Just taken delivery of one of these log splitters, buying decision helped by this review. Tried out on various timber this evening and I agree it’s an awesome machine for the money and it doesn’t take up much room when stored in vertical position. Can’t wait to put it to work. Thanks MN 👍

Nice machine but it looks like its a bit awkward to move around having the ram over the handle and having to push down on handel , but a good demonstration 👌👌👍👍

I'm in the market for one, Would it be best to get the slightly bigger 22ton, I have watched both videos and I'm on the fence on what one to invest in. However I do like the footprint of the 15 ton! Any advice would help massive!
Both are really good, but the 22ton does go through the heavy stuff a lot easier. If your budget allows I would go for the 22ton but if not then the 15 ton will be more than adequate for most tasks.

Looks easier to use the two handles in the vertical setting than the horizontal. In the horizontal position you're either reaching over the ram, or the wedge to push/pull the handles.
I do see your point but for the sake of your back, the horizontal setting would be more preferred.
