Funny thing is, Matthew, when I arrived during the beer festival a couple of months back I was astounded how big, bold and beautiful it was inside. I thought 'this is a church worthy of more than twelve minutes commentary - I'll do my research and hopefully do it jusice. Obviously, as you can hear, I couldn't get access. It wasn't the 'usual' locked door with a keyholder living miles away. This time it was the entire perimiter that was padlocked - never made it to the South door. Really sad because if you look at their website you are provided with the opening and closing times. It appears to be a problem hereabouts with churches such as Whittlesea being 'out of bounds', yet if you go down the road and see my commentary on Ramsey, they were so accommodating going beyond themselves to help me.
@@matthewpayton Hello, As you may have noticed I am gradually moving in a southerly direction - today I covered some churches around the Wisbech area which I shall be sharing later when they have been edited. And so to answer your question ’Yes’I will be moving towards March in the near future. Thank you for your support.
It's such a shame that the house of God must be locked to anyone who seeks entry...
That spire is stunning, shame about it being locked 😊
I went to a service there in 1994.
