  • The de Havilland Mosquito, known as the "Wooden Wonder," was a fast, versatile British aircraft used during World War II. With its lightweight wooden construction and powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin engines, it excelled in roles like bombing, reconnaissance, and night fighting. The Mosquito's speed and agility made it a vital asset for the Allies, playing a key part in many successful missions, including the attack on the German battleship Tirpitz. Over 7,700 were built, and its legacy as one of the most innovative aircraft of the war endures today.

    The scale on which these airplanes were produced is difficult to truly appreciate. The Mosquito is one of my favorites. This was a great video. You're on the right track.
