When I did the Chicago podcast that was so much fun, it’s awesome to hear the passion from the group at the beginning. Tough times at Madrid this season but I love the community we have here at MM.
1) Players like Vini and Jude have very high soccer intelligence and do not need strict coaching … they can read the game and will exploit the weakness 2) Players like Mbappe needs strict and rigid coaching 3) Players have to practice more long ball control and passes 4) Vini is the one who knows how to improve himself and how to stay away from injuries 5) We need another midfielder who has vision as well as technique
you can't not talk about Kroos with this team. Ceballos can fill the role to an extent in a double but not with chimchumini. But there's no amount of overstating possible how badly Kroos is missed. On softness, the best point is there is no leader. That's why the defence is so bad, which is also because Ancelotti is hopeless, but there is no organiser there which is usually the one who gets involved. None of them is that guy, not even Rudiger - he's soft. His hardness is fake. But listen, if anyone believes this team is getting to the final, they haven't been watching. This is very different to each of the last years because there's no Kroos, no Benzema, no Carvajal, Modric seems doubtful, none of those players who dug out the team despite Ancelotti's limitations. We won't have long to wait until we find out because we will be lucky to make the play offs.
