It was fun to stop and think about how I feel about the various companies I've purchased from; via the products I've received. I'm really happy with my DC direct statues but I completed that collection in 2020. I only have one statue from First four Figures, which I love but that was from 2020 as well. Considering this year there are three contenders: XM Studios, Prime 1 Studios and Tweeterhead. From that list my personal favorite is XM Studios, I'll be ordering more from them, after that its Prime 1 followed by Tweeterhead.
Just ordered my first two statues from Prime1Studios, so I would put them on first place for now, too :)
But I will keep an eye on JND, and if Figurama ever got the Berserk license I would be interested in testing the quality of their products as well. Nice overview, thank you 👍🏻

Great video man. Top 3 licensed for me right now would be Sideshow, Queen and TH. Considering prices and quality. Can't really use delivery since pandemic caused so many delays for all companies.
For me i'd go #3 Sideshow #2 Queen #1 XM. Sideshow purely for the huge variety of licenses to choose from and their affordability. And Queen and XM for the high quality and just producing pieces that fit my collection in general.
The detail from XM I think edges out the rest. For lifelike stuff I agree with you that Infinity is killing it but I prefer a little more of the comic book look and lean towards XM followed by Prime1, Sideshow and Tweeterhead. Thanks a always X for the fun content.
Top 3: Sideshow, Prime1 and Queen, big Iron Man / Marvel fan, so I'm having a field day at Queen. Got a Ghost of Tsushima pre-ordered at Prime1, love their quality, but they don't have a lot of licenses that are high on my list going on at the moment.
I think your list is pretty well on point. I think blitzway is still working their way up in my eyes. Their delays are extreme but their quality is hard to beat

I am so friggin happy you made this list. I was actually trying to do this myself recently for my own personal use. Thanks man. My favorite statue I own is the master edition dante devil may cry I got. Lately I've been thinking about finding a secret empire captain America. So I'm going to say prime 1 is my favorite so far. Followed by some customs, then sideshow

Great review as always! I Love PCS personally. I own there 1:3rd spiderman, miles, and Venom statues! I was wondering if you plan on getting the 1:3rd scale venom? I'm shocked you haven't done a review on it yet! Is there something you don't like about it?

When I was younger and started collecting statues there weren't any particular companies making comic book character statues. What Marvel or DC would do is decide what character they would like to make a statue out of and comission a freelance sculptor to produce on for them. Somehow during my older years as I started looking into going back to buying statues I realized that actual companies bid on licensing rights to make and sell their artistic interpretation and concept of said characters. I don't know too many companies but from the ones I do know of XM, Prime, and Sideshow are great. They all make amazing pieces, but if I were to choose one. My top choice would be Sideshow because of the pricing and reliability.
I'd be interested in seeing how this list changes with value taken into consideration
Good list. my top 3 would be sideshow, prime 1, and iron studios. Haven't seen many statues in person from many on your list.
Custom (kingpin, mr sinister on throne), XM (red hulk), sideshow (Jabba/Star Wars) those companies in that order.

I used to buy 10-30 a month. Now I’m buying about 5 and selling 15-20 per month.
Just going quality of pieces, I'd say my top 3 are Prime 1, XM, and Tweeterhead. But factoring in pricing, shipping, customer service, etc, Sideshow would take my overall top spot.
Pretty interesting list. Some really great companies out there and it depends what you're looking for.
I still love PCS and Sideshow, feels like a lot of their holy grails are being slept on right now.
Don’t own any Prime 1 statues but they make fantastic stuff. I am currently waiting on a Tweeterhead statue so it is good to know that they have delays to ease my expectations for when it arrives. They make great stuff though and I am looking forward to when it comes.

I need to see the JD Wonderwoman in person; I’m always underwhelmed whenever I see it on a review, it must be a killer in person! Top three companies for me are pretty standard ; Prime 1, XM, Sideshow. Have some Tweeterhead pieces on order I’m stoked to receive soon!

Definitely prime one for me then XM studios and third is sideshow. Sideshow customer service is pretty good. X maybe you should do a list of all the shops you do business with and rank them. Just a thought 💭
My top 3 are Tweeterhead, Queen Studio, and Weta. I should be recieving my first XM piece later this year, so the ranks may change in the near future. Lol
Infinity studios is aptly named because it takes forever to get a piece from them. Great list. So true that starting out sideshow is probably one of the first companies i heard of. I think sideshow, xm and prime 1 are probably my favourite 3. Have to also give a shout out to iron studios because their x men line is so fun to collect.

