I think artists need to start showing these companies way more love and ditch the big brands. I get that Bishop and FK irons are good machines, but there is no reason at this point they should cost as much as they do. The only reason they get away with it is because they make people feel like if you have a bishop you’re suddenly gonna be a genius at tattooing.
They need to make more machines with this adjustable design for throw .
Do you feel the adjustable parts would hold up well over time or ever come loose during a tattoo or strip out easily based on how it felt to you personally while tightening it?
I don’t think it would. When I was using it I almost never had to change the stroke on it. I always left it in 4mm stroke and it didn’t feel shitty or like it would brake if I adjusted it a lot.
@@adamdarklord awesome…thanks brother and thanks for all the other reviews as well. Wish there was a way to keep using all of the machines all the time and give a heads up of when something fails but I know that’s not realistically possible

I believe this machine has a one year warranty so if something were to brake or ware down they should fix it in the first year. I believe I’ll be making more videos on this machine before the end of the year, I liked it that much
@@adamdarklord beautiful news. I think I’m finally gonna pull the trigger on this as my new one after researching forever. Wanted adjustable stroke but knew they aren’t built to last and direct drive is better. While it’s not a quick in-tattoo switch of strokes it’s still the best thing I’m gonna find I feel for an all in one machine that might hold up for a long time.

Is the grub screw adjustment on the cam a noticeable "in position" or (notch feel like a swatch cam) or.. is it just a linear type adjustment with other placements within the hash marks located on the counterweight?
Idk if you watched the full review video on the channel or the Turbo vs the WOS machine video I made.
You can loosen the grub screw and slide the cam back and forth freely, no notch feeling. There is a line on the cam that you can line up to the stroke length indicated by an arrow.
You can set the cam in any position past the arrow or in between so you can do basically any stroke length you want.
Hopefully that helped answer the question lol
Compare to the bishop packer? How does it go?
The Turbo machine doesn’t hit as hard as the Packer. But you can adjust the stroke on the Turbo to feel better for you

@@younewser Each stroke length has a cam weight on it that’s perfectly balanced for that stroke length.
It has the removable battery cells that are cheap to replace.
It has different modes in the machine that allows you to adjust the strength of the motor. In total between strokes, modes and grips there’s over 100 different configurations you can have the machine in.
The Acus machine has the best percussion and balance of every single part in the machine compared to any machine on the market.
I still say, start with the Turbo and save up for the Acus
You have to swap the cam to a heavier and longer cam to change the stroke to hit harder. All you're doing is changing the needle depth. Get a direct drive that you can swap the whole cam and weigh the difference. Swash plate adjustable stroke and these new designs are bogus. TRUST
