I am soon to be confirmed into my local Eastern Catholic Church and I can say these videos are awesome! So thanks a lot man for creating them! A thought I just can't let go of is that, sadly, the theological truths of Catholicism sometimes prove to be way too complicated and challenging for the minds of most modern people (mostly atheists & protestant Christians in my observation). The issue, of course, isn't with the truth itself but with the majority of people who've become so narrow-minded and wish to be spoon-fed everything in a way so brief and quick that they just can't sit for long enough to appreciate the fullness of the truth of the Church and so instead they go and get fed junk in the overly simplistic modern protestant parishes. Kinda reminds me of how many people would rather go for a cheap bland McDonalds instead of cooking themselves a delicious home-made meal just cause it's easier, cheaper, faster and requires less altogether. The topics of the immaculate conception of Mary, Purgatory, indulgences and a few more always seem to rattle the jimmies of modern theological minimalists a.k.a. protestants as they require a much deeper dive into writings, truth and self-observation than what they're used to. Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Cheers from Bulgaria bro!

@@Catholic-Christian insulting huh typical Catholic when they don’t like when truth comes out. It’s mention within the scriptures that no one is sinless only Jesus.
Mary the mother of Jesus was a godly and blessed woman, but she was not without sin. Jesus was the only human without sin. Jesus “had no sin” (2 Corinthians 5:21). “In him is no sin” (1 John 3:5). Nothing of the sort is ever said of Mary or anyone else. Jesus Christ is fully human, but He is also fully God (John 1:1). He is the Lamb of God, “without blemish or defect” (1 Peter 1:19), a title and description no other person can claim.
As an ordinary part of the human race, born into the world the ordinary way, Mary was not without sin. Romans 3:23 teaches that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, and there is nothing in the Bible to suggest that Mary was an exception to this rule. The apostle John wrote, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us” (1 John 1:8-10). The “we” in this passage includes Mary, the mother of Jesus. To claim Mary is without sin is an example of “deceit.”

The fact that protestants think they own the term "Christian" and can say who is or isn't a Christian based on if someone holds to the heresy of sola fida is laughable. We're being kind by referring to them as Christian despite them being heretics. They may truly think they're Christian, but Christians have faith in Christ, which means submitting to His Church, not the doctrines of men. You can't love Christ and hate His Body. I make sure whenever I debate or argue with protestants to say "Christians believe..." instead of "Catholics believe..." when speaking of Catholic dogma or doctrines. @karldaren1048 We disagree on theology but at the end of the day Jesus said: If you dont believe me then believe my works(miracles). We have world renowned miracles like the Eucharistic Miracles and the many holy apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Apparitions that converted countries. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Akita, Our Lady of Las Lajas and more. Our God is living and the miracles in the church testify to the theology of the Catholic Church that is pleasing to God. Go to Jerusalem today and you will find a Catholic Church in every spot where Jesus was, taught and performed. Go to Antioch ( Antakya, Turkey) where they were first called Christians and you will find a Catholic Church. You will find a Catholic Church where the Apostles evangelized, martyred or died. That says a lot more than arguing about the context of scripture and how it works in courts in regards to validity, merit and authentication. You read the word Bible on your Bible and don't even realize that the origin of the word is Latin. Bible is middle English but derives from Latin. What merit does your church have? Any world renowned miracles? Arguing over context does nothing in court in regards to proving credentials, merit, validation and authentication. You laugh but all you have is arguing over the context of scripture. Thats how Jesus was tempted in the desert. With a warped false gospel presented with arrogance.

To claim Mary is without sin is an example of “deceit.”
ather than teach that Mary was sinless, the Bible gives evidence that she was a normal person with a normal person’s need of salvation. In Mary’s praise-filled, humble prayer in Luke 1, she says, “My spirit rejoices in God my Savior” (verse 47). If she were sinless, she would not have needed a “Savior.” Mary receives a gentle rebuke from Jesus in John 2:4, which hardly seems fitting if she were sinless.

Enmity means the Seed and the Woman are at complete odds with the snake and the snake has nothing on the woman and the Seed.
Even more importantly the first Christians in the first 3 centuries of Christianity saw Jesus as the new Adam (which all Protestants accept) and Mary as the New Eve, which is only the logical conclusion of Jesus being the new Adam. Eves disobedience led to the fall of Adam, while the New Eves obedience in her perfect yes to God, gave rise to the New Adam to come into the world and save us all.

This video kind of blows my mind. I've never heard theology like this and it actually makes so much sense and is cohesive. My particular denomination of Christianity (COGIC) also teaches that we can live sinless lives after being saved..... but that gives me a question. In my denomination we refer to each other as "saints" but I've heard Catholics refer to themselves as "sinners" and I believe they were baptized Catholics. Does this contradict?.... I heard the rosary and it's also in the rosary.