For me in no particular order I'd say Sideshow, Prime 1, PCS, and Darkside Collectibles top my list, although I am almost certain I'm gonna be jumping into the custom game soon so I'd have to say they might be my top since I see so many amazing pieces online. I'm really obsessing about customs right now.
Sideshow,Iron Studios and Prime 1. Prime 1 would be #1 but the shipping cost is a huge factor for me.
I like xm a lot, but I wonder if I'm pigeon holing myself now, after seeing your review. JND is so expensive, but probably worth a try.
Top 3 for me would be Prime 1, XM and the third tie between PCS and Iron Studios. I don't have any PCS but I love the TMNT and Masters of the Universe statues they put out, but I do have a few Iron Studios and have a couple on preorder, I like the amount of detail and quality for the smaller scale. Be Excellent.
This was a great video to lay the companies out on the table and rank them. I have to say prime one Studios is definitely number one for me. The variety the qualities the time frame it all works. Number 2 would be probably ranked Queen Studios cuz I like how Life like there statues looks and then number three would-be J&D for the same reasons.
I was into figures falling in love with the statues though 1)prime 1 seems very dope I like 3)sideshow and 2)custom pieces.

Only two statues I have is with Prime1. Would love to get into the custom game if someone made some Beast Wars statues. But doesnt seem like the demand is there for that
I started in 2015 with sideshows t-Rex. At the time, I loved SS, thought they were the best at the time. Now, I only think they’re good for entry level statues, just starting out. I love Prime1, have a few on hand, and waiting on their warrior alien, and Eva-13. Pretty sure I’ll be ordering XM Absolute carnage on Friday. It will be my first XM, and my last statue.
Top 3 easily Prime1, Queen and XM. JND is up there and I own the Joker but price compared to the other three make it tough to justify. Can’t really go wrong with your top 10 list.

XM-P1-custom pieces in that order for me.SS is a distant fourth now. Never owned the other studios' pieces. Some customs are very nice too.
Prime 1 dose some great work but man they are expensive for both the statue and shipping. now that Sideshow is distributing for them i have noticed the cost of shipping go down through them. But when they are hitting you with a shipping bill as much as the statue i draw then line. sideshow at 2 and XM at 1 are ranked up there for me due to that fact.
Dont have that many statues for an opinion. 2 sideshows ( Wolverine vs Hulk and Thor) both are amazing pieces. Truly happy with them.
Agree with prime 1 for #1…XM #2 and sideshow #3. Their call to action Superman is still my favorite statue in my collection.
There are so many these days. Even the custom studios are now growing into fully licensed companies. So its hard. I'm a painter, so for me it's the custom Resin Kit producers such as Narin Sculptor and MarcoArt.
Prime 1 is my top ,dynamic and paint job is always on point.
Second and third place is a flip coin between XM studio and Queen studio.
I am loving the custom studio life. Like xxxxxxxx studio, yyyyyyyyy studio and zzzzzz studio. Just killing it.
Then XM studio and Prime1 are my go to's. Really enjoy the attention to detail and inventory.
Queen Infinity P1 .The busts from Queen and infinity are leauges beyond the rest.
Prime 1 / XM / Queen / Customs for me due to the focus of my collection. You should do a video of your top 10 statues in your entire collection
I've done multiple times. Will probably do it as a filler later this year.

I think all these companies are good it just depends on the character and how are they designed but my top three are sideshow, iron studios and prime 1
I don't have much to go on. On this one because I only have sideshow collectibles statues but I do have an old school PCS which is amazing I do think back in the day pcs made some really great ones but sideshow is probably my go to.

I really, really wish that Prime1 would go back to marvel and DC in 1:4 scale. All the amazing concepts in 1:3 scale that I can’t display because they won’t fit with anything else….it’s killing me. I gotta say though - sideshow has been doing MUCH better over the last two years. The stuff Martine Canale and Daniel Bell have been putting out for them has been fantastic and the finished products, though not as high-end as prime 1 or XM, has still been a tremendous value
First 4 figures is pretty cool but their customer service is obnoxiously bad sometimes

I don't buy statues frequently enough to know, but I'd say XM, Prime 1 and Queen(I don't think I have a single QS piece) are probably the best overall for quality. There are many times where I'd say particular statues beat out others despite this. Sideshow has great customer service but they've gone downhill with the competition and reward point restrictions. Iron Studios do great stuff but some QC issues and generally smaller scales. When I think about actual pieces that I want however, I'd say XM, Sideshow and customs.
Queen studios busts have looked the most realistic that I've ever seen... Unfortunately I can't afford statues of that pricepoint so I'll just enjoy from videos!

