I haven’t been there. Melissa loves German Food so she would like it there. Love these smaller towns. Reminds me of Woodstock IL where Groundhog Day was filmed. That 🥨 was huge! Free is always good. Great find.
We love German food too. We always fill up on it when we are in Fredericksburg, TX. This looked so good. Great mill museum. Your sister is right by the way. Mean comment. 😂😂.
@@jjjoesmith I was kind of impressed with town of Jasper in general. I was going to French Lick and really only went to Jasper to eat at Schnitzelbank but thought I might as well check out the town while I was there. Glad I did. The guys at the mill were real friendly too. They recommend the county museum in town but I just didn’t have the time. Maybe next time.
At 0:49 walking around kind of reminded me of the middle of the town in Back to the Future 😀 We definitely need to try out the German restaurant 🙂 Strong changes huh did you get in trouble for that one 😂
Enjoyed the visit to Jasper, Tolle. Love visiting cities in the heartland with character! Nice looking mill. I'll also have to mention your traveling companions are a big step up from Rich! Thanks for bringing us along.
There's always something cool to see on the "Tolle" road! You have to put in 51 cents to make your souvenir (1cent) penny? Having to put in the other 50 cents kinda' makes you feel they're charging your for it....(yes, LOL!) 😆 Love the history in your video!
Cool video & neat town! I love walking around towns like these with mom & pop shops in the downtown areas near a courthouse. The mill looks similar to the one I went to in Youngstown. Solid advice, don't get ran over while filming 😂
Hey Tolle, I just love the name Jasper, would make a great name for a pet or child! I had to look it up to see why they used that name. They took it from the Bible, Revelation 21:19, it's the foundation of heaven. You can't beat living in the foundation of heaven ;-)

It does have a similar feel to Woodstock. it is supposed to be one of the better German restaurants in the state.

That restaurant was awesome. you’d love it!
My parents were married in St Joseph's church back in 1956. And I still have family in Jasper
Magnificent church! Wish I could’ve seen the inside of it.
@@TheTolleRoad it is beautiful, and they just cleaned up and fixed all the stained glass windows last year.

Nice looking mill and a cold swim 🤪😂
Couldn’t swim… I just ate
Beautiful city!
I enjoyed it. There is supposed to be a pretty good local history museum that I didn’t make it to.

😆 I think the same thing every time I see a courthouse with a clock
You should see the square now! Construction has been finished, and it looks beautiful.
Oh awesome! Such a cool town.
Those old courthouses are pretty neat and I love some German food ( schnitzel is my favorite) cool mill too!
Schnitzel! 😋

Doesn’t take much to improve upon usual sidekick 😂
I really loved the mill!! Are the stone ground grains, actually done there? Also....that Pretzel... 😲😲
I was assuming they ground them there but to be honest I’m not sure.
Nice small town to explore! Loved that courthouse. That is right up my alley!
You and me both!
I am going to have to visit real soon.
Great town.
“Don’t try this at home kids”
Me: but that is my home
😂

😆 it’s almost like these penny squishing things are for profit.
that restaurant is amazing!

So much better than strip malls filled with the same old places.
I was waiting to see if you jump into the water. Maybe next time.
Forgot my swimming goggles 🥽

Foundation of heaven? They set the standards pretty high there didn’t they! 😂
I’m not going to say something about your pronunciation of Du-boys county names
Appreciate it 😂
Now that's a huge pretzel deserving of a Big Bite! 🦾📺🥨
We love Free, great looking mill. 💯
