How To Fight Ice Phoenix Like a Ninja

- Here is the next tutorial in the Like a Ninja Series and we are taking on the Ice Phoenix. Now everyone isn't blessed with a Mephisto, so being cold snap immune really just depends on how nice RNGsus has been to you.. this particular fight requires a little bit of boost to help you get past that cold snap, but after that, this is a completely SKILL based fight. Hope you can tune in and watch if this particular beast has been holding you back from uncollected greatness. Now these techniques aren't only for uncollected, as you can use them in any difficulty. Thanks for this. Also keep in mind that tech champs have class advantage, which lowers the damage done by Ice Phoenix’s coldsnap.

I totally agree with your points at the end. Unavoidable damage is not a fun game mechanic, it's just a strategy from the developers to encourage more unit spending, which isn't cool. The even bigger problem with the design of this fight is the heal block. If they are going to create a fight that delivers unavoidable damage to this extent, they have to allow us a way to recover some of that damage. Fight should be won based on skill, not by having to boost your champions up so much that they can survive unavoidable damage.
Once I got into the groove of this fight and didn’t make mistakes it was fine and solo’d her several times. It’s all mental

That's a really good video for players with all 4/40 champs like me... Thanks a lot DD... I think using capww2 can make it very easy... She has node with resistances and vibranium shield absorbs all the damage.

I'm barely gonna try her 100% real pain the first time also a tip if you have a certain champ you're going to bring just for her since she's the toughest I would probably bring a synergy champ around the champ you'll use for her

great vid and honest, the unavoidable damage is one of the cheesiest things in the game like autoblock. I had to fight her once before the nerf and she drained about 20k health with the cold snap. it was insane.

He is good indeed. Yeah, he doesn't hit hard, but he won't take any damage from coldsnap, so you can even mess up a little and take a couple of Phoenix's SP1. He will be slow, but safe. He's also very good for AW defense due to his aura of incineration and his regen.

I just saved a champ full health for her, didn't get hit. Lost about 75% health to the cold snap :/
Good video but I beat ice Phoenix with a 4* starlord with 15% health boost
I found rogue to be most useful here ... she srugs off cold snap 70% faster than other players
Use Ghost Rider to completely remove ice-armor
Just bring Agent Venom or Mephisto...that's the balance\counter. I'm sure Kabam was thinking of them when they released Ice Phoenix

Why do you hold till SP3 with Iceman without suicides? Isn't it better to spam SP1 for more frostbites?

Also with suicides, even if you’re bleed poison immune, you still take damage after activating specials. So saving for sp3 gets less recoil damage and also serves to remake ice armor if you lost it.

How would that change anything about the video. The instructions are the same. Literally 100% the same. Still would have been a no hitter fight. 0 hits taken. Just would have seen a longer fight. And what does Iceman have to do with anything? He’s not coldsnap immune.. so... also, it’s uncollected difficulty. Why wouldn’t I use a rank 4 5 star?!

Man, I'm not sure how this video can help us that's all.. like off course you can defeat that moster with a rank4 5*. As you said is an uncollected event so you need skill. What I'm trying to tell you is that would have a greater impact on us seeing you using a 4*.
I beat many uncollected players are still not having 5* champs at that level and they're relaying on 4*s trying not to use so many units on revives 😅.
I know iceman is not coldsnap imun ( even if I'm founding it non sense). Is just everyone know how iceman is good, and the fight you had is just... not so remarkable just because iceman is so powerful. That's all :-)
No worries. But it’s about the steps taken.. not so much the champ used. For example.. using boosts to offset the coldsnap is huge.. then being able to handle the fight with the techniques. I save those vanity fights for showcase purposes when I release gameplay vids. Thx for the feedback.

If you don’t have boosts, you’re screwed......& it’s not like 1 boost is needed, it’s 3 boosts to fight her.....hate it........ specially with the amount of damage. beefing her up ok...... but have her unduped & unblockable L1 or something

Why does cold snap hurt Iceman? He is PRODUCING the cold snap. It's like the Human Torch getting burned.
I try to think of it as smelling someone else’s gas.. you both produce it but somehow the other persons still is potent to you 😂😂😂

Just bring Mephisto. Or Agent Venom. They totally counter Ice Phoenix's "Unavoidable Damage". There is always a way around these things. Kabam isn't stupid. They put counters out there for a reason
