Tarp and bivvi camp up on langlee crags in cheviot hill's Northumberland. Using the snugpak stratosphere bivvy and terra nova equipment Adventure one tarp.
I'm joined by Andy for The mackham mountaineer channel and Emma from Emz Adventures pops in for a chat so a cracking night was had by all.
the weather was perfect until the winds picked up but a fantastic place with amazing views and a cracking sunset.

Brilliant spot and some amazing views, looks well worth the effort of getting up there. Impressed with how you lay everything out, it`s so tidy, my camps look like a bomb has gone off until I clear it all up in the morning.😂👍

Jimmy lad any oil related product does the midges in I use after sun, or sun lotion, oil ulay any oil based lotion man 🏴🕺👍they hate otoh and great for complexion put years on you man 😊

Mint hew, canny camp, I do enjoy your hill trips, the woods are great but the hills offer the views, mind it's all polished off with ya crack like🤣 Emz❤️ ah hey it's like going to Paris and seeing the tower, Cheviot has a 2faces and one of them belong to Rollo, always puts a smile on everyone's chops.

@@LundysWildcampBushcraft If you have eyes to see it and ears to hear it, it's all around us but you have to tap into a higher plane of existence. There's more to it than I could even explain. I'm not crazy btw. I'm tapped into things greater than ourselves and our perception of reality is limited by our abilities to sense these things. Life is awesome, god is magnificent. Nice setup, I love tarp/bivvy camping although I just use a dutch army poncho instead. I carry a piece of polystyrene foam pool noodle with me and use that to create a hoop at the bottom end of a bivvy - by simply using boots to create the arch using the noodle. Ticks 2 boxes - storing your boots inside and creating an extra hoop for space.

Lovely video jimmy av sat in hospital all day and videos just made my day and realise why I love camping I’ve just had a wild camp at edmondbuyers consett lovely place but jimmy I injured my back collecting wood hopefully be back to normal soon take care jimmy did that wind let you get much sleep

@LundysWildcampBushcraft I think as long as you're downwind of the device it seems to work. Good luck with that when your sitting on top of a hill with winds whipping round you lol.
I'd give the little citronella sticks a go, though. I watched you using them on one of your recent camps.
