haha dang now brown buffalo!!?? Another legendary brand. You indeed have epic collection of bags! Please do a short video of all your collection, something like closet tour but showcasing all your bags. Maybe you will eventually have a waterfield bag comparison. Waterfield is not so urban but they are definitely very high quality! Waiting on my CPL V2 28, cant wait! Also, I will eventually get the CB 19 in multicam!
I don't have anything Waterfield right now. For some reason, none of their stuff spoke to me. I managed to get a 19l on order in the black xpac, so hopefully that'll be nice when it gets in. The cpl24v2 looks like it'll be a great bag. I made a promise not to buy it until I sell my v1, do well see if that ever happens. Enjoy yours when it comes in!
me again, Andy :) well, we've officially gone through over 12 bags ordered and returned all but one, the Thule Crossover. My son thinks he will be fine with that one BUT... . I had the Greenroom136 Rainmaker on my list from the start but put off since there are no returns. Do you have one? If so, mind weighing in? We'd get the XL if we did. As always, capacity and comfort are tied for #1 for our goals.
Have you considered doing a "one bag travel" comparison between the Tom Bihn Aeronaut 30 and the Tom Bihn Synik 30 since they carry 30L in two very different ways? I think I can fit one large A30 packing cubes + 4 end pocket A30 packing cubes in the A30. I think using different organizers and spreading things out you might get the same content in a Synik but with the ability to separate a laptop and water bottle and smaller items into easy access spaces. Anyway, this is a guess since I don't currently own either of these (I gifted my A30 to my in laws who loved it), but I'm in the market for one of them.
That's likely a good video to make... sadly, I don't have a set of A30 packing cubes to do a perfect-fit comparison. While they're both rated at 30l, they are such different bags.
@@AndyModellBackpacks based on your A30 packing video, it appears as if the Peak design medium and small packing cubes are compareable enough in size to the two A30 packing cubes I mentioned, especially if they aren't packed to the max.
I think they're a bit taller than the Tom Bihn ones, especially not compressed. Still, I don't have my SN30 on me right now, so it would be a little bit until I could make that video anyway.
Are you sure that Brown Buffalo is closing on 15 October? Their site doe not confirm closure and they never answer emails. I assume that the warranty is up in the air. I have a preference for the BB Conceal as an EDC over the GR1 for its organization and urban look but the BB Conceal isn't available in Europe without expensive international shipping and import charges making it absurdly expensive. A used bag is difficult to come by.
They definitely announced that they were a month or so ago (amp.reddit.com/r/ManyBaggers/comments/ihjzra/the_brown_buffalo_is_shutting_down/), but I don’t see much bow. Maybe there was a change on their end, but I haven’t seen any official announcements other than their Instagram showing what appears to be more bags in the works
This a great comparison, really informative. Can I ask do you still own the Brown Buffalo backpack featured in this video?
Great Vid. Keep grinding brother, your giving great reviews
Thank you! I don't always have the time / motivation, but I try to film when I can.
great coomparision. the Goruck is more easy to pack because the opening is in 9 : 1 while the Brown Buffalo is in 5 : 5 or 6 : 4.
Great comparison, very concise. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!

Also, not sure how long this will last, but it looks like thebrownbuffalo.com has a multicam black cb19 in stock right now.

I have never used anything by Greenroom136.
@@AndyModellBackpacks thanks Andy
I like the insert, looks useful.
I didn’t mention in the video, because I wanted to focus on the bags, but it even has clips so you can use it as a shoulder bag

Can you fit gymn clothes into the 21L version including running shoes? How did you find a second hand version of the BB Conceal?
