienated?
@@napoleonhondrogiannis5760 His girlfriend was in the audience...what did you want him to do?
Al Pacino deserved to win an oscar in 1983 too.
Al should have at least 5 oscars. He is a great actor.
Downey, eastwood, pacino, denzel, steph rea....
What a scary nominees!
The academy jury must've been stressed to choose the winner!
Nope...all were best...but for them Al Pacino is there icon or Godfather and Al deserved it.
@@ankitojha4593 ,he made an offer which the jury couldn't refuse.
Yeah, everyone's heard of the great Stephen Rea! lol
HN YS Denzel “wasn’t at his best back then”? YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!
@@adamzanzie Yeah. I don't think they actually watched Malcolm X.
And Chaplin is one of Robert Downey Jr's best performances.
One of the only man that his beard makes him apparently younger
Keanu Reeves exists.
@@darkriff777 lol nice one
He was growing beard, cause he was filming Carlito's Way.
He still undercover, too bad he ain't wearing a nun outfit
@@yahiryellow1 Nuns don't work on Sundays
Robert Downey Jr was incredibly in Chaplin, but what a line up of performances that was! The Crying Game? Wow! Malcom X? Wow! Needless to say i've watched Unforgiven about a hundred times!
He's one of the greatest actors ever! He should have a lot more Oscars! He makes every movie come to life!
I just cannot wrap my head around the fact that Al Pacino only won ONE Oscar. How is that even humanly possible
I think he won one more. I don't really remember the year but u can search for it.
Джасур Мирхалилов nope just one. I think the academy has it against him cause for The Godfather, he boycotted the Oscars that year cause he was insulted at being nominated for supporting actor and not lead actor so who knows maybe the academy doesn’t like him or something
Oscars don't make a good actor
@@chimrichalds9716 Well, he was right then. He was clearly the protagonist.
I've thought that a lot too. And then I looked up the list of his British Academy awards. It more than makes up for it. :-)
"The Godfather," "Scarface," "Serpico," "Carlito's Way." He had potential. A lot of potential.
Dog Day Afternoon, SO MANY MORE!
Don't forget his first: Panic In Needle Park. Great movie.
@@billviola7884 loved that film, he was great from the start.
for real. dog day afternoon was one of his best too, must watch.
A Dog Day's Afternoon
Al Pacino doesn’t need an Oscar, he’s the Oscar itself. The Legend and the great of all time
Al and Chris were absolutely fantastic in Scent of a Woman. Wonderful movie
Al Pacino my Favorite Actor, the most humble, intelligent and talented artist in Hollywood history.
He’s a living legend, Viva Al Pacino!!
I find his humility endearing and so precious a trait of his. He is such a good person.
He is my favorite, and the greatest of all actors!
@@elinsandaker332 greatest american actor of all times.
Fantastic! Actor.
He should have just walked up to the microphone and said "Hooaahh!" And walked off.
Bob Gnarley lmao
😂😂
it would be his inequivocal expression of letting out his frustrations after all this time
Perfect!
😂😂😂
One of the GREATEST ACTOR OF ALL Time u sooo deserved 2 win so humble so gracious beautiful story i 2
Am from the south bronx may god bless u and your family u truly have a gift❤
Done watching Scent of a woman...mahn he deserved it 🙌🏾
After not winning Oscar for movies like
Godfather, Scarface , Dog Day Afternoon.
You can clearly see his disappointment at 0:27 , he wasn't expecting this one for sure :(
Exactly. Lol. His expression was like "omg. This is so stupid".
Serpico, ...And Justice for All
bruh he didn't even get nominated for scarface. I mean, WTF??!!
Scarface wasn‘t a good movie or at least it wasn’t movie which should have deserved an Oscar.
@@ItachiUchiha-iz7ij wtf
Maybe the most talented actor in history. Hats off to you, Mr Pacino.
Indeed & so is Tom Hanks & C.Eastwood
Daniel day lewis and kevin spacey
De Niro and Pacino
Marlon barando too
Nah, the most talented is Daniel Day Lewis
Who is here after his announcement in 2024 Oscars.
My eyes see openheimer 😂
I love him ❤
Well deserved but how the fuck did he not win the Oscar for Godfather pt2?
Godfather 2
Dog day afternoon
Serpico
Scarface
He deserved Oscar for any/all of these.
all of the godfathers
Glengarry Glen Ross
Carlito's Way
Dont forget carlitos way mannnn
Good call, but I'd replace Scarface with And Justice for All or Carlito's Way.
Also, I loved Glengary Glenn Ross, but it was more of an ensamble film. Pacino was awesome in it, but so were Jack Lemmon, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, Alec Baldwin, etc.
He should have held up the Oscar and said "Say hello to my little friend!"
Missed opportunity 😂
Sharon Jensen ok boomer
😁 !!!!!
@Sharon Jensen you can't take a light joke?
😁👌
Strong year. All those nominated movies were so good.
What a striking speech to go back and listen to. No politics. No race issues. No preaching about climate change or the LGBTQ community. Only a sincere, heartfelt thanks by Pacino for being lucky to have had the desire and encouragement to become an actor at a young age. Imagine that. An actor winning an Academy Award appreciating how fortunate he is to be an actor. It was only 30 years ago, but it seems so genuine and sincere that you would think he was speaking 50 or 60 years ago.
You broke my streak...what a slap on oscars
spot on...
Gave you a like just to hit 1k god bless brother 😂🖖🏽
He looks younger than when he was filming the movie!!!
I noticed that too. Maybe the hair and beard help.
Exactly!!!
He looks ten years younger than he did in godfather part 3, which came out three years before this
He looks younger then he did in scar face which was 10 years before this
@@user-pd9xj1bt4e I agree he looks younger with facial hair!
Al Pacino is a class act ( no pun intended ). He is one of the greatest actors, in Hollywood history. He
so deserved this award for his performance in "Scent of A Woman".
