Especially Han Donggeun jesus christ that voice is gold. You won't hear a very deep, husky and full singing voice like that in kpop. Baubless K omg I always thought most female kpop rappers sounded the same. That’s one of the the main reasons my sister was turned off from girl groups. She wanted a girl group that was heavy in hip-hop and rap and wanted they’re dances to be like boy groups but no. She likes CL tho.

they have unique voices but unfortunately the empre does not let them show it, there are few times where they are heard singing with their real tone, unfortunately many of those clips contain a lot of copyright for the song or because they are from some program.

He made this video on contralto th-cam.com/video/sPZeRss_BBU/w-d-xo.html and he mentioned that he did not think there was any contralto in the Kpop industry. He even said that he would argue that Moonbyul is a mezzo-soprano. Of course, he might be wrong but fans shouldn't throw around "Moonbyul is a contralto" as a fact when it is highly debatable.

I feel like the catagory "unique" is for idols who's voice you can recognize very easily. They have very distinct voices and some of the idols here have normal basic kpop idol voice like you know what I mean? >< you don't even have to stan them or know their songs,, you'll be like- "yEs I KnoW hiM/hEr"
yeah, some idols when you hear their voice it has such a unique color and you can recognize it immediately. i think there are a few idols who's voices are like this that you dont have to stan to know. for example: taehyung (deep baritone), haechan (nasal, high voice), hyuna and edawn (nasal), and jungwoo (very soft quiet voice). very easy to pick out. if these idols became a group... omg

We all know that Taehyung is a professional when it comes to low notes and rasps, even though he ain't doing the rasps anymore nowadays. :( And yes, Jin can do pretty damn low notes as well, but naturally Jin doesn't have a deep voice. Onew’s Voice have that unique color.. just like his talking voice. It’s soft but still powerful.. I can’t describe it fully. It fits many types of music too. If Onew trained for Opera it’ll work too. His voice fits it too.

I think people tend to confuse “unique” with “good voice”. there’s a lot of people in this video who I thought had a really nice voice, but their vocal quality or singing style isn’t really unique. and that’s fine! there’s nothing wrong with that! but I think if you’re making a video about unique voices, you should pick people who sound different because of their voice or singing style. good singers should be a different video 😅

Whenever you here Taehyung sing you know it’s him. His voice deep and sensual, it makes u feel something. It’s extremely soothing but at the same time rough and sexy. His voice doesn’t always match BTS bc they usually put jimin or jungkook bc their voice matches what they are singing. But Taehyung is a whole different breed. Everything about Taehyung is different from other idols. Can’t wait for his Mixtape. -My Opinion.
IMO Tae and Jin sound really good together as well. It's because Tae and Jin have similar techniques the same way Jungkook and Jimin share many stylistic choices. But the four of them together is really a gift to BTS. If only they knew to utilise each voice better. For example in some songs the parts are divided in a bad way. Sometimes Tae should get 1,5 verses, but not the chorus if it's more suitable to Jungkook/Jimin. In stead they make Tae sing lines that doesn't really show off his true colours. Jungkook does all their guide tracks so it's understandable that most songs are within his comfortable range. In stead they make Tae sing lines that doesn't really show off his true colours. Whenever you here Taehyung sing you know it’s him. His voice deep and sensual, it makes u feel something. It’s extremely soothing but at the same time rough and sexy. His voice doesn’t always match BTS bc they usually put jimin or jungkook bc their voice matches what they are singing. But Taehyung is a whole different breed. Everything about Taehyung is different from other idols. Can’t wait for his Mixtape.

IMO Tae and Jin sound really good together as well. It's because Tae and Jin have similar techniques the same way Jungkook and Jimin share many stylistic choices. But the four of them together is really a gift to BTS. If only they knew to utilise each voice better. For example in some songs the parts are divided in a bad way. Sometimes Tae should get 1,5 verses, but not the chorus if it's more suitable to Jungkook/Jimin. In stead they make Tae sing lines that doesn't really show off his true colours. Jungkook does all their guide tracks so it's understandable that most songs are within his comfortable range. In stead they make Tae sing lines that doesn't really show off his true colours.
