As a fellow first responder, I’m so glad this is finally being talked about by someone who is not. Not only is it cringey, but very unprofessional. Makes all of us look bad. We have the same problem in EMS. If you want the community to see you as a caring person and protector, involve yourself in the community. STOP MAKING THIRST TRAPS IN UNIFORM 😭
I’m so sorry you have to deal with those kind of influencers. When I graduated high school, literally every single one of the popular mean girls decided to become nurses or elderly caregivers. As soon as I heard what a few of them wanted to do, I knew it was because of their weird power-trip thing they had going on all throughout school. Even now whenever I accidentally see their Reels on my fyp, they’re actively making fun of elderly people and patients ☹️ One girl who casually called me slurs back then now typically posts short ‘rant videos’ about how successful she is and how disgusting/repulsive her patients are. Like THATS YOUR JOB
It's a misguided attempt to connect with their community probably, that's likely what their bosses think of the tiktoks, it's lazy so it's not working. The cops where I am do it from time to time but they aren't too popular, and then like 6 years ago a cop got fired because he was bringing a Crack dealer in, and the dealer still had his phone and live streamed to Facebook that the cop willingly gave him a lift to a known Crack den so the dealer could buy Crack, and the police officer did nothing but drop him off and pick him up to bring the dude HOME. Not to jail, HOME.
Don’t even get me started on the NYPD officers in the subway diddling around on their phones, not doing anything to stop REAL ACTUAL crime, being dicks over turnstile hopping a $3+ fare, and then still getting more funding
A lot of them have a hard time with relationships because of their job being so dangerous and they're not there all the time the house and it's pretty stressful. They see a lot of things that traumatize them too and it causes problems in their personal relationships. I knew somebody that was a police officer who left the police force because it was very hard they couldn't have a healthy relationship they couldn't have a good life and they were constantly stressed. There's nothing like people trying to kill you because you're in uniform when you're actually a good person trying to do the right thing and save lives
@RedSonja301 hey fun fact lots of people have been through trauma, had violent experiences at work, and still don't beat their partners. Stop making excuses for abusers.
Or they tell you to call the sheriff because you're on the county line, but the sheriff tells you to call city police, but city police tell you to call the sheriff...so nobody comes
Law enforcement here! Where I live we definitely aren’t allowed to do shit like this. They don’t even want us to post pictures of us in uniform unless it’s an official picture from getting an award or something (some people do anyway) We definitely aren’t allowed to post thirst traps/fit checks/etc. We literally have a social media policy, about what you can and cannot say and post online. Most of us think it’s cringy and weird and make fun of these people! 😂
OH NO! I just saw the guy doing a whole ass sponsorship!! Bro you definitely absolutely can not do that shit where I am. You will be fired so fast and probably banned from working with any other department.
@@atomic.castlePfft. So a sponsorship can get you blacklisted but all the other fucked up shit they do mostly just gets them moved around? 🙄 Why am I not surprised

That guy that films himself zipping his pants up and not showing any other part of putting on the uniform, that's just ridiculous. Stop filming yourself getting dressed period!!!
It's against many schools' codes of conduct to post a thirst trap while wearing an official jersey, letterman jacket, or merchandise. It can put students at risk of losing their scholarships or their place on teams or in clubs. There was a girl who lost her full-ride scholarship to our university, which was an athletic scholarship because she posted a video on her TikTok dancing with her best friend. It wasn't even a thirst trap, but she wore her volleyball jersey and the song was explicit. That kind of thing happens to people for videos that aren't even that bad, but sure, cops in full uniform who are just fucking around are basically being praised because person in uniform = hot. How does their uniform not violate TikTok's terms of service?
I almost feel bad saying this but as a heavily tattooed person when I see all of these police officers with full sleeves I’m kinda angry. I thought tattoos were for us scumbags! 😂
Yeah I’m confused on how their jobs allow this in the first place. People in non-authoritative positions get let go for way less. And they are literally in uniform, making the department look like a huge joke.
it’s insane that schools even have this rule but then to not put the same rules for law enforcement??? like if ur gonna be an ass it should be the same for everyone but ofc they don’t know anything about equality

You crack me up! As someone who just stumbled upon your channel last week, thank you. I have been binging all of your content and I share your views on pretty much everything, so I already have so much respect for you and I appreciate you. 🖤
I went on a ride along with a cop in high school for a school project and he pulled over at one point and said “this is usually where I stop to play candy crush”
Picture this: you get hit by a cop car while crossing the street because the cop is admiring himself in his rear view mirror. You are rushed to the hospital, but you die because the doctor and nurse are twerking for the camera and forget about you. WTF! The police dog is definitely the main character in this video.
There was a Doctor who lost her medical license because she kept filming tiktok videos while performing surgery, including dancing and reacting to her fans. Yes, she hurt people. You don't even have to picture this shit anymore.
I used to watch a “cop” influencer on youtube. He was a bail bounty hunter or whatever its called and over like a month i stopped because it felt like weird. I didnt know how to describe the feeling cause i was pretty young but now i recognize it was his vibes, the way he spoke about these people, the roughness, recording every second and posting it, being downright disrespectful before even meeting them… like they have tough jobs for sure and people be crazy but that isnt excuse for you yourself to become a problem…
My friend is a supervisor for an ambulance company and he had to have a conversation with an employee to “Please stop filming your thirst trap TikTok’s in the back of our ambulance trucks” 😭
I totally get the pink handcuffs thing. On one hand, I don't want our law enforcement to be a faceless, personalityless horde of untrustworthy soldiers. On the other hand, it feels a lil?? Disrespectful to whoever she's going to handcuff. You don't get to personalize that part of the job, I don't think.
i personally think the personality should show with actual interactions with people and not their equipment/tools. Id say if they want to spice up their outfit they should add hair accessories or pins if its allowed in their area.
It's like pieces of flair at TGI Fridays or whatever restaurant that does that. They got their thin blue line and their punisher logo buttons on their body armor. They got their body cam bedazzled, and they got their pink fuzzy handcuffs to make being arrested more fun and interesting.
@@Izzy711slike please just get some enamel pins or something. Until target workers are allowed to bedazzle their hand scanners, I will be against cops with pink handcuffs 😂

