Perhaps a long shot to show the relevant section in relation to the rest of the engine area. And perhaps explain that we must remove the bash plate (as well as showing the picture).
Damn it's the same engine as mine. I have a toyota hilux 2.4 dx 2018 a very good car. What oil should I use also great video and explanation, all I know is my oil needs dpf oil
Do not remove the sensor on the top of the filter housing, mine broke and Toyota specifically had told me you are not supposed to remove that part. To add insult to injury they also don’t stock that O-Ring and you have to buy a whole new filter when it breaks
That's a great video helps alot thanks mate keep up the great videos.
Glad it helped

What oil did you use?

For oil specifications check your manufacturer's service manual or contact your local Toyota Dealer.
Do you guys sell engine parts for the 2.4L 2GD-FTV Engine (2020 Hilux Revo)
Is it normal for diesel engines that the oil gets dark soon?
it's the same with every car
I use 10 PPM diesel fuel only and the oil does not get dark easily - only after 9000km.
So annoying you have to remove the bash plate to change oil and filter…
Thanks

Thanks man! i almost fuck things up
Bro how many km after service new car ,i have 2022 hilux brand new
Hey, you'll need to check your logbook for the exact km's.
Toyota Turbo Diesel = every 10,000 km then a service is needed
Very misleading a lot harder than this
without a hoist it is, for me the only stretch is the oil filter and finding the sump plug washer.
