@TheSepticguys. I'm currently have xl tent smittybilt it's alot space for 2 and I'm wondering if this comfortable for 2 and with some space left on side ? Thinking about getting hardshell
@@dab0yhdizzle this is a really small hard shell tent. The bed is a little smaller than a full size bed. It is built great. If you are under 6ft tall it will be good but coming from a larger tent you might not like it. For quick fast setup it’s perfect for one it’s great two it can get tight but that’s all depending on your size
Are you getting better mpg with this hard shell vs. your older soft shell tent? I might have missed the weight of the tent in the video. When these started appearing on Amazon and some other inexpensive tents they really seemed to drive down the prices of all RTT. I saw my USA made RTT tent that I bought in December drop over $1500 plus a lot of extras got thrown in.
It has help by a couple MPG. THE WEIGHT WASN’T IN THE VIDEO I DONT THINK. I want to say it was around 130lbs. It’s worth the money and build well but it’s small. I’m 5:11 anyone over 6ft will not be comfortable in this tent. My brother and I sept in it a few weeks ago and we are both 275-300lbs and we had some solder room. I think the bed is 49in wide. I’ll be doing a review if a OVS MAMBA SOON. Please like and subscribe. It really helps
What's the maximum weight capacity for this tent ?
Not sure the max but I know I’ve had 600lbs in the tent and had no issues at all

@@anvilsadventures Thanks for that answer...I'm 6'2" and wondered if I would fit...looks like the answer is no.
@@DorDeKrey I don’t think so. Rough country just released their clamshell tent. $1900ish
What's length of the tent? 88 or 83? Amazon shows a bit conflicting information
The exterior of the tent is 86x50.5. That is from hinge to the latches. Inside anyone over 6ft tall will struggle to get comfortable.
@@anvilsadventures thank you!
@airooter no problem. Like and subscribe. It helps a lot!
wondering where you git extra mat the would fit in..
I bought a 2inch memory foam mattress and cut it to size
How thick is the mattress and did it come with a condensation mat?
Mattress is about 3 inches and it did come with a condensation Mat. The mattress is comfortable but I added a 2in foam mattress and it works great
