Trumbull County’s courthouse looks amazing with those fountains, lights and the monuments! I believe the arch by the Stark County courthouse was an entrance to an old hotel, I heard about it when I was younger but can’t remember the name of it.
Crazy the amount of miles you put on the road.
It amazes me how you can cover so much distance with stops in one day! I'm still loving this series. I two favorites on this one, Wayne kind of had a sort of Tim Burton Batman/Gotham City look to it. But, Trumbull at night with the fountains and memorials tops them all. Honorable mention goes to Stark for the Arc de Triomphe and of course Marilyn. 🤘🤘
Did you see a horse and buggy going through a Gold Star Chili drive thru?
Hey Tolle, for some reason the Trumbull County Courthouse reminds me of the Shawshank Prison in Mansfield, Oh. The sign at New Philadelphia advertising Trumpet in the Land is an outdoor drama depicting the Gnadenhutten massacre of Christian Moravian Indians that some believe started the Indian uprising in Ohio.
There is no excuse for vandalism.
OHIO 666
Are the two coaches behind Dwight D Eisenhower the only British coaches here in the United States?
Mystery Man X and crew should've been flagged before boarding that boat! What a motley crew! Very cool way to get to a baseball game. Love that idea! Rece Hinds is a Florida kid and has a TON of potential.
Rece hits some monster bombs! I'm sure the word will get around on him though and pitchers will make some adjustments and he'll have to do the same.
Always love learning and visiting Presidential locations. Gerald Ford seemed like he was such a badass human being. Enjoyed a nice history lesson with Tolle! Great work my friend!
So many more still out there to visit too
A really amazing start to what promises to be a very cool series!!! These buildings are all so beautiful! I love all the granite, the columns and how many of them had the clock towers as well! Nice to see all those nice old theaters in the county seats as well! Looking forward to the next installment!!!
You have to wonder how much it would cost to build these building in today's dollars.
We all expect a New York version from you in the coming days!
The original Y-Bridge in Zanesville, Ohio was a double barrel covered bridge. It was washed out by a flood and replaced.
Never knew that. I've been to the Y-Bridge a couple of times, too. I know that Vasehendge which was right by that bridge is gone now as well.
Washington Court House: tied for the longest name of a city in the United States.
Should've named it Washington's Court House and then they'd be #1 by themselves.
You are crazy man! My wife was like why, I was like totally something Tolle would do. That would be like 88 separate videos in old days. Something similar I’m planning is recreating the whole day of Ferris Bueller’s Day off. Please tell me you actually know that kid. I use to take photos of all the court houses in IL. Learned so much from John Homes to Columbus. Most of Columbus have been cancelled here in IL. Such a cool adventure.
She isn't the only that has said, "Why?!" 😂 Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? You have to make that vid!
Very cool road trip idea! I couldn’t imagine how long it would take to build those courthouses back in those days.
You have to wonder how these smaller counties were able to afford it back then.
This looks like a great way to get to and from the game. I love that they have swings - though it is weird that they don't seem to face the game. Good to see you out having fun with friends. Especially Mr. X. He seems very excitable. That is probably why the energy meter was off the charts!
@@trvlnthru Mr. X is a human energy meter!
We love seeing covered bridges along our travels. I don't remember ever seeing a double-barrelled span before. That is unique. The Sinclair bridge looks much more like a bridge that would have a troll living under it but you forgot to check under that one. Harley looks like a sweet dog. Thanks for the double barreled bridge coverage!
@@trvlnthru only 6 like it left in the U.S. and you’re right the St. Claire Bridge looks more like a troll area…probably why I didn’t check it 😂
Hey Tolle, did you know???? All of those historical markers you are reading to us were made in Marietta, OH at Sewah Studios. Their historical markers are evidently in all 50 states.
I didn’t until now! I’ve seen them all over the country though… cool they were made in Marietta.
Impressive trip and many miles. It is interesting to see the difference in architecture of each one. One day I will hit each one but not in 4 days😂
You gonna one up me and do it in 3 days???? 🤣
Derek Jeter & Ken Griffey Jr. Was the best to play baseball, their kids should be proud and their families richer than most, people magazine and other magazines, sports, basketball & football, magazines of Michael Braddock
OK I'm not sure ive ever seen a double bridge before!! Wow
There are only a few around. 6, I think.
This is an awesome place! Also my fam and I are in this video. 😂
😂 that's pretty funny! You are all World Famous now! 😂. At least you know what the weird guy that was talking to himself was doing now.
