When I was recommended these lovely ladies, I thought to myself “where have they been all this time “??? Ever since 2020 and Trump claiming that the election was stolen, this is the only type of news I’ve been ingesting to keep me sane and informed.

I was today years old when I learned of Ben Meiselas and his platform. Thank you for this. Presidential elections give me anxiety. Its nice to know there is some where that I can receive unbiased political information.

In a perfect world Bernie Sanders would be president but since that ship has sailed, I vote for whatever candidate most closely represents his policies and legislation. I believe in climate change, healthcare as a RIGHT not a luxury for the rich, raising the minimum wage to a livable wage, women’s rights to autonomy… at the end of the day I vote BLUE because the Republicans definitely don’t have my back! 🗳
Meidas touch is a really good place for fact based news. They also several other lawyers that explain the legal points In a way that is so easy to understand.

I learned the term and definition “stochastic terrorism” from this podcast and I just want to thank you Mr. Meiselas! Learning defined phenomenon like this helps me to have more confidence in the dialogue I have around people who bring up politics to me. Hello my dears. I am one of your pretty old, lefty, lesbian admirers. In my younger days I used to do assertiveness training, which is a wonderful, wonderful tool. I do depth psychotherapy these days, but I still hold those concepts in my mind. I really like that Pumps was quite clear where her limits were with her son; those she could and those she wasn’t so sure about. You know, each of us has to figure out where those lines are and then take responsibility for the outcome. I think Pumps can do that. Oh, I was really glad to hear Jennifer talking about living in the belly of racism. I do also here in the bay area of California, but I am not confronted with it in that same way. Need I say that I’m a white woman.
So, here’s another thing. If you ever want to talk about therapy, I’d be a good person to talk to. Not because I can quote chapter and verse but because we all have a lot of misconceptions about what it can and cannot do. Let me get out of here or I’m going to become one of those people that you’ve just had it with. They just carry-on a bit too long. Best of both of you and the rest of your crew.

I am an offender and annoyed of the bouncing of the leg. Most of the time, I’m not aware of my leg bouncing. It’s a symptom of anxiety/ADHD. It helps me, unaware, focus on tasks or events happening. If it bothers someone, like a game, plane, doctors office, where the chairs are connected, please politely ask me to stop. I have found other ways to change from the leg bouncing. Love your podcast/show!
