LAST TIME, we reacted to Xdinary Heroes' Freddy, the opening track from their Live Lock album, and saw them mixing genres like there is no tomorrow. But we didn't think they would do that again in the very next track with Break the Brake.
Mixing rock sound with electronic and metal elements, overlapping multiple sounds and progressively making the song more chaotic, yet never once feeling too obscured or unintelligible. And with the fitting MV that tells a unique story, this track was an absolute blast!!

you guys are not reaaaadyyy for troubleshooting they keep outdoing themselves its crazy
If you listen closely you can hear Jooyeon in the background making “ooo” sounds which is used to create suspense in the music. In addition those loud yelling like sounds were actually created by Gun-il (if I’m sure) the members spoke more in depth about it in their “record behind 1 and 2” in JYP entertainment channel
the record behind, was the first from them and it was amazing to see them!!

if you put a fade out effect at the last 5 seconds of the song and have it on repeat, the song is a loop as well 🤯

The mv is directly connected to the album name, Livelock is a computer term for a progress beeing repeated over and over again (I'm not a professional, so sorry if this is phrased wrong, tried to explain what google told me) that's why the same sequence is repeated again and again in the mv until the last time they break the cycle and get out of it. Also when you put the song on repeat on spotify with crossfade on max it's will perfectly connect to the beginning, so it sounds like a infinite loop, which is such a genius move.
Break the Break is the title track so it has an MV 😆 Pluto, the next track, has a music video as well. It's another type of great! Another Xdinary Heroes brand 😌
The background voices is Gunil's btw. Do you hear Jooyeon's "✨️It's close to heaven✨️"

Im literally obsessed with Junhans little solos in this, he always delivers, they all do but he just has a special place in my heart
I have yet to watch and listen to the entire song and mv but I just know after hearing the first 11 seconds I'd love it as its the beat of the song that got me going. These guys are amazing and so unique and that's why I love them. These guys are the future for krock in the industry and these guys are gonna break the industry which is a good thing as we need more groups like them and I'm proud to call myself a villian. Also I don't know if its just me but the beat of the chorus sounds familiar if not the same the Judy's priests song "Breaking The Law"
