Awww. Michelle, this was a good one! Thanks for the nudge. Jesus continues to use you and we are grateful.
When you feel like you weren't walking with God........God was walking with you! We fail daily...God doesn't! ❤❤
'while we were still sinners' 💙💙💙💙💙💙
Suga!!!!!❤ I haven't watched in forever.......you have gotten younger.......and you still make me laugh😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 love you.
You’re so sweet! Hope you’re doing well!!
Hi Michelle, You shared a great testimony and I pray others will begin/continue to follow Jesus. The world certainly isn't great now and our only hope is our eternal life with Jesus. Thank you!
It's so great that you have no shame in sharing about Jesus and being vulnerable to share your past mistakes and current struggles! We all need to be bolder in sharing our faith. I'm so thankful you've continued to podcast. I look forward to seeing all you're doing, whether it's cards, knitting, talking about Jesus, etc!
Thank you Wendy ❤️
Wow Michelle. I absolutely love that you shared your story about your walk with God! Your whole body just glowed with your love for Him! He is so, so faithful to bring us back to Him. And I agree with you that it is committing to being in His Word daily that keeps us growing
If you ever get a chance watch the podcast Faith and Knitting. Rhonda also just glows as she shares her faith. YHWH bless you and keep you!
Thank you so much for sharing your walk with Christ. I would love if you keep sharing on your podcast. You are very inspiring. The smile and the glow on your face when you spoke of your Lord and Savior was very inspiring. Your walk with Christ really shows. Again thank you , keep sharing.
Many blessings to you.
Thank you so much!
Thank you four the podcast. The podcast, Ruth Loves to Knit also shares her journey with Christ. A wonderful podcast
Just found your channel. I love Jesus and knitting so you are a great fit for me!
Awesome- thanks for being here! ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. We really do need more christians to stand up and pronounce their faith. My pastor has been feeling very pessimistic lately about the number of people turning away from GOD now. I have tried to tell him that their are many more people than what he thinks that are turning back to GOD and we need to be beacons of hope for them.
Thank you! Keep encouraging your pastor. ❤️❤️❤️
Sending you so much love and hugs. Thank you for sharing your very personal story.
I love your hair! The long hair seems to pull your face down. This lifts your face. Anyway you are lovely. But you must do your hair the way you like it 🌻🌻🌻💕
Thank you for sharing your walk with the Lord!! I appreciate your honesty. God bless you and yours!! ❤❤❤
Great episode! Love your socks and blanket. Thank you for sharing your Walk with Jesus! I grew up Catholic and did all the things but always felt that something was missing. We didn’t have Bible Study or anything like it. As I got older, in my 60’s, I had a yearning to know more. I prayed and asked God to lead me to a Bible Study group that he wanted me to be a part of. My 51 year old sister passed and this made my passion grow stronger. February 2023, a few weeks after my sister passed, I started looking for a group. I prayed to be led to God’s plan for me and Heart Dive-Read the Bible in one year popped up so I started listening and learning. This is my second year with Heart Dive and 2025 will be even better. I’m excited and proud to say that I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. It’s been an amazing journey and I’m so happy to be in it. I am Christian from beginning to end. God Bless you!💜
I really enjoyed listening to you talk about your journey with God. Thanks so much for the resources you mentioned, too! I'm always looking for new ones. :)
It’s so nice to see another podcast episode from you. And I’m saying Amen to your personal story. May God open all of our spiritual eyes to the truth of His Son, Jesus.
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing such a personal story with all of us. ❤
Your cards are lovely.
I love yarn of all colors.
So happy that you podcasted again. Happy to hear that you are knitting more again. I find so much peace with knitting (even when ripping/frogging things). Love all colors. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, so happy that He pulled you back and you stopped resisting. Thanks for sharing your story. I heard you. It helps people to know that God allows U-turns and do-overrs. We all need them. The greatest gift ever!
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing from your heart, God will use it to help others going through what you have been through. ❤
Michelle, I love your hair! Okay, now I will watch the rest of your podcast! 😂❤
Aw thank you 😂
I appreciate you so much. It’s hard to open yourself up like you did. You are so real and honest. Praying for continued healing. Thank God we are forgiven if we just ask and believe. Come Lord Jesus Come!
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for continuing with your podcasting. I think so many of us moms have put our children above our Creator, and I agree it harms them. You were brave to share your story and I want you to know how much it encouraged me. Keep podcasting and I will keep watching
Thank you so much! ❤️
Omg - you crack me up…. I would love to have your nose pin 😀….. I have a new grandbaby girl on the way so could sure use any yarn for her. Good to see you-
@@tessmorton-trask1725 congrats on the new grand baby coming your way!
