CORRECTION: As multiple commenters have pointed out, describing the superbonus as "Meloni's superbonus" is rather inaccurate: the superbonus was passed by the Conte government in 2020, and Meloni has actually been one of its most vocal critics. Apologies, and we hope you nonetheless enjoyed the video!

There was a serious lack of any real value for money (VFM) analysis in advance and the tax credits and commitments granted are well beyond the initial figures.
It is not fully appreciated that Italy had for many years prior to Covid ran a primary surplus, which France has not done for a very long time. Of course the next big issue for her Government is adjusting the pension age. Life expectancy at age 65 has bounced back to the pre Covid trend and deaths have fallen further in 2024 by 5.8% for the first five months and 6.5% over 2019. The conditions created by this huge improvement in life expectancy are stark, when viewed under the Fornero reforms. Recent playacting by Salvini etc., cannot stop the pension age moving to 68 or 69 without delay. Though could any Government survive substantially increasing the pension age?

@@Spido68_the_spectator you are spot on: the Italian debt is about 75% in the hands of Italians living in Italy, through bonds and state emissions of obligations.
Italy has high attitude of citizen's savings behaviour compared to most of the other EU nations, as Italians are more prone to loan their money to the stste then to the free market bonds.
If you compare this with the massive 51% of the French debt in the hands of foreigner you see where the real issue is.

This is way different then the case for Grece (31% of which debit was held by Italy) or even France which debt is only at 49% in the hands of the French.

By the glory that I shine and the words in My mouth, I will make it so that all people will come before Me and see the Lightning flash from the East, and I will also come down on the "Mountain of Olive" of the East. Let all come before My throne and see My glorious face, hear My voice and see My works. Let every nation worship Me, let every tongue know Me, let everyone keep faith in Me, and let everyone submit to Me!)
      Almighty God said
I am DOING My WORK in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, and in the EAST, there is no end--outside the RUMBLE CRASH, shaking ALL denominations and sects. It is My VOICE that leads ALL PEOPLE to the PRESENT. I will summon ALL people to be OVERCOMED by My VOICE, to fall into this stream, and SUBMIT before Me, because I have LONG since taken back My GLORY from the whole EARTH and brought it out anew in the East. Who does not DESIRE to SEE My GLORY? Who is not anxiously WAITING for My RETURN? ☀️
WHO does not THIRST for My reappearance? Who does not yearn for My beauty? WHO will not come NEAR the LIGHT? WHO will NOT LOOK at Him BELIEVERS of CANAAN?
WHO does not LONG for the SAVIOR'S RETURN? WHO does NOT WORSHIP the GREAT ALMIGHTY? 🙏💐
My VOICE will GO THROUGHOUT the EARTH; I want in FRONT of the PEOPLE I CHOOSE, to SPEAK MORE WORDS to them. 🙏
LIKE MIGHTY THUNDERS that SHAKE MOUNTAINS and RIVERS, I SPEAK My WORDS to the ENTIRE UNIVERSE and to HUMANITY. That is why the WORDS of My MOUTH become the WEALTH of PEOPLE, and ALL people LOVE My WORDS. LIGHTNING FLASHES from the EAST CONTINUOUSLY to the WEST. My WORDS are such that MAN REFUSES to GIVE them up and at the same time finds them unfathomable, but extols them, all the more. Like a new-Born BABY, ALL PEOPLE are HAPPY and JOYFUL, CELEBRATING the ARRIVAL. THROUGH My VOICE I will bring ALL people BEFORE Me. 🙏☀️
From there, I will FORMALLY ENTER HUMANITY so they will COME CLOSE to WORSHIP Me. By the GLORY that I SHINE and the WORDS in My MOUTH, I will MAKE it so that ALL people COME CLOSE before Me and SEE the LIGHTNING FLASHING from the EAST, and that I have also DESCENT in " Mount of Olives" of the EAST. 🙏
They will SEE that I have been on EARTH for a LONG TIME, no longer as the SON of the JEWS but as the LIGHTNING of the EAST. Because I have long since risen again, and departed from the midst of mankind, and APPEARED again AMONG PEOPLE with GLORY. I have WORSHIPED Him for countless AGES before, and I am also the "baby" that the ISRAELITES REJECTED for countless ages before. Furthermore, I am the very--the--glorious GOD ALMIGHTY in--ALL the PRESENT age! 🙏
LET ALL COME BEFORE MY THRONE and SEE My GLORIOUS FACE, HEAR My VOICE, and SEE My WORKS. This is the ENTIRENESS of My will; this is the END and the PEAK of My PLAN, as WELL as the PURPOSE of My RULE. ☀️
LET EVERY NATION WORSHIP Me, EVERY TONGUE KNOW ME, everyone KEEP the FAITH in Me, and EVERY people SUBMIT to Me! 🙏

