You are so right about the age brackets. Up until i reached 40, i had never had anything wrong with me , never even been in a hospital. I turned 40 and all hell broke loose , i kid you not. Diagnosed with DCIS at 40, my skin has changed, rosacea on my face, two years ago i had my right ovary removed and tubes cause of a 10 cm cyst, periods where i thought i was hemorrhaging and now earlier this year was diagnosed again with breast cancer in the same breast. Im currently waiting for my sentinel node biopsy results. It has been a roller coaster!

At first I watched it because I have a problem with my breast and I have so analyses to do and I wanted to listen to some stories about breast cancer even though I shouldn’t. But felt touched by her story. Such wise word from a young person.
I saw in the comments that she passed away. May her soul rest in peace, she’ll be deeply missed.
I'm doing an assignment on mastectomy and I decided to just get a live life story so I can connect to this project, but honestly I can't say that I understand the process of this u can only Imagine how this was and I have been so motivated separate from my school assignment.u are strong and positive, optimistic and promising and this is just one of the most beautiful energy I have seen in a while.I grately appreciate this.thank u

Hi Wot a fabulous lady & so, so beautiful inside & out .Any-one who knows her r very lucky her children r very lucky .I hope she is still doing well.I am a breast cancer survivor ov 10 yrs I didnt av a grt diagnosis. I also ad chemo 1st as my tumour was so large it was inoperable, thankfully the chemo shrank it down so i could b operated on it was in my lymph nodes they were removed 2 then followed thru with radiotheraphy .I am very lucky 2 still b around.Your attitude 2 ur illness & ur out look & ur personality & strength ov character r very important 2 ur out come.I am sending all my love & prayers 2 this lovely lady & any-one else goin thru the same thing. Have faith god bless you all.X💕🌈🙏🥰X

I'm 53 yrs and I have been treated for triple negative on my right breast and herz 2 on my left side I'll have double mastectomy tomorrow and I feel the same way you do. Bless you for your vulnerability to share your feelings and your thoughts and experiences I'm very grateful. 💖💗💗💖

I congratulate you on being a survivor. I too had breast cancer, triple negative also. My mom died from breast cancer at 69. I too am proud enjoying life daily. I was reconstructed, but went from G cup to a C cup. Stay fierce and fight. You are an amazing women!

Yea, maybe you're right, but everyone will at some point pass. So I encourage everyone reading this, to not let whatever you face bring you down, fight for living a colourful life fill of joy and to rise above any circumstances and gloom that may be present in your life. There is still beautiful things to treasure, especially the love of people who you care about.
Life is a bed of roses, people just forget - roses have thorns!! But despite that, they remain beautiful and fragrant. This lady, as well as me and most people in life, experienced deep thorns.. But she's still beautiful and strong and gave it her best fight. And I too will continue to fight, despite the cancer thorn. Rise above, and smell the roses and appreciate the beauty in life. :)

Wow. She spoke my life. What I’m currently in the middle of. I’m stage 3, triple negative. Will have to have a mastectomy in a few weeks with radiation to follow. Pending an appointment with the plastic surgeon to find out what reconstruction options MAY be available for me. I know all these ups and downs and questions and feelings. She spoke so articulately about it all. I felt like a bobble head the whole time watching, I understood all of it. I pray, since this was done so long ago, that she’s healthy and happy!!!!!

Jesus(God) healed me of breast cancer among many other things including fear, anxiety, depression and deep rooted anger. I dont blame people for doubting because i used to be one if those people but if you seek the truth with your whole heart you will find Him. And NOTHING CAN COMPARE. no one can put a value on it. A relationship with our creator is priceless and endless. When this lady called cancer a blessing in disquise i totally get it. Though some days are like "hell" over all it has brought many lessons that can only be learned by going through 1st hand. It also has given me a new perception on suffering for Gods glory and life in general. It also has inabled me to walk much closer to the one who holds tomorrow. We may not know what tomorrow holds but we know who holds tomorrow and His name is Yeshua/Jesus. Take your time and trust your instincts God gave us our instincts for good reason. Stella, I have newly diagnosed BC and this story touched my heart. I am very curious about Shannon's wellbeing. Can you give us an update? I can't find one anywhere and I'm hoping she pulled it out of the fire and is still kicking! I'd like to be able to send her my love and respect for being such an amazing warrior!
please turn to Jesus He loves you very much, He is the God of miracles, i was ill for a long time, but the doctors couldn't really help me, i don't blame them there was only so much that they could of done for me, Then Jesus gave me a miracle and healed me, God has done amazing things in my life and in the life's of people i know and love, He can do the same for you and yours, When you need Him call on Him, The bible tells us in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, He is the God of comfort and will be there for you when you call on Him, He will protect you, God saved someone i love from an illness leading to death, There is nothing impossible to God, Its as simple as accepting Jesus, and Trusting Him for your Salvation, He is the healer of the body and Saviour of our souls, And if you truly seek Him Jesus will answer you, i know this because He answered me when i called out to Him,

Sorry to ask but I’m a cancer survivor with breast cancer stage 3. I get it from chronic stress ihad bad problems my life is like hell. In that time before cancer I was healthy Idont eat bad food. My question is do you have chronic stress in your life ? All the women I met had bad stress cause them cancer
I think my Bc was caused by stress.
I’ve just been diagnosed with breast cancer and I have chronic stress. It’s made me completely reevaluate my life, I’ve just been existing these last 5 years and not living! . I’m still going to work as much as possible through chemo but only because I don’t have worry about finances but I’m not going to get stressed about work anymore. If I find it too tough then I’ll go off sick and I’ll manage.
I start chemo next week, I just want to get started and come out the other side and start living & enjoying my life. Travelling with my son & going on adventures ❤️
