@@thetinycanary If you check out my channel, you'll see that I have customised a Lamy safari :) I will be certainly thinking of doing the same to the twisbi :) I'd leave an ink window though as I feel that is important.
Looks like a great little fountain pen. Learned something to, if you screw the piston all the way down, you will cut off the ink flow. Tom, thanks for that tibet of information. No wonder my Opus quit working on me. I never knew. 🙄😖
You can keep it open all the time if you like. Plenty of people do that. It just behaves the same as any pen at that point, which isn’t bad. Just keep in mind when flying that you may want to screw out shut.
I’m thinking about getting the vac mini. So after how long of writing should you open the valve? Would you have to open it if your going to be only writing for 30-45 mins?
I would say it depends on which nib size you're using and how much you would be writing in that span of time. You wouldn't need to keep it open all the time.
I know twisbi mainly do demonstrators, but I would be tempted to buy one to paint.
Would love to know how that works out. I am not a fan of demonstrators but want this pen!

When you screw cap on to post does clip line up on top of pen ?
It does when you figure out where to start threading on the cap.
Like the pen alot

A tip : watch series on instaflixxer. I've been using it for watching loads of movies lately.
@Boone Samuel definitely, have been using instaflixxer for since november myself :)
@Boone Samuel Yup, been watching on instaflixxer for years myself :D
Do I need to always close the valve or can I leave it open?
You need to leave the valve open during longer writing sessions to allow continuous ink flow.
