Hey Chris, I know you released this video like 4 hours ago, but I wanna know which of these musical styles that start with B is your favorite: ABC Mouse, Britney Spears, Blink-182, Bullet For My Valentine, Beastie Boys, Bizaardvark, Blur, Bring Me The Horizon, Butcher Babies, Bon Jovi, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Billy Joel, Billy Idol, Boys Like Girls, Bob Marley and Barry White.
Seconding everyone else saying it, would LOVE a full album review from you of "From Zero." So many interesting things on it that I think you'd really appreciate.
I was looking forward to hearing your review of this song specifically and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I know absolutely nothing about singing, and I don't even like scream that much, but even I can appreciate the sheer variety of different screams Emily is using in this song. And more in general the range of songs she performed in this album, Stained and Over Each Other are completely different from Casualty, but she also fits those songs beautifully. I think she's a great addition to the band :)
Keep it up Chris, love your analysis of this type of music, I'm not a singer myself but you've taught a lot us some some interesting stuff about singing! Your videos have made me want to try and start screaming vocals haha.
You should watch the Live in Texas Concert when they played it for the first time ever. She does something even more mind blowing at the end when she screams "I know all the secrets you keep" without even taking a breath from her "I won't be your casualty" screams - it slaps even harder than the Studio Version❤🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic reaction with amazing break down and teaching much love for what you do ps I really hope charismatic voice does a reaction to this song and 2 face aswell absolute bangers
It’s amazing to me how you can analyse and actually pretty well replicate the singers’ sounds! Great, great analysis. I love that song, even though I’m not usually drawn to “mostly screaming songs”. Emily’s awesome and I’m so excited for the band’s future.
Hello Chris, I am pretty much new on this channel and i wanted to express my thanks for doing these analyses on LP stuff, as well as your free voice lessons. Singing was my passion since ever, and both really help me understand it and find my own voice. It's really enjoyable and helps me connect a lot of pieces. Sincerely, thank you so much.
Are you doing an album review for From Zero? I’m not saying you do a vocal analysis, as a fan of Linkin Park and Chester as you are, I’d love to see you listen to the entire album and just give your thoughts 🔥🤘🏻
Hey Chris, you said that in order to start distortion we need to find a good point between fry and breaking the voice techniques, when we achieve that point, do we need to practice both techniques every time? Or just go straight to that specific point of balance once we get it?
It's all a balancing act. And a long process of feeling out the sensations. I can help you practice this safely and efficiently here: www.mymusicalvoice.com/p/the-aggressive-vocalist-s-master-plan-of-attack
Please take a look at One O'Clock's paper planes live. I don't think there is any other live show that is fun to interact with the crowd in the history of One Ok, and above all, the singer seems to be having fun!! I participated in a concert a long time ago, but it's still impressive!|
I dont remember if it is the song Two Faced or Casualty. But in the end of one of those songs from their first show in Sao Paulo (nov 15) she screams with vibrato one or maybe two times. It sounds amazing! The whole concert was streamed so there are many videos here on youtube on the full show
Hey Chris do you think you could compare and contrast Sam Carter’s pitched scream technique with Chester’s the same way you did with Emily’s or maybe you could compare and contrast Sam and Emily! Great video btw!
Definitely reminded me of Victimized, but it’s a much better song. Victimized is one of the most skippable LP song ever made, but this isn’t that at all.
@slappyhours8216 Emily always changes something in her performances, she never does one thing multiple times, like that vibrato she did in her scream for Two Faced the first night in Brazil, she didn't do it again the second night, i love that about her, but yeah i also wish she kept that deathcore scream for Casualty lol
@@nikahazinybut by seeing her doing this kind of scream seems like it may damage her voice in longer runs with this technique she would not able to retain higher notes of scream
@Kkrzik you're watching a vocal coach's channel, Chris has reacted to Emily's screams, she's not damaging her voice at all, just because it sounds dangerous doesn't mean it is, she knows what she's doing.
Keys to the kingdom vibes right here, i’m glad her screams are more raw. I hate the fact that Chester used vocal processing on that song. especially in the beginning.
It’s not damaging at all if you know how to do it correctly! I can show you exactly how to do it safely! Check out my course The Aggressive Vocalists Master Plan Of Attack at mymusicalvoice.com
In that bridge section, Emily REALLY reminds me of old-school Corey Taylor. His voice would do similar things when he did the really vulnerable emotional scream build-ups.

