I have the Q20 sitdown with the Koala cabinet and love, love, love it. However, this new cabinet looks fabulous. The extra wing on the side and the ability to stand while quilting is perfection.
I got my husband to put wings on the front of my 730 table he made about 8 years ago and I can’t sew without them. They make a huge difference and he’s finishing off my new table for the 880+ with them. Again I have 10” in front of the needle like Philippa Naylor recommends. My suggestion is to make up ~6” squares of covered foam to put under your elbows. You also need some non-slip rubber underneath the squares so they stay in place (a bit). The wings alter how you quilt but that’s fine. I also have a piece of removable perspex in front of the bobbin area so I can see and access it more easily. I miss them when I quilt on the Q20. I hope Bernina bring out a retro-fit for the normal Q20 table along with the rising function.
I just bought the Q20 with this table but when it was delivered, it didn’t have the little extension pieces that attach to the front that are supported by the drawers. Are those pieces accessories or are they part of the table?
Me too Alex I want to upgrade to a frame for my Q20
Beautiful

Love this setup! The original table is beautiful but this one will fit my small sewing space.

Great video. Well done!
Oh my goodness they have improved the table. This wasn't available when I bought my Q20.

it should be included
They need to be purchased separately.
I bought mine too early, I like this table more.
