I almost always match them unless I am doing white hair because I HATE how the white shows up. I usually try to go with a light grey then. I like to think these unnatural colors are natural in these characters worlds 🥰

I've just started to customize dolls, but I have to say that I tried a lot of different brands of watercolor pencils and I definitively use Stabilo, and for white I use white charcoal because the pigmentation is amazing!
I really enjoyed watching U work & talk about what U were doing as U went along!!! That being said have U ever used fake eyelashes as we as drawn ones??? Just seems that may have helped her eyes pop more, all in all an Absolutely Gorgeous Fairy Princess Maiden !!! Thank U, please do more such projects!!! Your work is very much enjoyable to watch, listen too, & see the end results of!!!

Why so much junk in the junk with these Gen 3 minter high dolls? ( sorry I watch a doll artist on TH-cam that uses Gen 1 monster high dolls and the bodies are so different from each Gen)
Most of the time I use the Gen 1 dolls but I really hate making clothing for them because the sway back causes issues with fit. I really enjoy the new G3 curves, but they have their own set of negatives too.

one modification that I seen some doll customizers do is they add resin eyes to the Monster girl heads which adds a whole new level than painting eyes
I have done that only twice and it gives a cool effect. Once was with LED light up eyes but that was before I started TH-cam. It was super fun
