I bought the 11 inch m2 air as well, it simply seems like the best performance to price ratio, as well as the pros are really only for those who primarily work on and use their iPads for literally everything. I'd definitely love the bigger pro version, but I just really don't want to put out that much money for such a little performance boost (honestly not impressed with the m4 compared to the m2 performance). Then there is the 13 inch air, which is cool, but I think it's priced a little too high and a little too close to the 11 inch pro version. So yea... 11 inch m2 air is the best choice for most people. As well as the 10th gen normal iPad, which is still a great value for what you get.
I had zero using any iPad with 500 nits brightness outside. Trick is to not face upwards towards the sun. Tilt the screen a slight bit downward and you all good.
Bought the 13” iPad Air after going into an Apple Store and testing it side by side vs the Pro version. The Pro had the better screen but I didn’t see a $500 difference. I brought my iPad Air to Vegas with me and it’s been great…used it for my online class, gaming, and streaming a movie and so far it’s been a great travel companion. The thing that most reviews missed is the 13” Air is $800 and with my old 2018 iPad Pro trade in for $330…I get the big screen experience for under $600 which is a steal. A 13” Mac Book or 13” iPad Pro start at $1,000 and up and not everyone is looking to spend that kinda money on a tablet
I couldn’t agree more. Well performing tablets are quite expensive these days. I also don’t think the Pro is worth it for the majority of people. Though the M4 chip is a beast of a tablet it’s not worth it due to iPad OS. I’m eager to see what Apple announces at WWDC regarding iPad OS.
when I was in the store I did not even realize the 60 hertz I thought ppl where being over exaggerating until I decided to try the pro and yeah the pro is really fast but I feel that people won't notice the difference if they don't have something to compare it to. I'm definitely buying the 13 inch once my fall classes start, when I saw it I couldn't go back to the 11 inch I defentinitly see my self being more productive with the 13 inch
I’ve got an 11 inch M2 Air and it’s essentially becoming my laptop replacement. I’m starting a masters soon and this’ll be note taking, writing, watching stuff and I’m hoping to do some video editing, but nothing crazy. Honestly love it. And I got the Pencil Pro which, honestly, is a game changer. I’ve been writing on it loads and using the pencil all the time. Way more than I thought I would.
Hey, I know you posted this a month ago, but on the off-chance you see this: How's the battery life? I just ordered mine and I see reviews about the poor battery and I'm really worried.
@@aaryapillai hey buddy. So I’ve not really noticed a problem. There are things that drain it (social media etc) but those things drain my phone too. I turn it off every few days and have the setting on normally to charge it to 80% to preserve the battery, but I’ve had all day life pretty much all the time. I’ve used it fairly intensively and it’s not let me down once. Software updates seem to have done well with it too but no problems my end!
I went and got a new combo touch for mine today to match since my old M1 Air has been passed down. This really has more power than I'll ever need in a tablet so for the price it's definitely exactly what I need
@@VladGamingTechWorld I've got a 27'' LG Ultrafine 5k monitor, that is 500 nits; and I can tell that the apple studio display is much brighter at 600 nits. The difference between ipad air 11 and 13, looked equally dramatic, when I tested them side-by-side.
Split screen isn’t horrible on the 11inch iPad but I’d definitely suggest going to a larger size as well if that’s something you’ll be doing a lot. I would also suggest getting the older M2 iPad Pro if you had to choose between that and the new 13-inch iPad Air as you’ll get the mini-led screen, pro motion, better speakers and more.
Hello, I have a question, I want to buy the ipad air 5 or maybe the 6 and among with the esr keyboard, but in my country i don't find anymore the keyboard for ipad air, only for ipad 10th generation. Do you know if this keyboard is compatible with the air model? Ps: a very good review. Thank you very much:))
The iPad Air M2 does not come with a screen protector, but I would always suggest one buys a screen protector to protect the screen from scratches or cracks.
whenever my screen protection has bubbles like that i just feel so defeated, these days i just ask my neighbors kid to do it for me, i have more trust in an 11 year old than my own adult abilities 😂😂 Great production on the video, smooth voice, excited to see the growth of your channel bro
What a soothing voice! Rooting for your channel's success! Ps. If anybody wants a bright screen consider android iqoo z9 its got 4500 nits brightness. Yes it's not an apple product and not a tablet. Silly advice here 😅
Hey there! I have a question, for uni. and watching movie-shows yt etc. Which one should i buy; ipad air m2 11" or ipad pro m2 11" (all of them with pencil tho) ? In my country the ipad pro m2 11" is 5k more than new ipad air so which one is better for long term? New ipad is 2 years younger and it will be get more updated that's the two reason im stuck with it: m2 pro price and update stuff... 🤷🏻♀️ and also is it big enough 11"? I want to buy the 13" but the price diff is literally 10k its so much tho. I would like to state that the iPad I bought can be updated for at least 6-7 years and that I want to use it for a very long time without lag or other problems.
Shoot, well I bought a M1 air with 256gb, I don’t video edit, maybe do MirrorPlay with my ps5. Mostly shopping and streaming shoes…..should I have gotten a M2?
No, there isn’t much of a difference in performance when it comes to the M1 and M2 chip. Plus the M1 chip is still a beast of a chip and it will continue to be a beast for awhile.
@@VladGamingTechWorld watching youtube/netflix and study and maybe some gaming, but i afraid that the ipad 10 might feel cheap cuz of the display and the a14 bionic..
What about covers? I want to use the magic keyboard but I'd also like to be able to keep it flat on a table to draw. However, this means it'll be unprotected while on the table if I'm using the magic keyboard. Is there any simple cover with the smart connector so it can easily move it on and off the magic keyboard?
The main reason I was looking for the air instead of the 10th gen was to do some video editing by airdropping the images from my iPhone. Can I ask you why you didn’t like the editing experience?
The M2 iPad Air is definitely capable of video editing. The only issue I had was the fact that the apps that I use weren’t the full editing apps as they were missing features that I typically use when video editing. I prefer to use my M1 MacBook Pro instead for that reason. Everything else that I typically do on my MacBook Pro I prefer to do on my iPad such as writing scripts, creating thumbnails, editing photos, answering emails and more.
@@VladGamingTechWorld okay is it good? i've only heard bad things about paper like so far, for example that the apple pencil rubs off, the paper darkens the screen or that the screen protector scratches. would you say the same?