Need the IGYEIH review!
Do "Good Things Go"! Such a beautiful song needs to be reviewed!
Literally the moment I heard this song the other day I was like "Chris Liepe is 100% going to LOVE what Mike's doing in this song!"
I LOVE that Mike is using some distortion in his voice now. It sounds badass.
Can’t wait for you to react good things go chris
YES! YES! YES!
yea ! Good Things Go Please
Emily’s Range is mind blowing.
vot vote vote!
And IGYEIH.
this would be awesome, such a fantastic song
0:18 “That is a much tighter sound than we just heard on Two Step.” 😂 Two Faced and One Step Closer have officially been merged.
Ahhh yep good catch :)
Imagine if they made a mash up for concerts👀
2 Steps One Faced Closer
@@oOWaschBaerOo hehe... I bet every long time fan is going to do what I just did at some point :)
@@chrisliepe Going to? We've allready been doing it since Two Faced came out, buddy xD
I was front row when they debuted this one in Dallas and she screamed this right at us 😂 sounds amazing live
I went to the second show in São Paulo and Casualty live is absurd, Emily is outstanding, how was a woman like that hidden in Dead Sara.
I wouldn’t call it hidden. She does a ton of crazy vocals in Dead Sara songs, clean and harsh. They just never really managed to truly break through
She was destined for Linkin Park
@@MatheusNJ sounds bad to me
@mathieusynnott8915 okay, your opinion, i respect that.
Yeah Casualty live hits different, what a voice!!!!
I need Mike to do this every album from now on
My favorite song of the album!!!! 🔥 And i heard it live!!!! 😎
I’ve been to one of their concerts in Sao Paulo last weekend. She is perfect live, just like the record
Foi incrível mesmo!
I’m so glad you love her voice squeaks because it’s something I’ve caught too and I LOVE how it sounds
Seconding everyone else saying it, would LOVE a full album review from you of "From Zero." So many interesting things on it that I think you'd really appreciate.
Yesss! I was waiting for you to break down her screams in this song! Thank you Chris! Did not disappoint! 🤘
Would love a reaction of Good Things Go
Your reviews make my days
How'd you know I was waiting for this 😂 Great analysis as usual, love your method of teaching. Would love an analysis of Good Things Go
I am loving the album. This song is my 4th favorite. I appreciate Mike getting aggressive, and Emily is great as always. This is a "break stuff" song.

Love these Linkin Park analyses 🥰 almost as much as the songs themselves
The song gets better the more often you listen to it.
Yes, I just find that song cool now after some listening, It did not sound as cool before

Ouu you have to listen the live version in Brasil. Emily does crazy amazing things with her voice. ✨✨🔥

New Architects, Chris!! Cant wait to see your review!
Can we see an album review?
Yes please!
i dont know how hard it would be to clear it but most people that have posted reactions to it got blocked by copyright
I would love to see this!
What a joy to hear Mike still experiment with new techniques 25 years in. He nailed the sound.
I've been waiting your analysis for this for a week now haha
Fantastic reaction with amazing break down and teaching much love for what you do ps I really hope charismatic voice does a reaction to this song and 2 face aswell absolute bangers
Mike decided he wanted to sound like Paige Hamilton from Helmet and I’m down for it.
2000: Mike tells Chester to scream like that all the time
2024: Joe Hahn tells Mike to scream like that all the time
4:43 "There it is!!" 🤣🤣
I was waiting for this!!! Keep on doing it Chris! Love it!
Love your reviews and explanations.
Always love your videos Chris!
I’d be curious to hear your analysis of Good Things Go
I love casualty so much 🔥🔥🔥🔥 is awesome❤

I always hope to come out your video because I learn a lot as if it were a school
I love that song! The performed it live in Dallas and Sao Paolo!! AWESOME!!🔥
id love to take a look at 3:10 seconds of the casualty - dallas texas nov 8 live performance. i think Emily has outdone herself here.
Good review mr Chris!
emily got her screamy pants on
This is not my favorite song of this album but I waited for an analysis. Thanks :)

Check out the pro shoot of Two Faced from Brazil, she does like a vibrato scream which I don't think I've heard someone do before.
Would love you doing a breakdown of Keith Buckley’s technique. His voice is crazy
I could walk in on my wife cheating with 5 other guys and if you were in the wardrobe analysing her screams I would 100% stick around to listen 😂
HAHAHA, well that might be your best option in that scenario :)
Love me some angsty Mike vox tradeoffs with Emz 😈🤘💜 thank you Sensei 🙏🌹

i need to see more new LP tracks reviews for all the songs

Casualty is like the new Victimized for me. The whole vibe, the anger and aggression in both Mike's an Emily's voice, just... hrrrrngh

Hey felipe, can you make a reaction and analysis of michael jackson live concerts?
I CRAVE MOARR
Linkin Park's new album is great, but I NEED you to analyze "0" by Ado, pleaseee
I wonder why they left out the deathcore scream at the end, the first live version in Texas sounded even better with it. Thanks for the video :)
I think you mean the version from Texas :) But yeah, unfortunately she has not done it live again like that.

Lolololol the frye screams

At first I thought they had Henry Rollins on that track...
Emily almost sounds like a roaring tiger when she uses distortion.
More like a puma.
do LP pay you for these videos?
well I agree it's cool
In that bridge section, Emily REALLY reminds me of old-school Corey Taylor. His voice would do similar things when he did the really vulnerable emotional scream build-ups.
Quite an annoying song really.
Wish the song was as good as the breakdown
She will never do this live and keep going for the rest of the playlist healthy.
She already did lmao, Bogotà, and both nights in Brazil.
@nikahaziny The live video sounds of her voice is mediocre.
Chill, dude. She’s been singing/screaming for almost twenty years. She knows wtf she’s doing. And she’s doing it pretty damn well.
@@eliskatesarova3104 Her old band Dead sara sounds nothing like this.
@ Weatherman is very similar. There are hints of her singing like she is singing in LP. Of course she developed and her technique now is even better.