Oh Michelle, I am virtual hugging you right now!!!! Thank you for sharing your journey. I know without a doubt that God is so loving. Jesus has done things in my life that are mind blowingly awesome, isn't this relationship with Him magnificent to say the least? ❤❤
You did a great job expressing your love of Jesus, it takes courage, we know that He supplied you with it at that exact moment and with exactly the perfect words! Jesus’s timing not ours. God bless you! I don’t know what I would do without my faith and relationship with Jesus. I’m so grateful!
Thanks for sharing your Christian faith and your twisting journey that brought you to the place where you are. I am so proud of the knitting podcasters that are open about their faith. Thank you! ❤🙏
Thank you Linda! ❤️
Love your podcast and especially the personal stuff, including your walk. We moved recently and I can't find my "nose pin". I find it helpful when hand winding a hank of yarn. I have trouble holding the ball when it gets too big. Any pink and/or sparkly. Seriously we would be very good friends.
💜I love purples of all kinds. 😊
Thanks Michelle for sharing your faith. You have an amazing story and I’m so glad you are walking with Jesus. Amen sister!!🙏🏻💕
So nice to visit with you Michelle. Thank you for sharing your experience walking with Jesus. We are so lucky to have Him in our lives. Thank you for sharing the resources you have found and enjoyed with us. God bless you my friend! Big hug and feel better soon❤. And talk new rabbit holes…my sister and I have started sublimating coffee mugs and tees. Why do we always dive in deep😮. Oh well enjoying it like crazy watch for a new mug in the mail.
Thank you so much for being so open about your walk with God and the good and the bad you went through. God is great!
I am a Catholic and always when I speak open about my face people write me how happy they are to find another Christian in our community. The more of us who speak up the more people find God and less people will feel alone in the today’s craziness.
Michelle, thank you so much for sharing your testimony! You have encouraged so many by being real and honest about your walk with God.
Thanks for your generosity, I like blues or pinks best but love all colors really
Michelle, I am glad to hear your story about what God is doing in your life. I don’t know if there is anyone who doesn’t have regrets, but thank God, His work in us and through us doesn’t depend on our worthiness. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it. A practice I have found to be very enlightening (and I haven’t done it in awhile) is to copy a book of the Bible by hand, a little at a time. It is amazing the details that stand out to you just by copying that sometimes slide by in reading. The latest book I started this with is Proverbs, but set it aside for other kinds of reading. I should pick that back up. Of course, it’s also good to read or listen to large portions to get the big picture and sweep of the story as well. I hope you have found a good church family to worship with. We recently joined a small mission church that has been a tremendous blessing to us, giving us that church family fellowship and support we have been hungry for, as well as good teaching. We were in a church for many years that was ok but lacking in many ways. We are so happy to have found this group.
I like colors on the cool side, don’t like orange.
Michelle, I struggle with sharing my testimony, so I’m grateful that you were able to share yours and be so real with us. Isn’t it wonderful that God forgives everything! I started my true walk with God five years ago! What a beautiful journey it has been. I would love to know the name of the church you watch online. I go to North Coast family Fellowship in Seaside, but I love to watch other churches online during the week. Thanks for your podcast and again thanks for being so real.
Oh you’re close to me! Ish 😂
Athey Creek Fellowship
I was hoping I could link it- and probably can from the computer- but I’m laying in bed so this is a good as it gets 😂
You’ll know it’s the right one if you find Pastor Brett 👍
I looked up your church since you’re somewhat local to me- I mean- seaside isn’t just down the road- but not too far- ANYWAY…looks like a great solid church!
@@KnitWitintheSticks found it thanks! You’re welcome to join us anytime! It’s a great Bible teaching church. Our pastor is on sabbatical for a couple more weeks but we’ve had some great fill ins. Check us out online!
Michelle, I appreciate your testimony and your bravery in sharing it. I also adore your little pumpkin hat. (What else did I want to say? I really should take notes when I watch podcasts.)
Great job weeding down your yarn stash! I have done it a few times and yet I still have a mountain of yarn taking up space both physical and mental.
And about the nostepinne (or however you spell that), I have always been curious about them. I think the way I hand wind yarn is similar to the method people use with those, but I haven't actually tried one yet.
Thanks so much for keeping your podcast going. It's nice to have your company while I work on my projects.
