Not gonna lie, i only clicked on the video because my name is Mariana lol, but she looks stunning! I love the hair and the creativity that went into this desing ❤
She's gorgeous! Ethereal, enchanting, majestic, and slightly creepy all at once. The tail design is unique, it looks like a real fish. And I'm in love with her hair!
She’s absolutely Stunning .I love her face paint, the eyes are gorgeous, really striking and give that fantasy feel to her.I like the colour of her tail too,it suits her colouring and the soft colours in her hair too.Such an enchanting looking mermaid.I love her 🥰
It was a labor of love but I was so sick of gluing paper by the end of it all. It was great collabing with you too, I look forward to more in the future!
She's beautiful and so meticulous! I love the gradient on her tail, the markings give her a very predatory vibe. 😍 Thanks so much for collabing with me too~!
Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to work with you as always. I was determined to not do my typical solid color or gradient tail designs that I always fall back on.
She's so gorgeous and magical! 💖💖 Ii love how you made her tail (the twxture and fins, specifically) and rhe colour story. And it was lovely working with you again. 😊
Thank you so much!! Its always a pleasure to collab with you too. The paint job definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone but I was pleased with how the pattern turned out.
It worked surprisingly well. Hard type simply snapped with the shaping and was really brittle and full soft was too easily distorted. I think it was 3:1/hard:soft ratio in the end.
So pretty! The details on the tail are amazing. I love when you can use cheap or leftover materials to achieve amazing results. I also think painting the scleras black was the perfect choice to make her look whimsical and deep-seeish. The name is such a good derivation too, so genius!
She is absolutely spectacular 🤩 I love this mermaid, and I don't usually like this type of doll. I really don't know why, but you've managed to change my mind wth Marianna!❤😂🎉
That is the one I referenced when sculpting this one. I love all the trident styled weapons in BFA they had so many great ones. I used to play all the time but haven't since BFA, I've done a couple of WoW dolls before and I used to do a lot of Blizzard cosplay too, I was working on a Kyrian Covenant Armor set when covid hit but I abandoned it because making costumes was too depressing when there where no cons on the horizon.
She's absolutely gorgeous! But the weapon/history/myth nerd in me has to speak up, it's not a trident but a bident! In Greek mythology, the bident is a weapon associated with Hades, the ruler of the Underworld, just fyi. I think it's actually very fitting for a deep water mermaid!
As a fellow Mariana, and art appreciatiator. This looks really pretty, I love it.
Me too!! (Also a fellow Mariana) ❤
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like her.

Glad you liked it!! I hope she lives up to your namesake :)

Thank you so much! I was so nervous about painting the tail.
@@LadyDynamiteCreates well it looks great!
I was horrified by the black sclera initially but It works so well in the end! Congrats 👏🏻
Thank you, I was definitely taking a big chance because I'm pretty sure it would not have erased without acetone.

Thank you, I was trying to be very conscious of how pale the hair was so she wasn't washed out. I knew I wanted the tail to be bolder.
omg i could never do what you did for the scales! she looks stunning and the trident is a nice touch, glad to be in this collaboration with you!
It was a labor of love but I was so sick of gluing paper by the end of it all. It was great collabing with you too, I look forward to more in the future!
Wonderful mermaid! I liked the colour of the paper circles too, but she's much less herring and more deep sea now. Those eyes are gorgeous too.
Thank you. The color really grew on me and I considered trying to keep it but decided to go darker in the end and I glad I did.
She is beautiful. I love her eyes and her trident. Her tail is lovely too. You did a great job
Thank you so much, I really love how the trident turned out.
She is gorgeous 💜💚💙
Thank you so much!
So incredibly gorgeous!!! I love the black scleras & that is the coolest trident! 😍❤️👏 I learn something new in every single one of your videos 🥰
Thank you so much! I was so happy with the trident, it was a pain to print for some reason so I will NEVER print it again but I love it.
She's beautiful and so meticulous! I love the gradient on her tail, the markings give her a very predatory vibe. 😍 Thanks so much for collabing with me too~!

She came out beautiful, Lady D! Love her!♥
I'm so glad you like her, thank you!
She's gorgeous. I love her faceup and tail❤❤
Thank you so much!
she’s so pretty!! I was so enthralled with the body mods and stuff that when you said it’s time for the face up i was like ?? i swear that was done
Me and you both! This project drug on for ages.
I LOVE her face!!! Amazing job!
Thank you so much!
@@LadyDynamiteCreates You're very welcome. Have a great day! 🥰
TRUELY MER-MAZING!!! Great Work!
Thank you very much!

I LOVE how you did the fins omg. And using the blend of resins so you could pose them was genius!
It worked surprisingly well. Hard type simply snapped with the shaping and was really brittle and full soft was too easily distorted. I think it was 3:1/hard:soft ratio in the end.
Mariana looks beautiful, she is my number three favorite custom doll, I love everyone's Mermay Collab dolls, see you next time.
Thank you, so glad you like her
@@LadyDynamiteCreates Your welcome, more like LOVE.
The dark eyebrows look amazing
I'm so glad you like them, I felt like they were a bit dark but its hard to tell when you look at something too long you loose perspective.
Wow, she's gorgeous!
Thank you!
Another wonderful doll worth the wait
Thank you, life has gotten so busy lately its been hard to fit in art time.
@@LadyDynamiteCreates dont apologize for having a life.
She’s so ethereal! I adore her 🤩
Thank you so much!
So beautiful 😮❤ your technique for the scales is such a good idea
Thanks, I really like the effect it gives but it takes FOREVER!

Thank you, I really like the effect the scales gave. It probably took just as long as sculpting scales but I definitely had more control.
This is one beautiful mermaid, you make everything look so easy but it's definitely not, you are one amazing woman ❤🇬🇧
Wow, thank you! 🥰
Very beautiful! I would have liked to have seen a close-up of the finished tail, though.
Thanks, I'll try to do more close ups next time
I am finally catching up with what's going on in the doll world and your tutorial is awesome, lots of tips and the end result, Beautiful ❤❤
Thanks so much 😊

Awesome 😮
Thanks 🤗
Very pretty 😀
Thank you! Cheers!
Mega Super👍👍👍👍👍🏆
🥰 Thanks!
oo do you play WoW? her bident looks exactly like one of my favorite staves from the game (Liara's Spire)! :D

That makes total sense! It never even occurred to me that tri-3, bi-2 but that does play into her overall aesthetic too.
I always see this mermaids and think: why they don’t have a closed nose and gills an the cheeks? I think it would be very interesting to see.
I always fall into the trap of wanting them to be pretty but might have to give one a try with more fishlike features
👏😍