That’s how to go to a game 😎
Beats swimming
Great tour of the HOF. Back in 1997 I did a football trip where I visited the Pro Football HOF, then went on to see a Notre Dame game in South Bend. At that time they had the College Football HOF there too. What a cool place that was with all the great video and broadcast calls, and listening to the fight songs.
Very cool! I know it was near King's Island for years before moving to South Bend. I had always kept saying I was going to visit it when it was at both of those spots but never did. Then when they move it all the way to Atlanta, I finally ended up visiting in back in like 2018 or 2019.
Home run, Tolle!
Boom!
A ballgame with good friends is always a great way to spend the afternoon!!! I loved everything about the paddlewheel boat! No parking issues and it's a great place for pre-game libations and shenanigans!!!! Sorry they didn't sweep the series, but two out of three ain't bad!!!!! Good time!!!!!
If not for the torrential downpour at the very end it would've been pretty nice
Excellent choir
Cool boat ride! I may not know where the Tolle Road leads to next but I do know where it leads to next month😉
Oh sweet! You're going to have to let me know!
To ride that boat…and to walk the pedestrian bridge back over the Ohio River…that would be a perfect day. How far are those points on the Kentucky side? Mystery man X! Hinds is dangerous. Marge was…um…interesting. Only 3 🤮? Do they throw visiting fans overboard? Marlins & White Sox in the fight for the first pick. “In a non-weird way…” You’re in the Sorgi seats. Upper deck by home plate. Redzilla! You need Wooder Ice there on such a day. Elly! The first guy I would think of saying “I would pay to see him play” since Willie Mays. Rece…fail. Was that the wrapper on the burger Wimpy paid for Tuesday?
From where the boat left from it would be about a half mile walk maybe. I think a Brewer fan or two has been tossed over but those were extreme circumstances 😂. Sorgi seats are a nice sport to catch a game... you can see the whole field from a good angle!
Wow 🤩 now that’s a roadtrip 😎
About as far as you can without ever being far from home 😂
Some impressive and beautiful architecture here, Tolle. Loved seeing them without the prison sentence that accompanies a few visits!
Yeah, they are much better looking without bars obstructing the views.
We enjoyed seeing both barrels even more than Harley, Tolle. Seems like he was more impressed by the planter to potentially pee on! Unique bridge and we enjoyed seeing it and the iron bridge. That was quite unique too.
Awesome, can’t wait to see all the courthouses!
Coming soon!
Going to the Sphere next week
@@jeanninechrzanowski6804 I really think you will like it.
That is awesome wish I could of joined ya
Were some LONG days, but I think you would have enjoyed it!
Nice! Very cool to see these! Great idea. I should do this in Florida
Doggo sighting! Nice double bridge! Loved this one 😊
I'm not sure if I've ever seen a bridge like this one before.
88 counties wow Florida has only 67. Some of those courthouses look really spectacular 🤩
Yeah, it is really funny how some of the smaller states have way more counties than states 2-3 times their size.
Nice!!! I live close to the Ironton one. Kind of a nice looking building i must say.
Oh, I agree! Really like the dome on Lawrence County Courthouse.
@@TheTolleRoad Yes, definitely! Me too!
Way to go, Tolle! Love this kind of architecture!
Yeah, I think I've seen you at one or two in Kentucky and/or Indiana.
The actual Washington Court House in Washington Court House!
This is going to be a very cool series! I can't wait to see the full versions!!!!
You say that now... boy I think they are going to be long!
@@TheTolleRoad Bring it! 😎
I live in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Jim Bowsher, The owner and creator of Temple of Tolerance has passed away this year.
Oh wow… I’m so sorry to hear that. I spoke with him on the phone before I visited but he wasn’t able to be there when I arrived. I love stuff like this that is different and comes from such a creative mind that not all would understand.
I didn't know these kind of bridges had a term to describe them...Tolle done taught! lol! Fun info!
If I don't know I just make it up anyway
Great episode buddy. I love how you changed it up and used archival footage as b roll. Continue doing that 😉
Beautiful old bridges. Unfortunately the vandals partly destroyed the original and it had to be moved.
Always some idiot to ruin things.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a double 😎
Supposedly, there are only 6 left in the US.
I never saw a double barrelled covered bridge before, that's cool! There might not be a troll under that bridge but a Tolle was there 😂
I think my original reply didn't post for some reason. From what I understand there are only 6 double barreled bridges left in the US. I'm sure the average under bridge wanderer would much rather run into a troll than a Tolle 😂