Thank you! I’ve said the same thing to myself when watching a podcast- I always think I should take notes of what it is I want to comment because of course I’ll forget! ❤️
Hi Michelle, the about 1000 comments here should tell you how loved you are : ) I am Swedish and I did not read all the 1000 comments, byt decided to tell you this, the word nystepinne is scandinavian. Nysta in Swedish is to wind (yarn) and pinne is a stick also in Swedish : ) Thanks for recording!
So great to see you again
I just loved your testimony about Christ. Keep going.
Thanks for sharing your story. I love your hair!
Thank you for the podcast. I love how genuine the podcast feels. God has pulled me back from the darkness so many times. I am so thankful that He gave me children (that I didn't deserve for the same reason you mentioned) so that I would know the unending LOVE He has for me.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Michelle, I’ve missed you so much! What a great testimony! Brought me to tears 😭 Stay strong in his word and know that He has always been with you. ❤
Thank you for showing your raw emotions. I'm sure someone listening needed to hear what you shared. My life would be blank without Jesus.
You are not going to be believe this but today I needed you. Thank you for continuing to podcast! God Bless and I continue to pray for you.
Praise God - and Bless you! ❤️❤️❤️
Great podcast! Very inspiring! I would love to have the Nostepinne, I've always wanted one. My favorite colors are the jewel tones.
I've just recently discovered the joys of fingering weight yarn! My go to has always been worsted weight but that might be changing! My favorite colors to work with are usually variegated or speckled yarn. I like blue, soft/mild yellows, pinks, and creams. I like most colors, though, the only thing I really don't like working with is black, bright/pure white or neon colors (please save my eyes lol). Fall colors are nice, too, the browns and greens and off whites, especially since we're headed in that direction seasonally right now but I'm really not that picky. I'm happy with anything. I don't really have a favorite fiber, although I tend to stay away from linens and pure cottons just because I don't like the feel of it as well, since I find them to usually be stiff and rough, for lack of a better word.
I think you look adorable with the new haircut
Aw thank you!!!
Thank you for having the courage to share your life experiences and your relationship with Jesus. Big hugs to you! Not many podcasters can make me laugh and cry all in one episode.
Have you watched the show called The Chosen? It’s amazing and I think you would really enjoy it.
Also, if you are a bible study/journaling type there is a company called the Spiral Bible. It’s basically the Bible in notebook form and has wide margins that you can write in. It’s AMAZING! I got mine about 3 months ago and I’m using a daily Bible study to go through each book.
Thank you for the encouragement and know you have friends out there who share your faith and struggles. And I agree, eternity with Jesus is something to look forward to! 🥰
Hi!! Thank you so much for your encouragement!
I am totally up to date on The Chosen. I think they’ve done a great job with that show. I love the creator- Dallas whatever his last name is- when he was pointing out that it’s not meant to take the place of reading the Bible. I know he has been under a lot of scrutiny for the artistic liberties they took- but I agree- I think it’s been a great show.
And yes!! The spiral Bible! I got one- but it was only the gospels- at least when I found them (it’s been a while) they didn’t have the entire Bible in one spiral book. Maybe they do now? I love everything spiral! 🙌
❤️
Michell, thanks for an awesome podcast! I walk with Jesus, but could probably be better at it. I lost my husband of 52 years in 2021 and I can tell you that God helped me so much. Not easy, but He helped get me where I am today and to find peace.
By the way , I love your hair and you look beautiful. You are just glowing!! ❤
A beautiful podcast - thank you for sharing. God bless you! 💜
Just found your channel and I’m so glad that I did!
Thanks! I’m glad you did too 🙌❤️
You have made me laugh and cry all in one episode. Yes to Jesus the Lover of our souls. Thank you for sharing your testimony.
😘❤️
Great to see your knitting and to hear your testimony. Thank you. 🇬🇧
Hi Michelle: Great podcast! Glad you are walking with God again. Love your card projects, awesome that you are enjoying creating them. My favorite color is Raspberry pink or lilac purple. Thanks so much for sharing! Happy crafting!❤
Glad you shared your testimony. It feels so good when you can let things out. It’s so hard to do. I grew up Catholic and believed in God but had no idea how to talk to God or never learned the Bible. But so glad to know God forgives us. I love striped yarn or multi color. My favorite color is teal.
Michelle, I have watched you for years, but I very rarely (maybe never) comment on your videos. I appreciate you so much. Many times I think it’s amazing how often you mention something that I relate to so strongly. Thank you for being so real and sharing yourself with us.
