Basically, Tony got all of San Francisco addicted to an Extremis virus that gave them idealized, perfect bodies and charged them for more once it wore off. When Daredevil confronted him about it, Tony used the virus to briefly restore his sight and responded with the aforementioned line when Matt called him out on playing god.

Just to let you guys know especially Eric the Endosym was the next in line since with the Extremis suit only the skin suit was kept under his skin and in his hollowed out bones while he would using a combination of technopathic and magnetic powers to latch the armor pieces onto the skin suit, then the Bleeding Edge armor was an upgraded form to the Extremis armor which was completely kept under his skin, and finally the Endosym armor was created by Tony in Superior Ironman issue #1 when Tony was fascinated by the abilities that symbiotes possessed and when he acquired a piece from Agent Venom (Flash Thompson) he then genetically modified it to remove its weaknesses to heat and sonic based attacks and the suit could either be stored under his skin or morph itself into any kind of clothing Tony wants but yeah there's some bit of info for you guys but yeah keep up the great work and please react to Gundam Epyon vs Tigerzord.

Well the thing is Lex mainly had to fight Superman so that’s what he built his suit and prepared specifically for. If he built one specifically for Iron man and prepared for him he would have stood more of a chance and maybe even won. I mean he lasted pretty long without a suit like that.

Actually, the suit you were thinking of wasn’t the EXTREMIS suit. You were the thinking of the upgraded version of it called the Bleeding Edge Suit. Think of the nanotech suit from Infinity War, only better, and that’s the Bleeding Edge Suit. However, the Endo-Sym Armor is pretty comparable, plus they didn’t mention all of its capabilities. Tony can actually call excess material for the armor to come to him and enlarge the suit, turning it into basically another Hulkbuster. And neither are his most powerful suit.

Oh come on, the location is irrelevant in this fight. They basically nerfed Tony just to make the fight more entertaining. If anything, Tony should have just started with Endo-Sym abd stomped from the get go. Why else do you thinj he would start with an inferior suit when he has Endo-Sym?
Screw Attack must have realized how short this much anticipated Death Battle would be and prolonged it by practicaly nerfing Tony initially. Tony winning has nothing to do with location or having multiple suit. His current and most advanced suit, Endo-Sym alone was more then anything Lex could handle.

its part of the formula that is used in most fights, Dragon Ball Z is a prime example of it, you start characters off with them at their lowest and gradually reveal themselves to be more and more powerful than initially thought, while the villains is just straight up at max power or at a level were they are too powerful for the other characters to handle (I should also mention that sometimes when the 'hero' does gain the upper hand the villain will also reveal that they weren't really using all they got). Its a predictable formula but nonetheless a bad one

It took me a little bit, but that is NOT a Wing Gundam in the background. It is, in fact, the RX-78-06 Gundam Mudrock; basically, a Gundam built from leftover parts and given shoulder cannons (noticeable when it collapses here.) It never appears in animation but shows up in some extra material and the game Zeonic Front for the PS2.

Also, remember that these death battles are Screw Attack’s opinions. No matter how much research they do, they can’t account for everything. Example: They put Cloud Strife into a death battle with no healing material. What rpg player goes into battle without a healing spell when everything is available to them?

So neither characters should have healing items.

vtech325 I'm not talking about healing items like potions. I'm talking about healing spells.
In Final Fantasy 7, spells are obtained via items called materia. A cure materia is easily obtained early in the game. Its obtained in the very first town you go to. The very first place you can buy materia, you can cheaply buy a cure materia along with fire, blizzard, and thunder. These are 4 of the most basic materia/spells in the game. You don't get more bare essentials than these.
Any character in the game is able to use the cure materia and cast the cure spell which is the most basic of healing spells in the game. In earlier FF games, certain characters and classes do certain things. Your white mage is your healer. Your warrior is your attacker. In FF7, every character can be a healer and still be a strong attacker. They chose the materia themselves. No rpg player would send a character capable of learning healing spells into battle without any healing spells. That would be like sending Lex Luthor into battle against Superman without any kryptonite. That's just stupid and begging to lose.
There is a difference between giving the character the bare minimum, and giving them useless stuff. in my oppinion, they gave Cloud some (not all) useless materia. But hey, that's just my opinion. As I said in my first post, the Death battles are Screw Attack's opinions. Calculated as they may be, it is still their opinion. In my opinion, Cloud would have had a different set of materia. Sorry for the long post.

vtech325 There are many Zelda games I haven't played so I may be wrong about this, but I don't think Link has any healing spells. Healing items, yes, but no spells. Cloud has access to both healing items and spells.
By trying to make the match as fair as possible, they actually end up putting Cloud at disadvantage. Most rpg characters (which Cloud falls into this category) need healing spells if they are going to survive a boss fight. That's just the way it is. No healing guarantees defeat. The only ways of winning without healing are
1) Grind to ridiculous levels higher than the boss.
2) Bring a LOT of friends and overwhelm the boss with numbers.
3) Not get hit by the boss.
None of these options are available in a Screw Attack death battle. Not giving him a healing spell guarantees his defeat.
Besides, they could have given him the cure materia/spell which is one of two of the lowest and weakest healing spells in FF. Combine that with a low to decent mp, to prevent spaming of the spell, it could have still been an even fight. I'm not saying Cloud would have or should have won, but putting him in the fight without cure is to put him in the fight at a disadvantage. Imagine Batman going into a fight without his utility belt. Win or loose, he starts the fight at a disadvantage.
