@@langstonrowe8243 For years I’ve said you shouldn’t ever fly a Cessna 180 because from then on you will always compare every other airplane to it and none measure up to it. Great airplane!!!
Love it. My aunt and uncle dropped in for a visit earlier this year in their 185 Skywagon. It was great that they could land on my neighbor's dirt strip a mile from my house, rather than having to land at the closest formal runway 25 miles away. They have a hangar in the corner of an alfalfa field at their place they use as their airport. He flew Cobras and Apaches in the Army.
The 180 has been popular in NZ since 1953. Still very highly sought after for alpine, beach, riverbed, lake, bush, farm, ag, offshore island, and back-country. It does it all. Nothing matches it. As worthy a bird as the DC3.
I have 1500 hours of flying the Cessna 180, it's a great airplane.
