Wow, I LOVED this vlog, Sojourner! 😃 I really appreciate your attention to detail and focus on minority-owned sights, sounds and eats, when available. The train details were so helpful. The Niagara Falls activities were so cool and adventurous. Wonderful content!
I love you! I love the way you travel! You travel like me! You did not take one selfie...you just enjoyed the experience and that was such a breath of fresh air.
I'm glad you made it up here. Hubby and I have often been to Niagara Falls, my first 6 years we lived close enough for day trips (in the 60s, the caves were free to explore, decked out in the yellow Macintosh rain gear). In January, we're going to be taking the Maple Leaf from Niagara Falls (much less expensive than from Toronto) for an MSC cruise departing and arriving back in New York and back north again. If you're doing this trip again, and you've kept the Presto card, take the Go Train. It's definitely less expensive, $18.09 to or from Toronto, and easy access online to check the schedules. We're actually taking it from Barrie to Toronto, a few hours later, the train to Niagara Falls (hubby doesn't like the bus 😄), staying overnight and catching the Maple Leaf at a reasonable hour.
Great vlog! I’m a new subscriber & I loved this video, it’s very informative! I’m going to Niagara Falls for New Year’s with my fiancée 🥰🤗 I can’t wait!
Loved this vlog! I've done this whole route, but I appreciate how you really packed this with black owned business in the area. Now I have to go back and visit with a new lens. Keep up the good work!
My childhood!! Spent a lot of summers in Niagara Falls. And the train ride to Toronto is just beautiful! We took it often from Rochester. Glad you enjoyed!
You really packed in a lot! When I went to Niagara Falls as a grad student in Albany, NY (also took the train), I enjoyed myself but I didn't do half as much as you did. Looks like a blast. And I love Toronto, it's my favorite city. Kensington Market is my favorite cool neighborhood there.
Some of my college friends took a girls car 🚗 trip to London, Ontario via Detroit City which was very nice! We stayed over the weekend... I would have loved to have gone to Toronto! 😉😏
New to your channel. Getting inspired to do solo traveling, I do enjoy the company but you miss out when no one wants to do what you want to do. Love your channel
I was born and raised in Toronto and I’ve always worked downtown and I love watching videos of people who visit cause I always learn about cool new things! Its always great seeing your city from a fresh new perspective ❤ my restaurant try list has definitely grown 😊
This blog was AMAZINGGGGG, I was hooked the entire time. I love how intimate you were with us. You have the BEST itinerary and food options in every city you went to. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I never wanted to go to Niagara Falls even more now. The food looked AMAZINGGGG, but it’s next to that red lipstick or gloss you had on. 😂😭😭 I neeeed it, would you mind sharing?
@@yahbyerind thank you so much!! And haha so the red gloss is The Lip Bar’s Vixen and I have a matte red lipstick by them too called Bawse Lady that I loveeee
Love this trip! I’ve been to both sides of Niagara but each time fine there is more to do. I haven’t done many of the things you done and would also love to explore more of Niagara on the Lake and their wine region. How many days did you spend in Niagara and how many in Toronto?
Do mind me asking the name of the hotel you stayed at the view was just amazing? I’ve been there before but stayed on the NY side would love to take the Amtrak and stay in that hotel.