    • @jendoe9436
      @jendoe9436 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Well, we Catholics refer to ourselves as ‘sinners’ because we are. We can try and do God’s will in our lives, but we also know we will fail sometimes because that’s how life as a human goes. One moment we can be doing good, and the next can fail at doing the good and need to rectify the wrong we’ve done.
The Church recognizes saints as those being in Heaven and who at that point can never sin again because they are in God’s eternal grace. Capital “S” Saints refer to those the Church recognizes as for sure being in Heaven based on certain criteria such as the working of miracles and their general life. Now that doesn’t mean non-canonized (the term to distinguish the Saint title) souls aren’t saints in heaven, it just means the Church doesn’t have the necessary evidence to make that call one way or another.
So in a nutshell, Catholics call ourselves sinners because we know we can fail and strife to do better with the grace of God. “Saints” is directed more towards those who have achieved that state of grace and are with God in heaven. In a way, it kind of keeps people in this life humble as we don’t know for sure if we’re fully fulfilling God’s will for us, whereas being with God in heaven is kind of a more obvious clue if we did things right or not. 😅

    • @DjSostre7
      @DjSostre7 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

No love. It doesn't contradict. When catholics refer to themselves as sinners, they arent saying they aren't saints or can't be. They are simply acknowledging who they are by nature: sinful. It's a humbleness before God. Telling God, they understand that without Him they are lost.
I hope that makes sense. God be with you.

Even some of the greatest saints would often say/write how they felt so undeserving of God’s grace in their lives and cite how they want to do so much more in following God’s will in their lives. This sentiment shared by people who could attract crowds from miles around to hear them speak, spend hours and hours in prayerful meditation, go out and help others without thinking twice, even perform miracles, and still they always felt they could do more. It’s both inspiring and kind of intimidating sometimes 😅
Going back a bit to the idea of humility, I really like a quote Fr. Mike Schmitz (Bible in Year podcast guy and a generally good priest and speaker) cites, “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.” The Saints were like that in their lives in the sense that they never really put themselves down, as they are God’s creation and thus good, but simply wanted to do more to follow God’s will and didn’t want their own wills to block His will out.

So this notion that Mary had to say yes is ludicrous. What God proposes and wills, is going to happen and NOBODY can prevent it. God did not get with the angel and said let's check with Mary first and see if she wants to bring the Messiah. God didn't say otherwise this is going to work. Mary was not here to do her will. This is literally talking about spiritual death. Come on prots wake up, & study church history.
And don't say well I have the Bible, so I don't need to read any church fathers.

Of course the Bible is the true inspired word of God.
But u are the one, who did u bring up, that everything is thought in scripture.
But where in scripture does it say that? ? ?
Bc you're making a claim, so if you're making a claim then u have to prove it. Bc the onus is on u to prove.
Also my whole point is to point out, when in history did this take place at.
When in history did the books of the Bible become canonized to be one book...
Since the Bible is a collection of diff books.
Bc without those men in history, we would have no canon. But you're saying we dont need those men to learn scripture.
How do u think we got the Bible to be canonized into one book?
Bc with that logic that's like saying hey we needed these men in history, to go all over the world & collect all these diff Scrolls in diff Churches. Then compile all these diff books together, to canonize the Bible together to be one book. But u think we don't need their teachings.
But we need these men for the Canon to be one book in history. but we don't need to hear what they have to say in history, to learn the Theology of the Canon that they passed down.
So they just passed down the bible down through history, but didn't pass down their teaching of the Bible through history. So they just passed down the Bible alone, without their teaching of the Bible?
I mean u can't have your cake, & eat it too. That's being a hypocrite my friend.
U cant take the bible out of history, that those men canonized for us. Then ignore their teaching on what the bible really teaching.
Bc they're the ones who told us what were the correct inspired scriptures. For the bible to be one book. For the whole entire world.
I mean do u really think they didn't know what the correct gospel was? ? ?
But they knew the correct 27 NT books that forms the 4 Gospels💯, but didn't know what the true Gospel is.
What did they teach a false gospel then?
Maybe they got lucky & just knew the exact correct 27 NT scriptures.
Do u really believe that those men who were entrusted to the church through the Holy Spirit. Who were entrusted to know the exact correct inspired scriptures through the Holy Spirit.
But then not know the correct interpretation of those scriptures, to know the correct one true Gospel of those same scriptures.
You're taking one thing out of history from men (ie The Bible). But then ignoring the teachings of those very same men, that they taught throughout history & passed down to other faithful men. When it was the same men who were the ones who canonized the books to be the canon throughout history.
It's not one or the other, it's both and together has one. U can't take one teaching out of history, then ignore the other teachings of history.
When those are the same exact teachings is what gives us the canon (ie_Bible)...

For Me To Born Again is to be Born with Mary. Being Born again means that you are Christ like. That's why for me accepting Mary is a perfect example of being truly reborn, as Jesus said on the Cross when he is about to die, " Women behold your son, Son behold your Mother" is like a last will and testament that we must truly treasure. We cannot reborn without a Mother right, because through motherhood child was born and that was Mary did. We cannot deny as we Glorify Jesus as our God and Savior we somehow Glorify Mary's role as Mother of her son Jesus. Jesus humanity is bone of Mary's bone and flesh of Mary's flesh. Mary is the first one to receive and experience in what we call in the scripture " The Word became flesh and Dwelt among us." Jesus dwelt first inside Mary's womb before he began to dwell with us which I think as sign of his complete union with us, as he need to experience being born as human. That's why Mary is depicted as a new Arc of the covenant where the Word of God first dwelt(the 10 commandments) before and now became flesh which is Jesus who dwelling among us right now.

