Can we see the menu screen?? Can we see the system settings? Can we see the OS running on the console?? Can we see a game boot up??? Can we see anything that would indicate that this console is ready for production and not just simply an Easter egg facade.
I'm simply testing not doing a review or promoting, they do have a few videos of games booting on their official TH-cam. If I ever get a unit for review I'd love to show that.

OK I'm a spectator here...but there's a few weird choices and red flags here. If I was a company besieged with negative comments and I was sending out 'test units'... First thing I'd do is send to big outlets like IGN, Kotaku etc... You get to have these huge voices go 'WOW! we were wrong' and if you think there's a conspiracy... Send it to big video game channels like Rerez or something who have no stake in the whole thing... Imagine the crazy few days when thhe system is shown to be real and work and good... Minds blown, orders through the roof, investors clamouring.... But the team send a few units of dubious origin to a very small number of people who supported the system ruthlessly with, and I mean no disrespect, hardly a reach that a company would want... Yeah of course the company wants to reward its loyal fans... But the fact no units went out to anyone else is... Well it's weird. I really don't think this is going to come out and maybe they think this will start some grassroots movement or whatever... But I don't think there will be units in the shops, I don't think we will see servers up and running and I just don't have any faith now in the system being a thing. I mean if you wanted it in shops by Christmas 22 you missed the mark by 6 months... There is a big shortage of chips as it is... And who is going to be first? Some massive corporate entity like Samsung or Sony or NEC... Or Intellivision? Sure the Snapdragon chip is what... 8 years old, but they still need to be manufactured... And since Intellivision hasn't made a statement... I think you can say no chips or boards for the Amico will be made for at LEAST 6 months. And if they were so proud of their controller and all... Make a video, no cuts where the Amico boots up and shows the controller working etc... Its a pantomime here... Anyone who spent money on this... I really really genuinely do hope you get your console...i really do. There's a lot of hate on you guys and all you want is to play games. I hope I'm proved wrong for your guy's sake. Congratulations to your Amico. From their financial standpoint I don't think Intellivision is able to produce more units, but I would like to see it happen. Not for me, but for the people who founded or pre ordered the Amico that would be awesome.
They need to get 100000 of the 1gb usb thumb drives with the amico logo on the side. Then there should be a apology video on the thumb drive saying we will put all the completed games online for free play and offer after amico nft to everyone affected and consider it a bust. Atleast have some balls to say you messed up

This is really cool. An actual Amico in a home environment! The boot up screen is nice (They did a very cool job with the logo animation. I like how they made the "C" and "O" into eyes, the "M" has a heart in it, and the "A" gave a nice quick little "cuddle" to the "M" and the dot on the "i" bounces). So far I'm liking what I see. On a side note, the cat REALLY, REALLY wanted to be in this video. LMAO. 🤣🤣🤣

The video says "prepare for testing". It was just the running man and the Amico logotype, no testing at all. After all these years Intellivision could at least have some games ready for testing. They had the chance to prove that it's not a scam product. As it stands, the company delivers nothing but empty promises. Many people make fun about the Amico project, but I don't think it's funny. It is an insult to the everyone who invested time and money on this.

its because this isnt for reviewing or showing games, this is strictly for testing and giving input on stability and user experience, im sure they will send out review units to people once the mass production and shipping starts, for now these are just pilot units,still final units, but used for testing.

This doesnt sit well at all. I scrolled through comments to see if it was answered or if i was missing something but i wasnt.... they send out units to about 5 people it seems (ive only seen 2), they make them sign an NDA but does the whole "look its really here" thing without provings its a real console (very easily done with a breakdown video of one of these "test units"), wont allow anything else to be shown beside a boot up, and then im seeing "when i get a review unit i'll be able to make a video" when these are supposed to be the final product. Why would a seperate finished console need to be sent if these are im fact finished consoles? And STILL no update beside all the negative ones that keep turning up.
Just a tester here, These aren't for advertising or being shown off, these are specific for testing and not for review or promoting. Only Reason i showed the few videos that i did is because i reached out to Intellivision out of my own excitement and asked if they would please let me make a couple videos, they didnt send these out to promote, this was for hands on testing only. Now i do have some footage i sure hope i can show in the future of certain things, but most screen footage shows things that havent been seen by the public, thus the NDA. and yes there are tons of crazy negative videos and comments out there, here we like to stay positive and get updates direct from the company. as of now Just waiting to hear about a manaufacturing Plan. Thats about it. Wish i knew More.

Is it the same unit unboxed by the other youtuber? If I were this company I would send in units on the same exact time so people wouldn't think it's just one unit roaming around.
There aren't any physical games. There's RFID codes and the promise of the game. There's no game data on any of those 'physical editions'. Unless you want cheap cardboard cases, a cheap metal coin, and a piece of plastic, you aren't missing out. I would be very surprised if those servers ever get online to be honest. For anyone who spent money ordering one, I hope you get your console or money back but I wouldn't be counting on it.

Camera was a little far back to see it all properly but I guess that was a terms and condition.

Will you please show the console’s LED lights in action? Can you show your viewers how it looks with the controller skins? Does your Amico unit have all the original Intellivision games installed on it or do you have to download them from the store?

How long does the system take to boot?
like from a cold boot as you saw thats the openeing so like 35 seconds or so as seen. heck my xbox takes longer.
@@DJCGAMESTUDIOS Your xbox is also loading up a much, much more advanced operating system. The amico is basically one quarter of a nintendo switch in terms of horsepower, with zero quarters of fun.

its because this isnt for reviewing or showing games, this is strictly for testing and giving input on stability and user experience, im sure they will send out review units to people once the mass production and shipping starts, for now these are just pilot units,still final units, but used for testing.

my founders will be woodgrain, i belive the pilots are all black, but not sure what other people have.
This doesnt sit well at all. I scrolled through comments to see if it was answered or if i was missing something but i wasnt.... they send out units to about 5 people it seems (ive only seen 2), they make them sign an NDA but does the whole "look its really here" thing without provings its a real console (very easily done with a breakdown video of one of these "test units"), wont allow anything else to be shown beside a boot up, and then im seeing "when i get a review unit i'll be able to make a video" when these are supposed to be the final product. Why would a seperate finished console need to be sent if these are im fact finished consoles? And STILL no update beside all the negative ones that keep turning up.
Just a tester here, These aren't for advertising or being shown off, these are specific for testing and not for review or promoting. Only Reason i showed the few videos that i did is because i reached out to Intellivision out of my own excitement and asked if they would please let me make a couple videos, they didnt send these out to promote, this was for hands on testing only. Now i do have some footage i sure hope i can show in the future of certain things, but most screen footage shows things that havent been seen by the public, thus the NDA. and yes there are tons of crazy negative videos and comments out there, here we like to stay positive and get updates direct from the company. as of now Just waiting to hear about a manaufacturing Plan. Thats about it. Wish i knew More.

There aren't any physical games. There's RFID codes and the promise of the game. There's no game data on any of those 'physical editions'. Unless you want cheap cardboard cases, a cheap metal coin, and a piece of plastic, you aren't missing out.
I would be very surprised if those servers ever get online to be honest. For anyone who spent money ordering one, I hope you get your console or money back but I wouldn't be counting on it.

I have a great feeling about the intellivision it must feel great to have one in the house. It definitely has a Wii 2.0 vibe to it the more I think about it which is a good thing if you ask me.
in some aspects yes it is with motion control games. But it really does have that intellivision Vibe and its wonderful :)