A cop was caught just giving a Crack dealer a ride to and from a Crack den, and the dealer live streamed everything to Facebook so the whole city of like 50k people saw our police help a known dealer pick up a bunch of Crack rocks to sell. it feels like an almost dystopian way to attempt to humanize cops. the problem is, that’s not what anyone wants. off duty, sure. on duty? no. you’re supposed to be a figure of authority.
Just wait until one of those cops has to testify in court and their entire testimony and evidence is thrown out because the defense can question them about their experience and bring in all their cop tok vlogs, and sponsorships, that is why people in positions of authority and serving the community don’t get to vlog while on the taxpayers’ time and dime.
Even now whenever I accidentally see their Reels on my fyp, they’re actively making fun of elderly people and patients ☹️
One girl who casually called me slurs back then now typically posts short ‘rant videos’ about how successful she is and how disgusting/repulsive her patients are. Like THATS YOUR JOB
Weird that other workers at different jobs get fired for being on social media during their shift but cops can…?
exactly
Crazy how those body cams can never manage to be activated, tho.
state sanctioned copaganda
Meanwhile the stats on dating/marrying cops are... not great.
@@RedSonja301booooo people don’t get to beat their wives and kids because of “stress” 💥💥💥

This is how I feel about an ER nurse I know. Always posting when life flights come in, etc. Very distasteful.
Law enforcement here! Where I live we definitely aren’t allowed to do shit like this. They don’t even want us to post pictures of us in uniform unless it’s an official picture from getting an award or something (some people do anyway)
We definitely aren’t allowed to post thirst traps/fit checks/etc.
🙄
Why am I not surprised
You mean they care more when officers do sponsorships than they do murdering an unarmed civilian? That's wild. Not that I condone the sponsorship thing, I'm just always amazed at the priorities.
@@deathbloom27 wtf are u talking about? That's a strawman argument if I ever heard one... 🙄
it’s literally social media copaganda 🤢

That guy that films himself zipping his pants up and not showing any other part of putting on the uniform, that's just ridiculous. Stop filming yourself getting dressed period!!!
these boys getting sloooty these days 😂😂
Like it has nothing to do with the job, man could be going to target too and I’d still beg for him to stop filming himself 😂
Crazy that schools have to write rules like that now 😂😂😂😂
it’s insane that schools even have this rule but then to not put the same rules for law enforcement??? like if ur gonna be an ass it should be the same for everyone but ofc they don’t know anything about equality
Cause it serves the purpose of propaganda
Hey Coop,
Im Ashley, I was fired from my job last week because of my back problems (didnt have any issues at all with my back BEFORE I started that job) and I have been feeling really down. I had to move in with my mom and stepdad because of mental health and financial struggles. At night I take a gummy and I am able to have a moment of peace from all of that, when I watch your videos. You crack me up! As someone who just stumbled upon your channel last week, thank you. I have been binging all of your content and I share your views on pretty much everything, so I already have so much respect for you and I appreciate you. 🖤

Bounty hunters aren't cops
@ thats why i put “cop” in quotes. Cause he called himself one so i was quoting him
The first cop alone is bad enough and I've seen news articles about woman cops posting bikini insta pics and being fired and ridiculed.....
My friend is a supervisor for an ambulance company and he had to have a conversation with an employee to “Please stop filming your thirst trap TikTok’s in the back of our ambulance trucks” 😭
This is why they put my IV in the wrong vein … they to busy filming Tik toks 😮
I would be so embarrassed to film a tik tok in that situation
@ fr
i agree, i feel like she could’ve made something else pink… like maybe whatever she uses to carry her badge could’ve been pink or something. the water bottle was enough tbh..
No matter how relatable, good or attractive they try making themselves look, I'll always be suspicious of every cop thanks to the cop who TRAMATIZED me as a kid by being extremely rough with my 6 month pregnant mom in front of me and my brother while we are screaming crying asking why he was doing this. Best part, the charge she was being arrested for had NOTHING to do with her....
Replace cop with any race, and you’re considered prejudiced. Think about that before you go assuming the worst of every officer.
@@martianman9797 they went through something traumatic, you can't expect them to not be suspicious, especially considering about 40-50% of them abuse their own families. My own dad is a cop and even I know better than to trust every cop.
@ Those stats have been debunked for a while now. It’s been proven to be less than 1%. That’s exactly what prejudice is. And of course you shouldn’t trust every cop, they are just people. But to have an immediate distrust of every cop shows signs of problems within one’s self.
@@martianman9797discriminating against someone because they contribute to a system of violence is different from discriminating against someone because of their race 🌝

I have seen people get into relationships with cops & it was a nightmare. If you and your cop bf get into a DV situation... Who are you going to call.... And of those cops you try to call how many do you think will have your back vs how many will have his? I've heard of cops tracking their SO, having their partners keep an eye on their SO. That is one profession I'd never date into.
Yeah it’s risky!
