@@RMokros of course, but why put laws in place to protect introduced species that decimate the population of regular species? Well... I guess 'state laws' DOES explain that 😤🙄
@@WesleyHarcourtSTEAMandMORE I don't think they really care about whether these game fish are native or not & that its a lost cause, so they may as well profit from it. --- There selling fishing licenses, saving money on stocking programs and visitor/tourist dollars being spent in the area and its recreational opportunities. --- They can't be stupid enough to protect destructive, illegally intro'd species ......... or, are they?
I understand the importance of maintaining native fish species but sometimes I feel the dfw sets unrealistic goals in the pursuit of preservation. Largemouth bass and bluegill are so widely spread throughout the U.S. that they’re introduction to any large body of water is pretty much inevitable. You can attempt to control the population but more often than not you’re just hurting the best fishing opportunities while the natives never really come back in their original numbers.
Atleast most introduction wasn't junk fish. Granted cutt throat trout are basically gone but introducing 3 other kinds of trout was a swell idea.. I just hope some idiot doesn't pop in carp or pike or signal crayfish
Want natives, start with agriculture and get rid of clean farming and plastic packaging , bring back organic . Wildlife can live in the waters they were before all their habitat was taken away. our sloughs and creeks along the central coast look like mud drains.I'd pay more for a piece of lettuce or cabbage if that what it would take. Greed has destroyed our fisheries...not non native fish.
Please give this video a quality upgrade, 360p is doing a disservice to the magnificent research that was done.
I farted in lake Tahoe.
I piss in Tahoe every chance I Get
Why just why 😂
Is this transferred from a VHS tape or what?
The great lakes have the same kind of species in comparison of colder weather.
Why does the fish and game have catching limits on the non-native species?
State laws brodie