I was surprissed, that first Von der Leyen and Meloni were somethink like best friends and changing to enemies now. In EU parlament the same happens like in most EU nations (France, etc.). There is the desire to bolck out any right wing groups from goverment. This is also valid for moderate pro EU rightists like Meloni. The democratic old parties gather on left side to block out any righter ideas from parlaments. This is especially a substancial change in population politics from migration to domestic family and in Green Deal. EU destroys its own industries with harsh CO2 etc. targets. Crashing domestic steel producers etc. etc. and than buying wind turbines from China, where the steel is allowed to be made with heavy coal and nuclear energy usage. This betrays EU europes industry and wealthiness. But this is Left wing fundamentalism, which is fixed, as long the Greens are in goverment in national states and EU parlament too. All righter parties want to abandon this kind of "Green Deal" and recover Europe therewith to industrial competivness against China etc.. But Von der Leyen prefers to continue EU deindustrialisation and population exchange politics in ditching (Pro EU !) Meloni and reinforce a middle left coalition on EU level. The same what happend in France, to keep rightist out of rule. But Le Pen is like Orban etc. heavily pro Russian and anti EU. So Macron was urged to coalate with far Left Parties to avoid Bardela in rule. But this polarisation between Anti EU rightist and Pro EU Leftists is toxic on national and EU stage.

there are two major government spending costs ,one is the 110 bonus for building works on updating aging buildings and the other was the bonus supported by conte for poor unemployed families , the second one added lots into the economy and was hated by Meloni as they said it caused people to avoid working altogether where in fact it meant that all the money given returned via almost immediate spending via local food shops and farmers, the building bonus 110 was immediately corrupted by the wealthier property owners and seemed the major take-up was by that lot first and when the poorer owners took it up the building companies started paying themselves for refunds from the government and risking all to carry it on and collapsing the whole thing as it had already run out of funds due to greedy wealthy very able families taking all the initial fundings

It's important to say that the "ah, they are all bought by the left" talking point is already pretty boring and is only used to shut down opinions that you don't like. The reality is that media freedom has been deteriorating under Meloni's government, and this isn't to say that it was very good before (because it wasn't). I read the report from Reporters without Borders about the media freedom index in 2024 and it doesn't seem Leftist at all.

Still here TV shows interviewd the very journalists who relesead the answers to rate the opponent party, all from La Repubblica, a communist newspaper, plus the left union, not even 1 citizen in the street. What burns to italian leftits? Here: first woman in Italian history to lead the country was produced by the right. After 10years of technical governments led mostly by left, PEOPLE choose the right wing,a catholic and a woman. Soon after her election the direct opponents had to put a woke lesbian (who never worked a day, being the woke son of elitarian industrials) as secretery of the left party (PD) just to fake they still care for women, lgbtq and poors' rights. When you use no democratic methods to measure democracy standards you are just rigging the results, that's the truth people like you, France or EU parlment are scared to address.

It still doesn't matter if we make debt over our own domestic market.
If it's internal debt, it doesn't exist.
Looking at the current public debt about, more than 70% of our debt is Internal Debt. Money we own to OUR institutions and banks.
So nothing that concerns the Europoors.
Moreover, we're still the first country in the EUA to GDP growth with an estimated 0.9% next year, still slowed dow by inflation and by the recession of Germany. We trade a lot with them and thanks to Europe and America, we have almost lost two of our major economic partners: Russia and Germany. Good kove Euro-Americans! Cripple the affairs of others for no reason except looking good. 👍
Still, while the national GDP is between 0.6-0.9% between this year and the next, some regions have reached 1% and more of growth.
In short words: the Economy of Italy could actually be quite good if not excellent if we don't have such dead weights as allies like the European Union and America.
The major reasons for our situation of weakness is indeed the actions of our allies that, if it's true that sometimes they pay back some money to us after we invested billions and billions in this clownish union, it's also true that they have always acted in such ways to cripple our economy.
2011 - War in Libya: Italy loses it's favorable position as major economic partner of Libya about oil and gas.
2014 and later 2022 - war in Ukraine, EU imposes sanxtions to Russia. Billions of Euro are lost in trade exchange with Russia without even counting oil and gas.
Counting only food exchange, in the first months after the sanctions, we lost 52 billions Euro of profits thanks to this bullshit.
Then there are of course the consequences. We have to spend a shitton of money just to fix problems of France, UK, America... Migrants was made by them, but those who have to carry out and welcome most of the migrants are always us.
And that weights on the budget.
Our Armed Forces was busy in such activities and still are relatively able to operate while sparing money. That's the reason why we roughly spend per year 1 billion euro just to carry out our military missions abroad.
And again: all of them are missions we made to help EU, UN and NATO.
I mean, it's good to be part of such organizatio s and institutions, but if we have to pay for all while other do nothing and yet at the end of the story the wilde majority of the media still mocks us and try to make look countries like France, UK and Germany as "shining examples of virtues"... I call that "fraud" just because I won't call it "bullshit".
I tell you that, if right now we leave the UE, there will be nothing to keep this joke stand on its feet.
That's how's important Italy right now. And that's why Von der Leyer still supports us.

When Greece collapsed other nations had to chip in. They don't want Italy to collaps. Therefore these budget rules are there. Italy has no direct war or huge crisis and yet has a huge deficit. It's not sustainable. If you want to be in the EU you sort of have to agree with the rules. Otherwise you need to go out of the EU. Nothing wrong with that.
