The best way or way that works a lot of the time is attacking the defender while he is blocking for a hit or two and as soon as your done attacking their block they will launch the special. Don’t remember what it’s called exactly in the video but yeah that one works well. I use all of em at some point tho.
now without perfect block teams, we need some dork lessons on how to fight evading ninja style...evade S1, S2, light, med. heavy attack...basically fighting without blocking

Like I said.. there will be times it will just not bait. But also, when are you trying to bait? If you are talking about fights 1-8 in arena.. yeah.. it doesnt bait all that much during those.. because the computer will likely not use SP3 for that match.. and if it does, it will do minimal damage. Other than that.. keep practicing.. you'll get it.

There's no such thing as "bait specials". The max you can do is wait until the AI launch a special attack. That's deppends much more on the mode of game, level of defenders, what champ is the defender (and what you're using), and some random factors more than any technique. When I fight with Doom below 2 bars of powers, I always press defense, and the champs always launch their specials. While with other champs, I always let my defense open, and they take a lot of time to launch specials.

Question. When I try to bait the attacks buy walking towards them with my guard down they usually just run towards me and when I am fighting against enemy's with high damage, you can see the problem. So my question is, how do I stop that from happening. Thanks.

I've tried so hard to bait sometimes, especially in arena, the AI just won't take the bait and keep charging up L3 and make me lose my streak :(
This doesn't work in arenas. The cpu holds it for sp3

I have noticed that when ending a combo, if you dont *immediately* press block, they will usually use their special