Thanks Sarah! And I appreciate you saying hi ❤️
I love your hair! Of course, it’s basically my haircut but a bit longer.😁
But yours looks better on you 😂
I am so glad you included a conversation about your walk with Jesus. I watch Athey Creek because you mentioned it on your podcast when you and Leslie were together. I have learned a lot from Pastor Brett. I recently found a church in my area that teaches line-by-line. I hope you continue to include a bit about your walk with Jesus. Kim😘
Every time I watch your podcast I come away feeling better! It’s like we are kindred spirits in that you seem to always touch on something that I have been thinking about. I love your openness and sincerity! Don’t ever feel like your podcast isn’t good enough! Thank you and prayers for you!
Oh, bless your heart. I love your heart. Thank you for sharing. I know how hard that was to share your testimony! Great podcast loved it and good hearing from you!
Thank you. The Bible is fascinating and answers so many questions. I get lost in going backwards and forwards to try and understand, Old Testament, New Testament, commentaries, ideas for praying, prayer journals, etc etc. I studied Buddhism for many years trying to find a manual on how to live. Now I study the Bible and I wonder why I didn’t just g,o straight there because those answers I was looking for, are in the Bible. I am grateful I studied Buddhism as it’s given me a grounding which the Bible confirms and explains even better. Again, thank you for sharing.
I’m so glad you are still on. The wooden thing is to hand wind balls of yarn on . I would love one. I would also love a plain or faded skein of blue. So happy you found Jesus!
I am so happy to hear from you again. I always enjoy your episodes. I would love to inherit some yarn from you. I wanted to say that I think you are probably one of the bravest people I know. The fact that you are willing to put yourself out there in all of your episodes with some incredibly personal stuff. I find it very refreshing. I am also someone who tries very hard to keep God as my number one. Sometimes it is a struggle . Thank you very much for the resources on the bible. I read the Bible every day and some of my Bibles have commentary within the Bible itself. I will definitely be looking up your recommended commentary. The one that I've used is the Haley's one. You and I are the same age. I find it funny that we are so much alike. At the risk of sounding creepy. Lol. I believe that if I lived closer to you we would be very good friends
I’m sure we would be! ❤️
Hi again- just a heads up- You are the yarn winner. I'm going to go record a quick episode and will announce it. :)
Oh. I'm looking forward to the episode. That is fantastic, I have never won anything. I'm excited. I don't have Instagram though just so you know. Hopefully I can contact you through an email address??
Thank you for your transparency and willingness to share your testimony. ❤ God bless.
Love the lil pumpkin hat. 😍
Michelle God loves you and so do I!
I find the Nostepinne and relaxing way to wind yarn while watching TV.
I could see that- I mean- if I knew how to use it 😂
God bless you for sharing your journey ❤
Favorite color: green
What an awesome podcast today. I appreciate your candor. I think many people can relate to your testimony. Hope you have a Bible Beliving Church Family. Stay strong!
Well done.. so much to share. I'm so thankful for your heart to be real. Unfortunately, we live in a world that judges others outsides by our insides. I'm sure that there will be so many women who never thought that they could be so open and be loved. ❤
Omg I LOVE THAT NOSTEPINNE
Love your hair ❤
Thank you 😊
I love your blanket, I think we all need a stash buster project. I am making some mini granny squares out of scrap fingering yarn I got from YOU, lol and using some of my whole skeins to get some diversity. I do not use much fingering in the past, so I have few choices as scraps but it will take a whole lot of these to make a blanket so it will get used. Still working on the socks, decided to rip back and start over as I was not happy with my ribbing. That Nostepine is for rolling balls of yarn with a center pull, there are TH-cam videos that show how easy they are to use.
So glad to hear your God story, It's a good feeling to know that we will meet as sisters in Eternity with Jesus, even if we never meet in this life. 🥰
I love your shorter hair!
When we trust in Him he will never forsake us. Thank you for being open about your faith journey. Remember God loves us and always walks beside us. We are in times where we need to pray and trust in Jesus so keep talking you will bring more people to God. Also if you don’t know or watch faith and knitting please check this podcast Rhonda is wonderful in bringing the word of God. Bless you Michelle 🙏
Thank you- and for the podcast recommendation!
Thanks so much for sharing your walk with God! Please continue to talk about God. I’m so glad you are back podcasting.
Your fountain is pretty and I don’t think it sounds like a bathroom, just a relaxing sound. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Love that cute pumpkin beanie and the lovely socks. Stay safe love and hugs xx
Love the Nose-pine. Ya it Wrapes a yarn ball . Or you wrap it around and end up with a middle pull skein. And love all colors of yarn of course.