Very interesting list but I totally agree with prime. I own a couple of there pieces the quality on both is outstanding.
I just won figurama's new statue from castlevania so I'm happy with them, but prime 1 makes amazing statues
For me my top 3 are:
1. Prime 1
2. PCS
3. Queen Studios, maybe?
I pick PCS as number two because of their vast array of statues based on different IPs. They dont just release Marvel or DC like XM, JND, Queen etc. Out of the big boys theyre most likely to release a statue based off of lesser known characters. They seem to be the only ones willing to do provocative girls as well. Creativity and doing things others are too afraid to do is very important to me. Along with their rising quality.
Top 3: Prime 1, Queen Studios, XM
1- XM, 2- Sideshow, 3- well, just for the Transformers line I have to go with Imaginarium Art
Best studios based on best statues,...this list would probably change 6x/day for me. But here goes
1. Queen Studio (based on their busts, eg Alita)
2. JND (based on WW)
3. Prime1 (based on the amount of smiles when I look around my collection)
For me it is Prime 1 then XM studios & I am still a fan of Tweeterhead because of the MOTU line. If I am honest I have never had any statues from 5 on your list, so that being said Iron studios would be my number 4. Your list makes total scence though. Cheers👍🏻🍻

Good list although I think XM needs to be higher. I'd go Prime 1, XM, and Queen as my top 3 right now.
Prime Studios is still my top company too. I love my Hush Superman and first Hush Batman a lot. My favorite so far is my Dark Knight Returns Superman...just amazing in person.

Yes. That attack on titans diorama is fire. This list is uhhh pretty accurate in my opinion.

I don't own a crazy amount. I have statues from, sideshow, PCS and iron studios. From what I own I think the sideshow sabertooth was an incredible statue by sideshow.
Prime 1 studio #1 everything as a hole statue looks amazing and ties together where queen studio are great but lacks on there bases some. XM studios all around great, I'm just more into movie pieces. Love there Spidey line,
X man line are great and transformer line looks great. Sideshow some great pieces, Thor of brimstones and Iron studio's original cap and ironman 43 and blitzway Rocky 2 still my top favorites, Alot of great pieces out there by alot of different companies.when I started I was very selective and now so many new wows .lol😁

I started on Sideshow over 4 years ago. They have good quality and prices (keeping their costs down) for broad U.S. collectors; distributing other brands like Spec Fiction does. Last year, I started buying from F4F, Queen Studios and Prime 1. May be too early for me to rate these companies in my novice brand collecting status as I go. My top 3 for now; Sideshow, Tweeterhead and Queen Studios. XM’s avg. prices $900-$1,200+ on Marvel. Wish F4F would get licenses for the original Donkey Kong with Mario and Princess Peaches, and other classics; Gauntlet, Rampage, Double Dragons, Karate Champ, Space Harrier, Splatterhouse, Time Crisis, and Area 51. Plus golden age anime; Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Macross, Gundam, Speed Racer, Giant Robo.

I've never had an infinity studio piece but I felt really bad when I saw your video on the dragon piece. Probably would never buy a piece from them.
I agree. Prime 1 Studios continues to make the best statues and it includes all my favourite franchises from the past. Their Berserk line is amazing!
I like sideshow simply because most of there statues are in my price range. I would get xm x men line if I could afford them

1. Prime 1 easily with (Superman and doomsday) being my two favorite from them. 2. Queen studios, they’re doing so many great things and the quality/paint app is SO GOOD. I have hulk on throne and that’s top notch. 3. XM but I definitely agree that their regular statues aren’t that great but the monstrous ones are epic. Warbuster, maestro, white knight etc. my favorite statue is still V1 surfer as well 💪
I'm still too noobish in this hobby and I probably will always be. I mostly buy Sideshow and have a handful of XM. Only have one Prime 1 and that's really it. So I can't really put together a top list. I guess I'm only really familiar with the top three, Prime 1, XM, and Sideshow. I know there are tons of studios out there, but I can't afford to look at others, hah.
These outrageous prices are not ok,it's goona be hard for new collecters to come in to the game
if i had to choose id probably say sideshow, good customer service and there price point always seems fair and competitive. Then id have to go XM studios there also pretty comparable to sideshow.
