Story #2: Where was his/her call button? I used to work at a hospital and every patient staying in the hospital (especially those out of surgery) are required to have a nurse call button on them at all times.

JayJay Bearington I have celiac disease and this person fucked it up. It's NOT an allergy. It's an autoimmune disease where our bodies don't process the gluten protein anymore and as such when we ingest gluten it causes certain reactions to it. For this person to be bleeding they would had to have not followed the diet at all in which case I have no sympathy for them but sucked what happened to them while in the hospital.
Brandon Kroll I put gluten allergy because I honestly didn't know it was different even though it sounds exactly like an allergy anyway and I put it as a Group thing like is you have a severe peanut allergy don't eat peanuts

I'm sorry but I'm a nurse and there are issues with the story about celiac disease. 1)IV do not attach to stomachs, they attach to a cannula in the arm or hand or to what is called a central line that is inserted into the neck or upper chest near collar bone. 2) I'V pumps have a battery, if fully charged can run for 8 hours. if the battery is low (less than 30 minutes left) it will alarm to be plugged in. Simply unplugging the pump from the wall will not make it stop. pumps have had this feature for over 25 years..
I've been in & out of Hospitals since I was a child, I never heard of Celiac disease till this video however. The I.V pumps always make that slight beep noise & the slightest movement will alarm the nurse too. I don't remember much but even if unplugged & fully charged it will alarm the nurse, correct? Also someone did comment this as well, the nurse call button, probably forgot by shock like I said on there. But no matter what it's always by your side or head, of course it could of slipped out of reach but there's a cord to pull it up. You'd think who ever sent that story in would've added that for the listeners to get the picture of what happened.