Mar 10:18 KJV - And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
You must realise that in order for God to prevent Mary from sinning AT ALL he has to prevent her from having free will her entire life, otherwise she can simply entertain a wrong thought for a moment and she's done. That's mind control, not salvation. And aside from the depths of knotty problems we run into with that mind enslavement, we know God did not control her mind because she forgot Jesus when as a child he was at the temple.
Regardless of the above, Mary had the original sin of Adam imputed to her, for she died. God could control her like a robot but she still needed a Saviour to rescue her from Adam's sin.
1 Corinthinans 15:22 KJV - For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
      All means all.
Romans 5:14 KJV - Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that HAD NOT SINNED after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Matthew Henry: "Original sin is a want of conformity to, and actual sin is a transgression of, the law of God: therefore all were under some law. His proof of it is, Death reigned from Adam to Moses, v. 14. It is certain that death could not have reigned if sin had not set up the throne for him. This proves that sin was in the world before the law, and original sin, for death reigned over those that had not sinned any actual sin, that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, never sinned in their own persons as Adam did-which is to be understood of infants, that were never guilty of actual sin, and yet died, because Adam's sin was imputed to them."

Now the argument for “the incarnation of Jesus had to be perfect, so Mary had to be perfect” is completely illogical for me. Jesus was born in a barn he wasn’t born in a “perfect place”, he was hunted when he was a baby and had to run which again is far from perfect, and came from Nazareth which was a town full of sin and hanged with sinners and tax collectors throughout his entire life. @@Gcock That’s true, however it’s widely believed that Jesus’ sacrifice also saved people like Abraham which came before Jesus’ incarnation. When Abraham trusted in God, scripture says that it was counted to him as righteousness. But I understand what you mean about covenant theology. I believe that when Jesus completed the covenant (at the time of his death), we were all saved upon accepting him into our hearts. Since we live in him, when he died free of sin he took our sin and paid for it, and by living perfectly, we are also made worthy enough to be accepted into heaven. Not because of how we live, but because he completed the covenant for us. He took the law upon himself, and his actions are counted for us since he lives in us when we accept him. So the covenant is the same throughout our history, but through Gods love and grace, we were able to partake in it and be relieved of its punishments.

False. You don’t know what you’re talking about. The Immaculate Conception was dogmatically DEFINED in the 19th century; that does NOT mean it was invented at that time. The Immaculate Conception can be proven proven from Scripture and it was taught in the second century by St. Irenaus of Lyons.

Romans 2:11 and Acts 10:34 speak of showing favoritism to nations, not individuals. Surely he was partial to some more than others, whether that be because of the way they lived or their ancestry, look at Abraham, Joseph or Issac. Romans 11:32 doesn't apply to Mary, God showed her mercy at conception. Neither does Romans 23:23, all doesn't mean there aren't exceptions, Mary being one of those. The Psalm doesn't apply to Mary, because again she was given a special grace by God at conception. Isaiah 8:20 is speaking of acertain prophecy by Isaiah, it has nothing to do with what you are trying to imply by taking it out of context, and the reason why we know Mary is without sin is because of scripture, not in spite of it. The title given to her by Gabriel, Kecharitomene, means so much more than just full of grace, it tells us who Mary is. Oh, and Matthew 12:46 isn't even an objection, Mary does the will of God, see Luke 1:38, so she is indeed his mother. Jesus is just say doing the will of God is more important than natural kinship.

The fact that Jesus Christ said he's the only way (intercessor) to the Father Jehovah and no one else it's wild. Pray to no one else because that's what the pagans do. The Answer is simple:
If living with Jesus did Not keep Mary sinless, and being with the Actual Jesus Christ for 36 years* does nothing for Your Character, then Jesus is worthless or powerless.
Mary sinning while living with Jesus opens a host of moral and theological problems.
Ergo Mary must be overflowing with Grace and have no room for sin.**
I don't know how Protestants muss this all the time.

In all of the Old Testament when a Lamb was chosen for Passover it was without spot or blemish. There is no requirement in the Old Testament that says the Lambs mother needed to be without spot or blemish.

The sin nature is passed down through the seed of the man that is why God made the promise from the beginning that Messiah would come from the seed of the woman, so that He wouldn't have the sin natire passed down to Him. Mary was not perfect, she was a virgin, undefiled by a man so the sin nature from the seed of the man was not present at the conception. Scripture says ALL have sinned, that includes Mary and nowhere does scripture say Mary was sinless while it does say Jesus was sinless.
Until you give scripture that says Mary did not sin the way it CLEARLY states Jesus never sinned, you believe a false doctrine