God Bless You and your Family
I love the cards!!!
Michele, bless your heart for exposing it to those of us who are your fans. I’ve put the Corson’s book in my Amazon cart-starting with #3. BTW, I think your hair looks cute ☺️
Look at dr. Casey Means kitchen meals, i find them very helpful and satisfying! Always enjoy your episodes.
I just love you for the kind and open hearted person you are. It is not ways easy to open yourself up for the world to see, but you're such an amazing soul, and I just feel like I can relate to you in so many ways. Ugh, I'm not sure what I'm trying g to say other than thank you for being you
AND! Your hair looks adorable like that, Michelle! A couple of books that I highly recommend are Eat to Beat Disease by William L. Li, fabulous info and Fat Chance by Robert H. Lustig. Both of these doctors are against sugar but not totally. Fat Chance has some really great salad dressing recipes!
Great show! I wind all my yarn on a nostepinne (I say - nosta pinny). I have broken so many yarn winders that I just use this and not have to worry about it breaking. My favorite colors are purple or blue (jewel tones).
Michelle so good to see you again.your hair is so pretty but if you don't like it then yes growing it out is an option. While you're wairing you could get extensions say to your shoulders.
Love all your projects. Keep it coming!!!
Hello Michelle! I share your issues with hair. I wanted to cut my hair and my grandchildren talked me out of it. My favorite colors are jewel tones, mostly greens and reds.
Oh, it's incredible, the amount of things I've learned recently. Like what Nero did to Christians, yikes! And still they didn't turn away. And things just dawn on you, like there was no Holy Spirit before Jesus, and that's why men's hearts were so evil!! Love that you share! Oh, and I've just fallen in love with navy blue!😉
Bless your hurting heart. Thank you for sharing. May He use you and bless you
Michelle, I love Frank Turik and Chuck Missler; am (slowly) listening to Missler's series on Revelation on youtube. Thank you for sharing your story. And I love green and yellow yarn. So glad to see you back!
First off thank you Michelle for being open and honest with your walk with Jesus. You’ve inspired me to open the Bible again and start reading. My husband always suggests Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to get started. I tell you what, God was with me from the moment I went to the doctor’s to find out what the lump was on my forehead. I remember sitting in my living room later after I found out that the lump was cancer and I started to panic then clear as day a voice said, “Catherine don’t worry everything is going to be alright” after that I never ever felt fear, in fact as they were getting me prepped for surgery to remove the cancer and part of my forehead, I was not even scared, I was calm because I knew it was God who told me not to worry. I felt His presence in every aspect of my cancer journey even holding my hand through every radiation treatments. The night before I was to go down to Little Rock for my surgery we went to our local barbecue place and we started chatting over our shoulders with a couple who we had never met. My husband stood up and went over to talk to the wife and the husband came over to me. He told me not to worry and to go into my surgery with a smile and a positive attitude because everything is going to be alright. Hmmmmmm that sounded familiar……………. God is good.
I would love to win yarn! Fave color is blue but I am open to anything.
XOXOXOXOXO ❤️🌸🌼🌻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You are courageous and special. God bless you!
Love your openness and honesty. ❤
I love your haircut…especially the flip in the back. It frames your face nicely too. The window looks pretty behind you.
Hi Michelle, thank you for sharing. I have to tell you, I have so have some much respect for you! I have always been a believer, but I found the older I get the more fanatical I get! God bless!❤❤
Thank you. Maybe cuz we're getting closer to standing before Him! 💖
I'm so glad you are still podcasting. Thank you for sharing your walk with God. Bless you my friend ❤❤🙏🙏
Thank you for having the courage to share your heart and the gospel! 🥰🥰🥰.
Hi Michelle, EVERY time I watch you, I think we’d be best friends … or maybe frienemies (sp?) because we are the same person!!! Right down to the fact that my dad was a cop too and I lost him very shortly after you lost yours. It would be great if we could get a support group going to help those of us who struggle with our health and taking better care of ourselves. I just don’t know how it could be done long-distance. Hey, can I move in? 😂😝🤣
I’m sorry you lost your dad ❤️
Well one thing that I can suggest to get started on better eating habits is get that stomach bug I had…. It hung on for quite a while and gave me the kick I needed to start eating less 😂😂😂😂😂😂
More health tips to follow….
😂
Favorite color yarn…Pink, best podcast ever.God is great!!!
